Every single time I come to this Taco Bell, my order gets messed up, or items forgotten.

Worst. Service. Ever. Unclean. Rude. They do not even mow their lawn in the summer or shovel in the winter. This place is a blight on the neighborhood because of horrific management. if you go, do the drive through, or you will wait in line inside no less than 20 minutes.

They should pave over this suppurating sore, this blight on my community and just add it to the Spectrum's parking lot. I live directly across the street from this den of filthy; slack jawed; toothless; bootless; feckless; fruitless; unavailing good-for-nothings. Not only should you never eat there, you should sign any petition seeking to have this place shut down to help improve what could otherwise be a much nicer and more wholesome neighborhood. That being said, I do crave the potato bowls now and again. Sometimes I like feeling pathetic.

Better than my usual experience here, but I drive through at least once a month when hungry and tired because, well, sometimes speed is more important than excellence. This visit the order taker spoke clearly, & was cheerful and polite at 8:30 PM. The chalupa shells (?) were rewarmed , so crispier and less greasy than usual (i,.e., than I like)..

Only getting one star because I am unable to give anything less. This place is terrible. I never knew someone could fuck up the worlds easiest job. Absolutely TERRIBLE, everything from the food, service, employees and lack of cleanliness. G A R B A G E.

This Taco Bell misses the entire point of being a Taco Bell. It closes at 10 p.m. for both the restaurant and drive thru, therefore missing 90% of the times when I want Taco Bell. As part of a company that pretty much openly markets itself to late night drunks and stoners, I can't believe that corporate hasn't done something about this. Also, this restaurant stubbornly refuses to participate in new promotions and menu items, such as the fabulous new breakfast menu. Sadly, because of this, I have to schlep up Central Ave if want a real Fourthmeal (or KFC, but really who eats KFC?), or relegate myself to the Holland Ave McDonald's.

Consistently the worst service of any fast food place I've been to. Recently I went and was told they were "out of chicken." It's a KFC!! That's all KFC serves! The Taco Bell half isn't much better, as I was told they didn't have several items I asked for. Another time I was given a completely wrong order. While the staff ostensibly deserves most of the blame, part of it is the location itself. Not having a screen that can show what you're ordering ensures that you'll get incorrect orders. Don't go here. Go to literally any other KFC or Taco Bell.

The food is always sloppy and the not made correctly. You can wait 10mins on the drive through for three items. Don't waste your money here

Worst service ever. Everyone that works there is rude. Never get order right. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru

  • Lindsey J.

The worst service! They are rude and take forever in "serving" you wow so slow the guy in front of me turned his car off waiting in line

False advertising: The Crunchwrap Sliders are selling for $2 here instead of $1.

Okay, so I am well aware that Taco Bell is crap food for cheap. I worked there as a young adult and practically lived on the stuff. I have since matured and my grown up taste buds prefer better "Mexican fare". My daughter, however, LOVES Taco Bell. It is her absolute favorite place to eat. Recently, I treated her to a day of epic-ness (by her standards anyway...): dinner at Taco Bell, drinks at Starbucks, and then we headed to the TU Center to see the Ed Sheeran concert. She was so excited about how awesome her day was going to be but was extremely disappointed by her dinner. First off, upon arriving at this Taco Bell, we noticed that they do not keep sauces, forks, napkins, etc. in the dining room. We both like to drown our tacos in sauce so it was pretty upsetting that we couldn't choose how much sauce we wanted. Are the customers so greedy that you can't trust them to only take the items they truly need? Seriously? That just seems obnoxious to me--much like the McDonald's that charge for sauce if you want it for something other than nuggets or...even worse...any fast food place that charges you for the cup if you ask for water. Secondly, there was an extremely creepy man sitting in the dining room. He didn't have any food in front of him and he just seemed to be loitering. The way he leered at my beautiful, teenage daughter made us so uncomfortable that she requested to eat in the car. The staff seemed really unmotivated and uninterested in taking our order and the girl seemed genuinely confused even though we ordered the exact same thing. She also seemed confused when my daughter requested salsa verde packets--even though they had plenty and handed my daughter a generous handful (again, why are they not in the dining room?? It's not like they only hand out 2-3 at a time.) When we got to the car, the food was just so-so. It wasn't very hot and, overall, it was just meh. Then my daughter bit into her Fiery Doritos Taco. She immediately spit it out and stated that she couldn't tell what was wrong but that it just tasted off. I broke off a piece of her shell to taste and, while I can't pinpoint the problem either, I can agree that it was vile tasting. It tasted sour, metallic, and just wrong. My daughter ended up dumping her filling into the wrapper and scooping it up by using an empty sauce packet as a spoon. I will never go to this location again. I chose it because it was the closest one to our house and downtown Albany. Next time, I will drive up to Central Ave or Wolf Rd. This is by far the worst Taco Bell I have ever been to.

I love Taco Bell. I really. Really. Really love Taco Bell over all fast food options because it's also easily vegetarian friendly if the need may arise. For most of my adult cooking life, I have lived within a mile of Taco Bell. I've seen it all, the consistently mediocre, the sometimes out of the park good but most of the time fluxuating quality, and then... there's this one on Delaware. Why is it the worst Taco Bell I've been to this side of the Mississippi (and I mean that): The food is at such a considerably lower quality and standard even for Taco Bell's usual standard. They don't make their food right. Occasionally I'll get food with extra or missing ingredients, other ingredients, or just haphazardly thrown together depending on whether whoever on the line is feeling generous or daydreaming about not being at Taco Bell and instead in bed, eating pie, watching cartoons. The Taco Bell portion of the KFC combo is terrible. I can't speak for the KFC side of it, but lets face it, if you screw up chicken, you're doing something wrong. Really wrong. Wait. Wait. They could here. That's saying something. Alternative options: Go to any other place to get a burrito. There's plenty of them. Or go to the one on central (about a 10-15 minute drive), or by HVCC... both of which are significantly better, make better taco bell food, and... Aren't terrible.

So grimy! Go through the drive through so you don't see how nasty it is inside!

I agree with the two earlier reviews, but I've found that you can reduce your wait time by using the drive-thru. It also helps if you tell the kid in the back seat to scream while you're placing his order. After all, that's the only reason you're here! Screaming makes the staff become very attentive. They still screw up the order, but they screw it up faster.

i hate that this place is so close to our house. it becomes one of those 'we are too late and too tired to cook' places. this makes me all put out that cardona's closes at 7/7:30ish. it is usually when coming back from a disgruntled walk finding cardona's closed and me losing the arguement for dining at my lihn or ordering from lou bea's or ichiban to be delivered....(i start to mention all of the options at this point but kenz is Not to be swayed. she wants to eat at home and play the wii. the call of Zelda is too strong) so i give in and we get taco bell (or kfc once in a while for kenz, i won't eat their chicken. i am being kind and not going on an animal rights activist rant right now. but i will say that i cheered the girl in the bikini in front of the store protesting the other day). my complaining is not to say that i don't appreciate cheap tacos. i do! taco bell happens to be my favorite fast food (maybe because they use tvp to pad their meat and that doesn't make me too sad). however! the service at this place is slower than backwards. and they mess up our order every single time. how the hell do you mess up a taco order? one chalupa, no salsa, two crunchy tacos, one nacho supreme no tomatoes and a drink. and yet if we don't check the bags we either get entirely the wrong order or they don't hold any of the requests. and this would be after waiting for 15 minutes to get it. i know, what do i expect from a fast food place? (my first jobs were at places like this when i was 16 so i Do expect good service. it really isn't hard to do things like this well you know.) but, the other taco bell in the city is worse, i actually called corporate on them once from the nasty treatment a woman at the counter gave us. 10.10.07 update - they are now solely kfc (even tho the taco bell sign is there). i think they should just close down. i went here the other night as i was exhausted and hopped up on allergy meds and just wanted a quick taco. alas, nasty chicken it was to be. but even that was an ordeal!! 'we are outta thighs' i was told. there was a huge pile and they were out of thighs. i asked if he was sure (their white meat is always too dry and i can't choke it down). well, turns out there were just 2. and then my biscuit - 'we are outta biscuits. it will be 15 min.' to which i replied 'um. no, i think i just saw her take a whole tray out of the oven.' and sure enough!! he turned around and WaLa! there they were. and rounding the final corner to the mashed potatoes. he went over to scrape the bin and nothing. so he went and dug around in one of the heat-er-ators and found a large Styrofoam container which he unceremoniously dumped into the bin. and scraped me out a scoop. and after all of that, he chinced on the gravy. the only point of the entire meal. so after this taking a zillion years longer than it should have, i went home and ate a few bites, felt nauseous and lay back down. i woke up at 4 and had to run to the bathroom to vomit. they really should close this place down and put in a local area park.
