Burger Village is, in my opinion, a better option than Bareburger, both food and price-wise. The decor is creative and a bit dark, but I was fine with it. The service is not on task all of the time, either on their phones, or talking to one another. Despite this, they are very helpful and considerate. The food is actually very delicious. I ordered the elk burger, with a lettuce bun. This burger was about $10, but was tender and fresh. The fries are cooked perfectly and are golden delicious. The salads looked appetizing, along with the beverages, like the shakes. Lastly, this restaurant is organic and healthy. Come here, it will be an experience that is worth the money.

I came to Burger Village for the first time about three months ago on a limb. I hadn't heard much about it except for the fact that it was all-organic and that the owner (Nick) was the God of burgers (I read this in another Yelp review). ALL THIS WAS TRUE, AND MORE: 1. The burgers are great. There are so many interesting options, I dare you to go only once (but don't actually go JUST once, because there are so many interesting options that you won't find anywhere else in Great Neck like bison burgers or bean burgers or whatever the hell). My personal favorite is the veggie burger. Prior to my veggie burger experience at Burger Village, I don't think I had ever tried a veggie burger before. At least, I had never tried one that constituted a "burger" or "food." I love my meats, but I'll be damned if you don't try and admit that Burger Village's veggie burger is delicious. 2. Burger Village is extremely environmentally conscious. Everything is made of recycled materials. Everything is super organic. Even the sodas are organic. What the hell? I didn't even know organic sodas existed. 3. There's something here for EVERYONE. Vegetarian? Vegan? Welcome to Burger Village! Additionally, it delights me to say that the vegetarian and vegan options here are flavorful and filling. 4. Basically, everything on the menu is pretty much great. I still need to come back to try everything else. 5. Burger Village puts the "sphere" in atmosphere. The interior is so cozy and cool that paired with their awesome food, there is no doubt that you will become a happy, circular mass upon several enthusiastic returns to this establishment. 6. Nick (the owner) is a bro. Super cool. Wonderful service. He really seems excited about what he's doing with his restaurant, and it's always a pleasure to see an individual so driven and passionate about his or her work! 7. Don't go to Bareburger down the street. Just kidding. Do what you please. But seriously, Bareburger's food tastes like yarn. Their exotic meats, while still exotic, are under-seasoned and disappointing. I'm really glad I live close by because now I know that if and when I crave reasonably priced organic comfort foods, I can stop by whenever. The first time I came, I was so happy with my experience that I promised Nick I would write a Yelp review expressing my overflowing contentment. It's been three months. LOL. Sorry, Nick. This place really deserves a five star review, though, and I hope you give it a try! GO BURGER VILLAGE!

Definitely did not expect such great burgers! I had the lamb burger medium well and it was really good. The organic sodas are awesome too. Not too pricey either!

Loved it, kind of ran into the place by accident. But the food is definitely great quality but kind of reminded me of bareburger but it can get 5 stars for it's own great food !!! Great place in the neighborhood.

No thanks, the service was not attentive and the server seemed like he could careless that we were there. Our table was the only one in the whole restaurant. The menu selection was small.

Burgers are fresh and delicious! Seasoned fries have a nice kick to them. Local place that we will most certainly be back too.

Very similar to Bare Burger (which has a location nearby) but has its own charm as well. Wife and I enjoyed our burgers during our recent trip. It was VERY quiet when we stopped in for lunch on a weekday - there was, I believe, one other couple. Granted, we popped in after 1:00pm so it's possible the lunch rush had subsided by then. Wife had the Bison Burger and I had the Boar Burger with the "Make a Mess" recommended signature pair. Both of us really enjoyed our meals but I have to say I was digging my wife's burger a tad more than my own, although I had no qualms whatsoever with mine. I ordered my burger "medium" and it was done just right. Wife's was medium well but was not all too dry. We shared a basket of onion rings which came with spicy ketchup. I washed it all down with a Cola which was "Handcrafted Organic Certified Sweetened". We were definitely full after our meal and well into the evening but didn't feel like we had a brick sitting in our stomach. You can tell the quality was high and I am looking forward to coming back and trying one of their several other burgers. My wife approves as well and that says a lot because she's not a "burger gal" but she definitely loves Burger Village. That alone makes this spot a destination to which we will certainly return.

Organic, every type of burger; lamb, bison, turkey, beef to veggie burger that comes with a pairing list that is wonderful. I opted for classic beef burger with arugula, blue cheese and some kind of spicy mustard. My other mom ordered classic beef burger and we had fries and a local beer on tap to wash it all down. The place is cool. We went during lunchtime, it was mostly businessmen. Surprisingly not full. We were leaving when I noticed the outdoor seating so I peeked out back. On my next round.

Super fresh and fast. Organic fare and good beer on tap. Lamb burger with tzatziki and goat cheese is amazing. My friend got a regular burger which she said was the best burger she has had in a long time. Signature sauce a must. Great fries and onion rings (Frings). I will definitely go back next time I'm in town!

Had the Bison burger......amazing, the signature sauce was so good. Making plans to come back

This was certainly one of the best Groupons I've ever purchased! I stumbled upon this place while scoping out groupon. I've been a fan of Bareburger for the past few years and after reading the menu, it was very similar, so I figured I'd give it a shot. My fiancé and I arrived around 2pm on this beautiful Sunday afternoon. There was only one other party in the restaurant when we were seated. The host/waiter was so friendly and helpful and went over the menu with us. The deal was good for 2 burgers, 2 fries or onion rings, and 2 sodas. The menu was almost mirrored of Bareburger with a few less options. Meats were all the same, elk, lamb, beef, ostrich, boar, bison, etc. Multigrain or brioche buns. Sharp cheddar, crumbled goat, Colby, or pepper jack. My fiancé ordered a lamb burger, rare, with crumbled goat cheese, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce, tomato, and their signature sauce (chipotle mayo with their homemade buttermilk ranch) on brioche. It was delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly. Perfectly cooked and their sauce was great. As for me, I ordered an elk burger, also rare, with sharp cheddar, bacon, and sautéed mushrooms, on brioche as well. I'm sad to say my burger wasn't rare, it was more like medium well. I was pretty disappointed but l didn't want to send it back. So I ate it, and it was good, but I know it wasn't as good as it could have been. The BBQ sauce it was paired with was delicious and gave the burger added moisture that was needed. The fries were really good too! But those onion rings, oh my goodness. AMAZING. Best onion rings I've ever had. We were given 4 dipping sauces, the signature sauce, honey mustard, BBQ, and buttermilk ranch. All house-made, all very good. The house made organic sodas were also good. My cola wasn't too sweet and my fiancé, who doesn't drink soda, had 2 glasses of the lemon lime! I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu. The portions are bigger, the quality is as good, and the prices are smaller than Bareburger. This is my new go-to game meat burger spot!

Decided to try this place because it was nearby where my mom and I were planning to go after. It was empty and I ordered the village elk burger with the My Deer recommendation without the tomatoes, fresh cut fries with their chipotle ketchup and signature sauce, my mom ordered salad with turkey meat. I liked my burger, it was juicy, made well and I like the sauce. The sauces for their fries were different and tasty and I really liked them both. The salad was good but the turkey was dry. We also order their root beer and cola because I checked in and received 20% off. It's cute how they serve their water and sodas in mason jars. I'd definitely go again their burgers.

  • Judith R.

Great food! Onion rings are awesome here. First time here and this is much better than the other organic burger place in town. This place has "barely" any real competition. Menu is very similar as the "old" menu of that other organic burger place, but less expensive. Def will be back.

Just got my order of mushroom burger and fring. The best mushroom burger I ever had, great fries too, delivery guy very friendly but the time for delivery it's a bit too long (almost one hour) other than that the food is excellent

I usually like this place but am getting a bit frustrated. We ordered in and asked specifically for Signature Sauce on burgers, with fries, and extra. We got one extra. . Lame. Also, I ordered the Boar burger. I've ordered it other places and it was always amazing - smooth, juicy, - very flavorful! I don't know what was wrong with this one but I couldn't even eat it. It was tough, - knotty? I don't know really but definitely not good. Not a mistake I'll repeat.

Wow what a great local place. We had gone to the sushi place next door but after sitting with no service for over ten minutes we left and came here. Great decision. The food was great, the service was much better than what we just came from. I asked the waiter how the margarita was he said amazing, but not really, very sweet. But my wife did love it. I ended up doing a beer and it was a good filling craft beer, the name escapes me. The burger was well cooked and still very juicy. My wife had the chicken sandwhich and she said it was better than bareburger. The mgr was very nice, the waiter didn't honor the get 20% off coupon we grabbed on yelp which was for a soda and burger since I had a beer instead. I think he was just being lazy and didn't want to take the 20% off. Other than that great experience and would definitely go back.

This a long overdue review. This place is just amazing. My fiance and I have gone to so many burger joints that we have lost track. And there is no other burger out there that is better than Burger Village. We have tried over 4 different burgers and it was just so amazing. Very fresh and just delicious. Wish we lived closer and a huge fan of their fries and onion rings. Can't wait to come back!

These burgers were good, but not great. I have definitely had better burgers before. This place has a very wide variety of different burgers made of different animals. and many options for toppings. their fries were good (how could you mess that up! lol ) but their sauces were great. everything seems to be made from scratch. Everything is organic too! and those allergic to gluten? They have gluten free food! Would i come back here? yea maybe if i'm in the neighborhood. I'd say give it a try.

Excellent and consistent quality. We used to go to Bare Burger but once we found Burger Village we never looked back. The quality of the burgers and the preparation is far superior. One of the best burgers we've ever had. Chicken fingers all white meat and are nice and crunchy and fries and rings are thin and delicious too. We dine in and order in once a week from BV. If organic/Non GMOi gradients are important to you as well (it is to us), give this place a try.

  • Denise R.

Love this place! Go here with my friends often and we are always pleased with the food. Vegan (bean burger is amazing) and gluten free items on the menu accomodates everyone in our party and are always delicious. They even serve gluten free beer! My friend is strict gluten free and has never gotten sick from eating here which tells me the kitchen is careful not to cross contaminate the food. The staff are always nice and helpful. Love the signature sauce and the make a mess recommended signature pair. Many selections to choose from to pair up with your burger. They even give you an option to get a side order of half an order of fries and half an order of onion rings which is appropriately named 'frings'. Best of all, it's all GMO FREE. We will be back soon.

So my boyfriend and I ordered for deliver today from this place. I don't think we'll be ordering from here ever again.. I got the Lentil soup and he got a chicken sandwich with turkey bacon, avocado, tomatoes and lettuce. The man on the phone told us it would take 30 minutes for the food to get to us. The food got here within an hour and the guy over the phone didn't charge my card so we had to call the store again to give them my card info after the food got here. My lentil soup was some what good I just wish they would of added a little more salt. and my boyfriend said the sandwich was "okay". Plus the size of the soup was not worth 6-7 bucks.

I have been a longtime customer of Bareburger (first the ones in Queens and then the much more local to me Great Neck location) for many years. While the Bareburger service at the GN location was always horrendous, the food used to be good. My one beef (no pun intended) was the fact that they said the lamb burger (which is my burger of choice) had to be cooked "medium" which meant within an inch of it's life. They recently changed the Bareburger menu, and based on my last experience there, the food now matches the service for horrendous. Burger Village which is conveniently located a block away, is EVERYTHING that Bareburger used to be..and more. The prices are a bit cheaper, the lamb burger is cooked perfectly (I ordered mine medium rare), my fiancé's beef burger was a thing of beauty with which he is still besotted and about which he still speaks effusively a week later, the fries are cooked perfectly, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick. My only slight complaint is that the AC could be turned up a bit higher, but they will probably remedy that within a few weeks when it gets really hot out.

Yum!! Great lil place with a variety of burger options - both veggie and meat friendly. I settled for the chicken sandwich with a fried egg and their special sauce. it was delicious! They have grilled jalapenos which are BOMB (it's fresh jalapenos, not the canned kind). My fiance and I enjoyed our dinner, and we will most certainly be back! PS - they have organic soda (made somewhere upstate?) that is also very tasty!

Burger Village is undoubtedly my favorite place to eat a burger. Their menu has most of the meats you will find in a burger place, however, all of it is organic. The decor is okay, it is dimly lit but that provides a cozier atmosphere in my opinion. The service is good as well and I have never found myself waiting long to be helped or for my food. As far as the burgers go, I have yet to be disappointed and frequent Burger Village a couple times a week. The meat is very tasty and the sides are all good as well. They also make a great milkshake. The price has been raised since it has opened but I think that the food is well worth it. You wont be dissappointed!

I was craving a burger but I wanted to try something different. I had to be in the area and yelped and came up with Burger Village. I chose the bison burger, med rare with LTO with goat cheese cooked just right and nicely seasoned. The bison is lean which is what I wanted, you do not feel like you just ate a heavy burger but it is more juicy and flavorful than a turkey burger IMHO. Also had the hand cut fries that were also excellent. They also kept my soda topped off. Service was attentive and they have a really nice outdoor seating area in the back. 20% off burger with YELP check in.

A nice and cozy joint in booj-wah Great Neck. I only had the fries. I was craving fries; they cost four bux and change wit-tha tax. Some may ask, fool, why you ain't go to Mickey D's, or Wendy's, or Burgah King? Well, simple, if this fool had a choice, he'd rather support a mom and pop spot that doesn't pay slave wages globally, where the fries are cut on site fresh daily from organic potatoes, and fried in non-gmo oil. I am a health conscious fool but nonetheless, the fries (fried in peanut oil) were tossed in course sea salt, served pie-pin hot, had alot of crisp and tatse in general. When I am craving a bur-gah I'll check-em out- see what they're workin-wit. Their signature sauce taste good too, but nothing totally noteworthy, and their ketchup isn't full of carcinogens. Good Stuff.

ok another super quick review, theres no need to get too involved here...theres already a ton of reviews for this place. im a notoriously picky burger guy...this place makes great burgers. done. its pretty much an exact duplicate of bareburger just a block away...thats not a complaint. this place is however *slightly* less expensive. now, my girlfriend says she likes burger village a little more than bareburger...im the opposite...but really they are so similar it hardly matters. there are some minor differences...as another reviewer mentioned...the onion rings (not as good as beareburgers). our burgers were delicious, and made just how we asked for them...what else is there to say? go there and have a great burger.

This place is close by my house and I have ordered here a few times. The food is very good, similar to Bareburger. They have less of a selection but the I would have the say the food tastes a tad bit better. The food is always delivered on time and the delivery people are very polite. Definitely recommend this place! I normally order the seasoned fries ($4 for a very large order!) and the chicken fingers. Their shakes are very good as well!

Unreliable delivery. Placed an order for lunch on a weekday. Was given an hour delivery time as an estimate. I am still waiting for my order to arrive and it is now 45 minutes late. I called the restaurant twice - was told the food was on its way. Then was told there was "Traffic". I google map'd the route and it would take 13 minutes with current traffic conditions. How can delivery take 2 hours on a WEEKDAY at LUNCH TIME? My food finally arrived over 2 hours after I called. My food was cold and my shake was melted. I called several times and the restaurant was extremely rude and not apologetic at all. He brushed me off and said my food was coming and it was on the house after only offering me a 20% discount. I understand deliveries can get backed up sometimes but the way the restaurant handled it was unacceptable. Rude.

I guess I really got on their nerve and they left me a nasty note: "Why send fake reviews you were obviously never there". Well I was there with the wife and family. The young guy at the entrance saw me struggling at the door with a stroller and just waited. Then he looked very annoyed that he has to sit us down. My kids chicken fingers were so hard that we couldn't cut them with a knife!! They got the buns wrong on the order. The meat taste was blend and the sauces seemed to just attempt to cover for the bad taste. Both the regular and sweet potato fries tasted like nothing. Sorry if I upset anyone. It's our personal view of the place, however our friends found the place rather horrible when they went there. Cheers.

I've been wanting to try Burger Village since it opened, but always got detoured to Bare Burger. Last week my coworkers and I finally ordered delivery from BV (so glad they deliver!). We all came to the consensus that BV's burgers are much better than BB. The only downfall were the onion rings. They lack in crunch and substance. For those of you who have had Bare Burger's onion rings, you know what I'm talking about. I ordered the black bean burger topped with a fried egg, sauteed mushrooms, smoked mozzarella and their special sauce. It was a monstrosity (it felt like it weighed 2 lbs) and absolutely delicious. It was seasoned perfectly and wasn't dry. I even forgot I wasn't eating meat because it was so filling. My coworkers ordered the lamb, wild boar, and beef burgers, sweet potato and seasoned fries with an assortment of dipping sauces. Get the buttermilk ranch! We'll definitely be ordering from Burger Village again.

Had my first burger and salad tonight. Everything was as fresh as it could be. Loved the flavor and texture of the burger. Met Sam, one of the owners, who was super nice and friendly. Great beer on tap, though I didn't have the chance to try any...tonight it was take out. I will be back with some friends in the near future.

Took over 60 minutes to get a salad delivered. Delivery guy also had the audacity to complain about the distance of where I lived and the tip $ that was given. The only bright spot was that the salad was actually tasty.

  • Stephanie S.

Deliciously and outrageously overpriced. The food was delicious, seriously no doubt about that, but $70 for 3 drinks, a wrap and a burger? HMMM....... No. If you can afford it without feeling remorse, go for it. If not, walk past it.

I wish I didn't have to write this review, but do not ever order delivery from this place. It took 2 hours for the food to be delivered, the food was cold, and I had to call three times. When I called and spoke to the manager Robbie, he was extremely rude and didn't even apologize for the late delivery. I said that it was unacceptable for delivery to take two hours and he kept trying to justify himself, which was unacceptable. Complete lack of customer service.

I live 2 blocks from Burger Village and finally stopped in last week to grab a burger. It was surprisingly delicious. Its funny because there is another organic burger place 1 block away (Bare Burger) and this place has MUCH better food - not even close. I hope other people in the area pick up on this place because the manager is a really nice guy and the food is great. It truly deserves to be packed every night. They also have a great bar in the back which serves everything. I highly recommend Burger Village.

Overall one of my new favorite burger spots. Ordered a lamb burger on multi grain with colby cheese (would have preferred with goat cheese but was out today) and usual toppings, and was very pleased. Definite upgrade from the greasy, drive -thru, wrapped in paper kind of burgers. You can taste the difference in quality immediately and the burger almost melts in your mouth. Topped with the creamsicle shake, a side of frings (1/2 fries, 1/2 onion rings, w/ the house special sauce ), awesome service... I'll definitely be back.

Date and time of visit: Thursday, August 28, 2014 @ 4:45 pm. Thanks to yelp, my husband and I decided to dine there...best decision of the day. The gentleman that greeted us was extremely polite and friendly.(something that isn't a given anymore) He was knowledgeable about the differences in the meats available. I chose the Bison burger and complmented it with an order of fries and onion rings... I had been on a strict diet for a month and a half and couldnt have been happier when I chose to stray with those OUTSTANDING ONION RINGS...the only downfall to this restaurant is that it isn't in LINDENHURST. .my town. If the owner is reading, I hope you will consider opening a restaurant in Lindenhurst, Babylon...south shore anywhere ...I will be first in line!!!

My husband and I went to Burger Village for the first time about a week ago, since we had a Groupon, it was almost 9 p.m., and we figured, "What the heck?" After visiting the restaurant, we now view it as, "What a find!" The first thing we noticed was the appealingly simple new decor. The menu was also inviting. My husband ordered a medium well beef cheeseburger. I took the advice of the adorable waiter and ordered the black bean burger with sauteed onions and avocado. We also shared an order of French fries. While my husband normally hates any soda but regulation Diet Coke, he conceded that the organic soda substitute for Diet Coke was the best he's had. My veggie burger was definitely the best I've had, and that includes veggie burgers at both Bare Burger and Smashburger. I must say that I find charging for the condiments really silly. I just read that 80% of diners say they refuse to pay extra for condiments, and we know several couples who won't go to Burger Village for just that reason. The extra 49 cents isn't going to kill anyone. But it's annoying. As we suggested while we were there, just charge another buck for the burgers and let people have the condiments they want. We think that all restaurants would benefit by doing the same. Anyway, the food was delicious, the service was terrific and Nick, the owner, was extremely gracious. We look forward to returning soon and often. And we wish them the best!

Definitely one of the best burger places in the area. You can get a classic beef burger, or choose from other neat options (leaner meats) like elk or bison! Staff is friendly and food is always cooked how you order. If you feel intimidated by the menu choices they will always offer you excellent suggestions. Everything is organic and fresh! If you want a burger this is your place.

Incredible experience. I usually don't write reviews but the food and service were so great I promised myself I'd do it this time. Even with my generic order of a beef burger and fries, I can easily say that the burgers are the best in great neck.

I cannot say enough about this place. My burger was amazing! Great quality and cooked to perfection. Great fries and they have magic hat beer as well, what more could you ask for? If you are debating where to grab a burger, look no further! I don't often write reviews but this was worth a write up.

A good place for a burger with reasonable prices. The Elk burger was similar to beef with a hint of gaminess. The fries are great value as you get 3-4 orders in one. The onion rings were a smaller order, but still delicious. Decor inside is simple and new. And they also serve decent beers.

This restaurant is a block away from bare burger which I used to frequent. I now prefer the food at Burger Village & so does the rest of my family. I go for the Veggie burger as my top pick but also like the black bean or mushroom burger. My family prefers the various organic meat burgers. Toppings are numerous & add to the experience. You also should try the lentil soup. Salads & sides are also available along with a decent selection of healthier drinks, beers & wines. Hard alcohol is also available. This is now a regular unassuming place that I frequent to have a healthy organic uncomplicated delicious meal at a fair price. Julian & Brenda Bailey

I ate here once and my burger was good, the staff was nice, and they have a lot of cool options for their burgers but in my opinion, it's kind of pricey (for a burger) so I probably wouldn't go back. Also, they have pretty much the same exact menu as the franchised "Bareburger" (which is only a few doors down and is horribly run in Great Neck) so they aren't doing anything to stand out. Lately, it seems a lot of places in Great Neck are going under...curious to see if this place can get by but the only way I see that happening is if they change their prices or do something else that will make them stand out.

Wow this place is awesome, food and service. The indian guy running shop is so on point and is actually a smart host, he knows your order really well. He always runs this like a business and even checks in on his guests. I saw him run 7 tables by hinself which was impressive. The meat was slightly undercooked from our preference and he happily replaced it. Hes the man and deserves every star. Try the seasoned fries its on point.

Great decor! Perfect place for a casual lunch or dinner. The owner is terrific and I even observed him giving the delivery man a free cold soda. Thought I'd applaud his work ethic and positive attutide with a good review of his restaurant which I can tell he takes pride in. I had the lamb burger w/goat cheese as suggested in another review and it was fantastic! Burgers are big so come hungry...

Went to Burger Village a couple of times while in the neighborhood, and was impressed both times. They have a wide variety of burgers - farm animal meat, game, vegetarian patties - on a few different bun choices, as well as meal-sized salads and some bar-type chicken-y finger foods. The minimalist side orders (fries, onion rings) come a la carte. My husband ordered the beef burger both times - once on a multigrain bun, once on a brioche, both cooked to order and tasty. I've ordered both the bison burger and the black bean - both were on multigrain buns and delicious, but what I appreciated about the black bean burger was that it wasn't mushy, as bean patties can sometimes be. We split an order of fries both times - doable for two adults - and stuck to soda (though the shakes look good). The waitstaff are friendly and are efficient, for the most part; the only thing we found lacking was that the staff needs to keep on top of offering drink refills: On our first visit, we weren't offered refills until the end of our meal, and on the second, refills were not offered. Overall, we'll return to Burger Village when in the area. In fact, we might even schlep up there on off hours.

We happened upon this restaurant while in town for a funeral. We had the vegetarian bean burger & mushroom burger. BOTH were fantastic!!!! The fries were just as fantastic. The fella tending to patrons was friendly, very warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is well designed and clean. This place is worth it, too bad we live half way across the states, we'd be back most definitely.

I found heaven and it smells like exotic meats. God is a nice man named Nick and he'll make sure you are well-fed with his delightful organic foods. I've been searching for a lamburger on Long Island ever since I first tried it in Chicago. Stumbled upon this place (while perusing Yelp) by accident but the pictures looked nice enough for me to check out their website...and I am thrilled that I did. I went straight here for dinner. It's only been open for 3 weeks so it was almost completely empty when I showed up with my boyfriend around 8:00. There is a nice rustic atmosphere here; very clean with wooden walls. (With street and public lot parking around back). After sitting we chatted with Nick, who I imagine is the owner, and he told us all about the food preparation and their dedication to 100% organic food. It wasn't my reason for choosing this place but certainly a nice (and even comforting) perk. I started with a glass of water and he brought out a pitcher which was nice so I didn't have to ask for refills. When it came to my meal, I ordered the lamburger (of course) topped with smoked mozzarella and crumbled goat cheese on a whole grain bun. The whole grain bun and the goat cheese had additional charges but they were clearly listed on the menu and I do not think you should forego it. It is an excellent blend of flavor and my burger was made to perfection. My boyfriend ordered a medium rare wild boar burger which he loved. Looked nice and juicy. I almost didn't order the fries but I'm glad I did because I honestly think they are the best fries I've ever had! We were told that they try to remove all of the starch and make them fresh so they are not greasy like most other fries. We finished it off with a vanilla milkshake which was very sweet and creamy, and --you guessed it-- organic. Obviously, the service was great. The men working were eager and happy to meet the guests and get some feedback. They were very attentive to our needs and although they chatted with us, we didn't feel like they hovered over us. It was also nice to see how much they cared about the food and its preparation. They have some pretty sweet selections: elk, ostrich, boar, lamb, etc. I'm particularly interested in the ostrich meat. The burgers are affordable but beware of the additional topping prices! Nothing is hidden, though. Just read the menu and be aware of what you are tacking on to your bill. This place is right down the street from a Bareburger which I have not checked out. I can't imagine why they would open up shop so close to a similar eatery but frankly I don't care because I am so very happy with my experience here. Do yourself a favor -- check this place out. PS: they said that they will deliver to places within about 2 miles. Awesome.

I've always wanted to try bareburger, but never went.I'm guessing this is what its like. At least the same idea good quality food, alternative meat that you cant get at 5guys and other burger spots. The food tasted very good and the onion rings might be top notch. They have natural soda too so i'm guessing my diet cola was sweetened with stevia which i love. I would definately go back and recommend to my crew.

My office put in a huge lunch order today. I had the turkey burger with an order of regular fries. The turkey patty looked and tasted as if it came straight from the frozen food aisle. I paid $9 for the burger alone and all that was in there was a thin slice of tomato, some shredded lettuce and 2 over-cooked turkey patties. The sauces also tasted weird. I tried the BBQ sauce and it tasted expired, overly sour. The honey mustard was ok. The fries which they charge $4 for, lacked seasoning and were mostly soggy. Never ordering from here again.. Waste of $15!!

I've bookmarked this place from the reviews alone and finally I arrived and I was not disappointed at all. I was going to try the lamb burger but I wanted to experience the original patty because if anyone can mess that up, you'll have a problem. No problem! I ordered the original with cheddar and lettuce, tomato, raw red onion and pickles with avocado. It was delicious! The onion rings are a must get because they are perfectly cooked. If you're here with someone I wouldn't get more than 1 side because it's a lot and filling. We ordered the sweet potato fries too but couldn't finish them. My girlfriend tried the Shroom burger because she's a veg but it seemed the most popular veg item was the black bean but she wanted to try the shroom and it apparently had no taste, not tasted bad but no taste. A popular item is the black bean burger. Staff is friendly, a little too attentive but better than having horrible service. The only place open on July 4th! Got my burger fix!

Burger village has a really good beef burger. The fries could be crisper. The location is great and the ambiance is nice. It's usually not very crowded. The service is good, but it's a bit slow. Portions are fair, but they could be bigger for the price.

    (1)
  • Ellen S.

Deliciously and outrageously overpriced. The food was delicious, seriously no doubt about that, but $70 for 3 drinks, a wrap and a burger? HMMM....... No. If you can afford it without feeling remorse, go for it. If not, walk past it.

Such a great place. I generally do not eat meat but this place has some incredible vegetarian/vegan options. The mushroom and black bean burgers are very good. Staff is also helpful and the place is run very well.

A good place for a burger with reasonable prices. The Elk burger was similar to beef with a hint of gaminess. The fries are great value as you get 3-4 orders in one. The onion rings were a smaller order, but still delicious. Decor inside is simple and new. And they also serve decent beers.
