Gilda's is what I would classify as affordable upscale-it's not Krebs expensive but not Dougs Fish fry (both delicious btw). Absolutely love the pizza combinations. My absolute favorite is their sweet fennel and sausage pizza. The crust is thin and crispy with browned bubbles in all the right places. One pizza can be shared between two with an appetizer or two. Their calamari is excellent and slightly different from traditional, which I really enjoy about all their dishes. It is a bit cold in the wintertime, but this place is really a gem in Skaneateles for those who enjoy unpretentiously delicious twists on classics. My husband would prob want me to mention that their Kobe burger is one of the best he's had.

Great looking place!! Water views. Food is delicious. Fun and unique menu, with a nice variety. Casual and comfortable.

Super tiny place in Skan so if there is a wait, it's worth it. Friendly atmosphere, good tapas style food & nice selection of beer. Great alternative to overpriced Mirabeau if you've dined there a few too many times during your visit.

Delicious tapas style restaurant with the best wine list of any of the restaurants in the area. Lovely views of the lake, bright and airy decor with excellent and knowledgeable servers. I wouldn't recommend the pizzas (they were too dry for my liking), but the other options were delicious. I especially liked the arancini, meatballs, calamari. I do wish they had a slightly more expansive tapas menu (as opposed to just a wide range of crostini/pizza

This place was great! We went here recently with some friends and had a wonderful time. First, the food was excellent. I'd definitely recommend the pizzas (we had the soppressata as well as the sweet fennel sausage - both were great). The hummus was good, and generously sized. The figs with speck were surprisingly tasty. The only thing I didn't really care for were the crostini - they weren't bad, they just seemed a little overpriced for what they were. The service was outstanding. We sat at the bar, which is normally a drag at some restaurants, but the bartender was super nice and really helpful with our meals. He was attentive, but knew when to hang back and just let us chat without interruption. The only thing I'd change about the bar is I would like the chairs to have backs. They were a little uncomfortable, especially when so close to other people, because I had nothing to brave myself against to avoid touching the people around me. Overall, great experience. We will definitely put this on the list for a re-visit.

This restaurant is a small place with a big taste! My boyfriend and I stopped in to have a quick bite, expecting to wait a while to eat, however they sat us within 10 minutes. We loved sitting at the bar, where you can see the chefs prepare the food through a window to the kitchen. The menu consists of small plates that pack a tasty punch! We ordered the hummus and flatbread which was warm and so delicious, the veal meatballs were out of this world, and the Parma Pizza was absolutely perfect! Such an awesome meal for a very fair price. We will absolutely return to this gem.

Adorable place with fresh, delicious food. Try the pizza dough sandwiches - like a crispy, thin-crusted calzone! Everything prepared fresh and tastes great. Plenty of vegetarian options in appetizers and mains. Good but small beer and wine list.

I had lunch at Gilda's while visiting my mother, and I have to say that their pizzas are, hands-down, the best I've had in years. Perfectly crisp crust, slightly sweet but tangy tomato sauce, and just the right ratio of cheese to toppings. Try the sausage if you visit; simply delicious!

Had lunch on Friday. Food was delicious, waitress was pleasant and helpful. But the food was SLOOOW in arriving. I'd go back for the food, but I hope the time isn't typical.

Very friendly staff, small cozy seating area with bar that seats 7. Started with the special sangria(blueberry) they were amazing. First food was the calamari, loved it. Next we split the special Panuozzo, Italian grinder and also the mushroom pizza. The bread on the Panuozzo is awesome, light and airy and not too filling. Get whatever you in the middle but it's a must try!! The pizza was also delicious. We love blue water across the street but this is so worth a try. It's a new regular for us when in town.

Very accommodating even though the place was very small and packed. We sat at the bar and ordered the Arancini, which are deep fried risotto balls stuffed with fontina cheese and topped with tomato sauce and fresh grated parm. One word: heaven. Next we had the pizza with arugula and prosciutto, this was also great and the crust was perfectly soft and crispy at the same time. We had stopped here on our way home on a road trip so I don't know if I'll be back in the area, but if I am I will definitely come here again.

Wow! This place is wonderful!! My husband and I enjoyed some fantastic food and service at Gilda's. You must try the mushroom crostini and sweet fennel pizza. The pizza crust had the perfect amount of crisp and no grease despite having sausage and cheese. I wanted to have more of the mushroom crostini. We also had the beet, spinach and goat cheese salad which was fabulous as well. I saw amazing looking dishes being delivered to other tables as well... I only wish I had more room in my stomach! And we finished with dessert- a rich chocolate mousse and the salted chocolate chip cookie... Which was like the best cookie I've ever eaten. Kosher salt sprinkled on top a warmed up gooey chocolate cookie. Delish!! Can't wait to visit this place again. Also, great staff- we sat at the bar and Pete took great care of us. We were visiting the town as a possible place to move and he was so personable and gave us some great tips.

Our waitress was great. I came with my family for dinner. The crostini were my favorite part (the white bean and caponata) and the calamari were ok- I've had better. We also tried the quinoa salad and thought it was very good. I liked the arancini- they used a risotto for the inside which made them super creamy. Overall, nice atmosphere and different foods- I would recommend it to anyone who likes trying new things.

After a full day of boating the lake we parked over by the city hall and easily walked to to Gilda's. A table just opened up and the very friendly staff cleaned the table and sat us. We started with the shrimp and risotto balls. Awesome. Then had we had a margherita pizza. Awesome. The sangria was great and the local hard cider was pretty good. I would go again.

We got take out from Gilda's last night. The Margarita pizza did not have any cheese on it. The shrimp pizza had 2 small pieces of shrimp on each slice. Lastly, the side order of Brussels sprouts, that use to feed 2, barely fed one( but the flavor was great). So disappointing and won't go back.

Bottom line, Gilda's is delicious! I have tried several items on their menu, my favorites include the brussels sprouts and risotto balls. I wasn't keen on the eggplant carbonara, but that is because I'm not a fan of sweet fruit in my savory dishes. Lastly, the margarita and mushroom pizzas are out of this world. They use patisserie dough and it makes such an outstanding thin crust pizza that is to die for. Gilda's is also very reasonable with generous portions. You will be happy you tried this fantastic spot.

Ate at Gilda's a few week ago. I don't know if the place is wearing off for me, or if they've genuinely slipped a little, but I had to knock a star off. It seems a little too pretentious now for a place that serves personal pizzas as the main fare.

We lucked into lunch at Gilda's. the BEST meal - we were a big group of 11 and had already had an athletic morning - sat at two tables and were well taken care of. i think we tried everything on the menu - and absolutely everything was great. Yes the pizza crust is not paper thin but all ingredients are primo and the crust was very light. I'm still dreaming about the shrimp, the white bean toasts, and was tempted to order a second salad. Desserts fab also. Wish we could have gone for dinner, I know we would have another AAA.

Margarita Pizza was amazing. I taught size was perfect but the price was too high. Perfect amount of cheese and recipe is banging. Best I had in Syracuse in a long time. Ambience was nice and liked the decor. Perfect fit for the neighborhood. good job guys.

We had a chopped salad and the Brussels sprout pizza. Both were excellent. The pizza was about as good as it gets. Perfectly done crust, not too oily, quality cheese perfectly prepared. They also have a Nice wine selection and small beer selection. The small plates looked great and everyone around us seemed to be happy with their choices. The staff is excellent. I will be back!

Cute spot, delicious food, and great service! We split a salad and the Brussels sprouts and fennel pizza... Everything was great! Will be back here for sure!

Had a late lunch there today. Mixed review! Service was fine, ambiance was great, and the sangria, tasty. The salad was fine, and the shrimp, and white bean toast small plates were excellent -- really tasty -- but the pizza, to my taste, was not good at all. The brussel sprouts were a tad undercooked, but the real problem was the crust -- it was soft and bread-like and quite oily, a style of pizza some might like, but is my least favorite (tasted like pizza ingredients slapped on garlic nan (not that I have anything against garlic nan)). I would not order another pizza there, but I would go back and combine other small plates.

This was a fantastic find, right on the edge of Lake Skeneateles. My partner and I went yesterday afternoon for lunch, and we were surprised to find that Gilda's is much more than a "pizza" restaurant. Our meal consisted of (what I would call) Contemporary-American Tapas -- mostly vegan and vegetarian, and EXTREMELY tasty. The atmosphere is, suitably, contemporary, and the service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. I'm already looking forward to going back!

We tried Gilda's last night for the first time... very pleased with the food. Loved the shrimp small plate & the pizzas. The chocolate dessert was one of the best we've ever had. We had a group of 8 and everyone got to taste a little of everything. Great service (thanks, Denise!) and ambiance. A little noisy, but fun and energetic. Wonderful addition to the Skaneateles dining scene.
