I've been working on 5th Avenue for 2 years now and I get a Penne ala Vodka with Shrimp from here at least 3 times a week. Their service is great, their food is awesome, they NEVER mess up my order, and their staff is super friendly. Penne ala vodka is the best in this area. Chicken parm is pretty good too.

Ordered a $3.80 slice of sausage which is expensive even for NYC. Got back to my office and found a white hair on the slice (I have brown). Went back to either get my money back or a new slice. They didn't offer anything because I had taken it outside for 5 minutes. It could have totally come from outside, but they treated me like I was trying to scam them and did nothing. Pizza isn't great, especially for nearly $4. Can't suggest anyone to go there.

Dropped by for a quick lunch fix, the bacon and onion slices caught my eye instantly. C'mon, it's bacon! I guess this is a normal price for any pizzarias in the city- two averaged sized slices of two toppings came out to be $8.50 ish. The pizza was mediocre though, but I know everyone has their own personal preferences ranging from thick crust to Brooklyn style. Bravo's pizza was a little to doughy for me... but I'll come back again to try the garlic knots!

Pretty decent NYC cheese pizza on the go... Thin and Crunchy crust ... Not too oily... Not salty

  • Orr R.

Absolutely satisfied my cravings for a real NY slice. Perfect crisp crust, tangy sauce, gooey cheese, not a sloppy unstructured mess. Garlic knots were on point.

As a native New Yorker, I surely can appreciate a good ol' slice of pizza. Bravo pizza is the epitome of that. They have excellent pizza, they usually make it very hot so beware as you chomp down. I stumbled upon this gem of a pizzeria about five years agowhile awaiting my film to start and having the munchies. They have two locations that I am aware of... On 42nd and 5th (Grand Central) & 14th and 4th Ave (Union Square). The store itself is relatively small, but who cares when the quality is good. If your lucky enough to find a seat, grab a seat, otherwise take it to go, or simply walk and eat, if your anything like me! I would give them a five star rating, but the girl on the register today was rather rude and didn't even give me eye contact.

Two slices of Sicilian and Mozzarella pizza at $3.51 each totals an utter dismay of $7.70 (includes tax). Whoa, there goes my food allowance budget for the week! The pizza were served piping hot to burn my mouth. It was surely overflowing with Marinara sauce which I liked that splattered onto my clothes. As a lifelong New Yorker, I am biased as I personally prefer New York style pizza for thin crust. The pizza contains substance but it was average as it was not deserving to attain a standing ovation for "Bravo! Bravo!" Cashiers and seating areas are in the rear, whereas pizza and pasta orders are in the front by the entrance. Customer service is okay, neither high quality but mediocre not to bravo about.

  • Dave H.

Better living through pizza. Bravo scores major points on presentation, with bright toppings that remind me of Pizza Hut (in the best sense of that). Thankfully, their pies taste as good as they look, and are light on grease, which could be good or bad depending on which side of the bed you wake up in the morning. They're a dependable option for the neighborhood.

  • Ari S.

This is the worst pizza I've ever eaten and the worst service. So rude. Crust lacked flavor, cheese was solidified and gross, and the sauce was gloppy and thick. Much better options in the Flatiron - go to Eataly or Forcella's, they wont disappoint! Bravo should close all their store locations to save New Yorkers from wasting their lunch and calories on inferior pizza. If you want really good pizza, Di Fara's in Brooklyn, Joes, Artichoke, Roberta's, Prince St, Motorino are all amazing and so much better!

  • Upasana M.

I ordered a slice of margarita, the pizza was very average. It was flooded with sauce, hardly any cheese, no flavor and the basil was no where to be found. To add to all of that, the space wasn't the nicest, the slice was skinny and the price was very 5th avenue. I would have probably given 1.5 star for the pizza. But I have to admit the staffs were nice.

  • Yael B.

So this pizza shop made me realize how much of a New Yorker I am not, I had no idea all the shapes and forms pizza comes in. The staff is super friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, and definitely a good bargain. YUM!

Stopped here while the PIC handled business at a local business. It was a nice convenient spot with enough seating and a tv. In the back there is a salad bar that many patrons were frequenting. The workers were very friendly and talkative. The pizza: Eh That's pretty much all I can say about this pizza. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. It resembled mall pizza. I ordered Pepperoni with BACON!!! and a slice of Buffalo Chicken. All their pizza looked amazing but the taste was disappointing. I won't be back to Bravo mostly because I live no where near it and it just wasn't that great!

  • Rob M.

The pizza was decent, can't hold a candle to other restaurants in NY. The service was horrendous and with a day in the city, I can't wait to get a few slices and this place single handedly ruined that. If you're quick for time and don't want to be bothered with rudeness, avoid this place at all costs. Good luck

I would stop by there often on Thursday evenings before my Spanish class I was taking nearby. Almost every week I went there and still craved for their pizza when Thursday comes! Their slices are juicy, and I think they're worth the price (compared to $1.50 ones near my workplace). Spicy mozzarella (Sicilian?) is simple but addictive. Good for quick meals at back seats, with group or alone. I still remember Thursday nights with their Bravo pizza with nostalgia.

Good Pizza.. Always! This Pizza shop has a variety of Pizza's available, from thin crust to thick and hardy, with many option to choose from. Bravos also has a salad bar at the back of the shop as well for those of you interested in watching your waste line (something I should be doing). The Setup of this shop is a bit confusing, but their Pizza is good which is all that matters. The best part about coming to bravo is, once again their variety of Pizza's available and their comfortable stilting area, with large flat screen TV and all, it make you feel at home. I recommend Bravo's Pizza to anyone, this is my "Go-to" Pizza shop whenever I am in the mood for Pizza and in the area. You should give them a try, they will be your favorite pizza shop (in the area) too.

Okay, so I try not to judge a book by its cover but before we walked in here the sign just said PIZZA. Shady as ever. My bf was starving and this is the first place he had found. You walk in and there's a really narrow walkway between the wall and the counter. But down the long hallway there are tons of tables that you can't exactly see from the entry way. The pizza and garlic knots were absolutely wonderful, and I can't say that about many pizza places. Looks can surely be deceiving. I would SO come here again and recommend this place.

mediocre. probably wouldn't be back again unless I was in the area and wanted some average priced pizza.

  • Lakes K.

Mmmmm! So good! I mean I haven't necessarily had a bad pizza experience in New York but the pizza at Bravo was amazing. I got the margarita pizza as I always do... But the sauce, crust, cheese was incredible. I will definitely be back for more!

My office ordered several pies for lunch since we were all in on a Sunday (NY Fashion Week woes) - and I was pretty impressed. The pizzas all had a seriously thin (and delicious) crust - and really good toppings. We ordered (I think) the mushroom pizza, the veggie pizza and the regular mozzarella pizza. My favorite was the mushroom - but I have a serious weakness for mushrooms. The entire pie seemed to be covered in a mushroom pate instead of sauce (unless I was imagining that and I just didn't get any sauce on my slice), with globs of some type of cheese and various slices of mushrooms all around. So delicious. The veggie pizza had all types of vegetables on top of it - eggplant, zucchini, squash, tomatoes - everything. The mozzarella was just cheese & sauce - the usual. Overall seriously delicious - would definitely go and try other slices (or to just get more of that mushroom pizza. Yum.)

Nice lil spot for a quick pizza slice. Though it is a very small place, the price to size ratio is reasonable. Good NY pizza!!

Came here only twice and I'm already won over. Pizza is fresh and the seating area is nice and cozy. Price is kind of expensive but definitely worth the money. Plan on coming back real soon!!

Soooo good. I got the Greek salad delivered. NOM Came in about 20 minutes and had all the correct ingredients. It was really skimpy on the lettuce, so I'll make a note next time to them, but otherwise, gobble-liscious I also ordered garlic knots. I wanted parmesan, which they don't offer on the delivery menu, but I asked for them anyway. the sent juicy, crunchy garlic knots, with tomato sauce and cheese. I wasn't sure about the sauce, but OMG Soooo Good. Seriously. I don't know what their pizza's like, but if the knots are any indication, I'm baffled by the less than stellar reviews. Also, my deliver guy was super sweet.

Perfect crust and really tasty pizza. We got the white pizza and a slice of sausage and pepperoni. The problem is that they were not heated enough. Seemed to be more interested in spitting pizza out to move the line quickly. Need to serve it hot!

  • Farzad S.

The pastas and garlic knots are GREAT! Delivery is always on time - a huge bonus. This is my go-to 3 AM order-in spot!! Tried the pizza once, which, I'll admit, was not too great. Much too cheesy/oily. Other than that, I would definitely recommend. The portions are extremely generous - especially for the price!!

    (4)
  • Christophe F.

Guys preparing the pizza are not very talkative nor friendly. The pizza itself is not particularly savory. I ordered a pepperoni with mushrooms and the pepperoni didn't taste much. Restaurant is old with torn chairs and rather dark atmosphere.

    (2)
  • Howard W.

Good enough if you're craving pizza and don't want to wander anywhere else. A slice will run you about $2.50 or so. Been here a few times during lunch hours so it gets quite busy. Usually a hit or miss on quality and taste, but for the most part I'd give it a 6/10.

    (4)
  • Elizabeth L.

Friendly staff, decent pizza. I go mostly because it's convenient, but I don't think the pizza itself is anything to write home about. I usually get the Sicilian with mozzarella, and it's pretty standard stuff. Lots of other interesting flavors -- they have something that looks like deep dish pizza which I have yet to try. Minimum for credit card is $7.

  • Joseph H.

Pizza was ok but not traditional thin crust but still tasty. Thought the knots were awesome tho. Course my wife and I were hungry as late lunch after walking around a lot sight seeing so our judgment might have been blinded some by Mr. Hunger Pangs but we liked it.

  • Michael T.

I have been to other Bravo Pizzeria's in the city and they all rank the same.... OUTSTANDING. This is how pizza should be! During peak hours, there is always a fresh slice waiting. Crunchy crust, cheese melted just right where its a little brown and burns your mouth just right. ;) Their garlic knots are the best I have ever had, hands down. Smother them with parmesan cheese and im in heaven. 2 slices and a coke is $5.50. VERY reasonable. The atmosphere is great to just sit and eat a slice and go. I would love to try their pasta's and salads sometime but its tough because their pizza is so good. If im walking down there, im eating pizza and knots!! The end

Average pie, decent prices, about what you would expect for a pizza place on 5th.

During my New York trip, I ended up trying out 4 different pizzas. Yes, I hit up some of the more well-known pizza joints like Grimaldi's.. but you know what? This regular pizza place with no "old charm" to it probably had the best pizza of them all! The crust was super crispy on the bottom.. and actually fluffy on top, even though it was a thin crust. This was the pizza that made me go, "Wow, they weren't kidding when they said pizza is better in NY". When you're stuck in the tourist-trap areas but need a quick bite to fight off starvation, this place definitely is a good choice!

    (5)
  • Lili K.

Average pizza. The sausage pizza was too big and dry. The pepperoni was good but overall, all the pizza was a bit too greasy and oily. Huge portions, however. You'll be filled up after eating just a couple of slices.

    (3)
  • Roxie R.

Worst pizza place in manhattan. After paying $6 for my pepperoni slice and garlic knots, $4.50 of that was the slice I bite into my doughy barely warm knots to get a mouth full of oil. I tried another and the same thing happened. The slice was ok but not fresh ingredients that would be worth that price. Never again.

  • Anthony H.

This is my go-to when I can't make up my mind on what to eat! I work a few doors down and usually do not want to walk over to 6th Ave or to Broadway just to get a bite. Bravo always has a huge selection of pizza you can choose from. You will not see these toppings at other pizza shops in the area. Examples are: buffalo chicken, broccoli, sausage, green peppers, spinach, and more. There is also a salad and pasta bar, seating, and a TV in the back. Usually they'll have the news or sports on.

    (4)
  • Garrett K.

Each time I've come here they've never failed me. Pizza is always on point, heated up to a crisp and served to you shortly. The wide variety of veggie slices will definitely ensure I come back for mas.

I walked 18 blocks for this pizza in the *checks the weather online* 86 degree weather. That's right. 18 BLOCKS!!! My thought during the trip there and back was "this had better be damned good pizza" since I had checked Yelp for a better pizza joint to go to. Bravo Pizza came up on the top of the listings, so away I went. I avoided the urge to slap a tourist on 25th street during the return trip when he yelled at me about being in *his* picture. Oh? Well you're in MY city, and currently toying with disaster as you sit between me and MY pizza. So there. I get back to the office and open the box of my 2 cheese slices. That's right, they give you a box for 2 slices. None of this fold the 2 slices in half and throw them in a paper bag that's soggy by the time you get back to the office. They know how to handle a lunchtime rush as well since it took maybe 5 minutes for me to order, pay, and leave. When I get back to the office the thought "this had BETTER be worth it" flashes through my mind again, and I take my first bite... ... ...WOW! There's great flavor, and, and, it's not drenched in oozing grease, and, and...my god it WAS worth the 18 blocks! Judge this place by that last statement. It was worth an 18 block trip in 86 degree weather and a verbal altercation with a tourist. It must be good. And it was only $5 (well, somehow it randomly came out to $5.05).

  • Jordan M.

Brutal. One of the worst slices I've had in NY. Ordered a margherita slice. Was loaded with sauce that bordered on ketchup in terms of flavour. Lacked flavor, herbs, anything to make it taste like anything but ketchup pizza. Oh and it was $4.25 for the slice. There's wayyyy better pizza in NY. Avoid this place!

    (2)
  • Luis M.

lots of choices and the area in the back has lots of room for sitting - went there on the weekend which is clearly slower so plenty of room to sit in the back, watch a little New York One news, get your pizza on.

  • Meredith M.

Great for catering... We order pizza every Friday in our office, and Bravo was great to work with. It's very affordable, and the staff is beyond helpful, accommodating and always work with you. Because our order was so large, they threw in some free pizzas and salad! Talk about customer appreciation. The pizza isn't to rave about, but it is good. We also ordered their catering size pesto pasta, which was a big hit. We will order again!

I came in here yesterday for a quick slice of pizza. Some people I work with in Union Square mentioned eating there before and it being really good and inexpensive. When I came in the guy was really nice and friendly. I ordered a slice of the white cheese pizza and a slice of the vegetable, which he suggested because it's his favorite. Personally I'm normally not a fan of anything on my pizza beyond cheese but I enjoyed the vegetable pizza. With pieces of broccoli and carrots, it did take just a little bit more effort to eat it, but it was worth it. I sat down right below the tv and was able to eat my pizza while watching the soccer game. Their white cheese pizza kind of reminded me of Angelo's white cheese pizza, which is really good and David Letterman's favorite, if you've ever watched his show. This was supposed to be my guilty pleasure meal, but considering I had the vegetable pizza I don't think I did so bad.

Pretty standard pizza. The sauce is on the sweeter side, which I like, and the cheese-to-tomato proportions really did the trick.

  • Tim G.

My family and I stopped in here for some "classic NY pizza," and were pleasantly surprised. The white pizza was top notch, and the chicken and sausage rolls were pretty solid. Best thing about this little place: very comfortable seating in the back. It's tough to find a pizza joint that sells by the slice, but still has seating for a family...and this was just what the doctor ordered after a long hike from SoHo.

  • Stephanie Y.

This is my go to spot for pizza. When I am sober , when I'm wasted - I always love it maybe a little too much says my tight pair of jeans. Anyway, I live on the street - which again is not necessarily a good thing and I dig. $3 and some change for a slice with a topping but hey This is New York.

    (5)
  • Caroline B.

Bravo Pizza's not my favorite. The plain pizza is extremely oily and not that flavorful, the salads aren't very good and the eatery itself is dirty.

    (2)
  • Edgar S.

When the line goes outside a spot...it must be good. You must see the pizza here to appreciate it. I've sampled almost all of the slices they have and trust me...it will not disappoint.

After walking in central park and along 5th ave for the whole day. My boyfriend and I were starving when this place came to sight. I tried the "Meat Stuff" and my boyfriend ordered the "spinach and tomato". To our great surprises, they both tasted great, which we did not expect it from a fast-food looking restaurant. The crust is so crispy! The spinach one was comparable to the $22 pizza we had once in a fancy restaurant in Toronto. If you would like a quick yummy bite..this is the place to go!

I was in the Park Ave location and this little man that was apparently the owner/boss was being so rude to a Sales Woman. He fails to realize that he is in the business of sales as well. Stay away from this place, there are much better quality Pizza Establishments in the area that know how to do business the right way . and let's face it , the pizza is just not that good, and its over priced.

SETTING: when I work in the flatiron area on the weekends, either 1-im super tired 2-im really hungover or 3-im super hungry. or sometimes, just all of the above. when im feeling all three, I get the SAME EXACT THING from Bravo pizza. I call them up, order my food, run/sprint/cartwheel there to pick it up, head back to work and completely demolish everything all within my 15 minute break. real talk. FOOD: MY FAVORITE: I always get the sicilian slice with chicken and pepperoni. I get it EXTRA CRISPY. so amazing. the best if you're hungover and just want something good and greasy to make you feel great about your life again. the crunchy bottom, gooey doughy middle, the breaded chicken, crispy savory pepperoni and the cheese all on top IS THE BEST THING IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. I'd sell my unborn baby for this exact slice anytime. SERVICE: either they're slow or im just really impatient when I order from here. probably the latter. the guys usually know which order is mine when I step in and I just go straight to the cashier to pay. there's a $10 minimum for deliveries so when im feeling like a BEAST I order two slices (that's right) and have them deliver. don't judge. PRICE: they usually have some special with two slices and a drink. my slice is like $4.75 - but that's because there's about a million crap in it and it's the most amazing, greasy piece of carb/fat/protien/heart attack combo you could ever have while recovering from last night's debauchery. xoxo

  • Dan Q.

[cheese and tomato slice] Thin sliced, and with salty cheese (which is good!). The sauce is a lot better than other joints (I'm guessing it doesn't come straight out of a can.. well hopefully), with a good cheese balance. My only issue is its kindddda expensive for a slice which gears this review more towards a 3.5.

    (4)
  • Ernie K.

I used to love this place but the size of their slices are getting smaller and their plain pizza is getting nasty now (try fresh mozzarella. I actually haven't been to any place that makes it better). If it wasn't for the nasty plain pizza and smaller size, I would have definitely given this place a 4-5 star rating.

  • Anatoliy Z.

Amazing lunch spot! They've got salads, pizza, and pasta aka my staple lunch foods! Low prices ($5.95 for make your own pasta with a small salad!!!) Great quality food. Lots of seating with a great atmosphere (a bit antique with mirrors along the walls) Best of all very friendly staff. They joke around and smile as they prepare your food. Very uplifting to eat here!

Can I just say one thing ten times Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice Stuffed vege pizza slice at $5.75 stuffed a bunch of lightly braised veges and ricotta filling sandwiched between two super thin and golden crispy crusts - what's not for a health conscious permanently famished gal to love? And I get to practice my Spanish on the friendly cooks behind the counter while I wait for it to heat up. Make sure they heat it long enough - it's a thick slice. The free marinara sauce goes great with it. You (and they) think you will take half of the giant slab home - that's why they cut it in half. But you won't. You'll eat the whole damn thing.

Mediocre regular slice but GREAT garlic knots.

    (4)
  • Chetan P.

Really not that impressive. I ordered 3 slices 1) regular (cheese) 2) sicilian (cheese) 3) Chicago Deep Dish (Cheese) Could not taste the difference in them aside from shape. The sauce was not too impressive, and the cheese did not carry enough wait in flavor. Overall, I am not sure I will try this place again.

  • El S.

Great neighborhood spot. One of the best "grandma" slices in town. I eat all my slices cold because I know what I'm doing. Only women and Irish guys heat up their slice. Remember that, jackass.

  • Em L.

Pretty good mushroom pizza. I stumbled in for breakfast since it is very close to the 14th St. subway station. They heat it quickly, and the price is reasonable for a large, crispy slice. Most of the pizza looks quite fresh and appetizing from behind the glass. I'm not a huge pizza person, and this place did not convert me to any religion. I appreciate the quick service, mostly. One star docked because they don't serve hot water.

  • Liz P.

This was the first place I had lunch at when I first started working in the Union Sq. area. I really like their pizza, its very NY style if you will, large, greasy-ish slices that are served very hot. I've only ever tried the plain cheese and pepperoni slices but loved it so much that I don't want to bother with anything else in the fear that I may not like it. They also have a rather good salad and pasta bar in the back, haven't gotten around to trying the pasta yet but the salads were good. I usually get a slice of pizza and a side salad and I'm good for hours. Pricing is reasonable, $5 for 2 slices of cheese. Limited seating though and it's always packed around lunch time. Overall just a great place to grab a slice of pizza fast, huge fan of grabbing a slice when I'm hungover, I don't know why a greasy slice of pizza does the job but I'm not complaining. BRAVO, Bravo!

Plain slice review here. Pros: - excellent crust, nice and crunchy, no drooping. - not too greasy. Cons: - the cheese and sauce don't have a lot of character. - sauce is slightly too sweet. The crust is really the star of this slice. You could do worse.

  • Marlo G.

Bravo Pizza ROCKS! They make the best marinara pie in the city!!! They have a wide variety of pies, so many I've seen people from out of town take pictures! They have your standard NY pie, as well as thick crust and stuffed....but then they have things liked baked ziti pizza or chicken pizza! Unlike it's other locations, in the back, there's a pasta bar or you can get your standard "select your toppings" salad! Usually busy, I believe they have beer as an option here. There are a good number of tables, but you're going to have to wipe them off yourself. Enjoy sitting in the huge hole in the booth's cushions!

  • Albert S.

Good Pizza and pasta. I really enjoying grabbing a bite to eat here when I'm around the area for lunch. They make the best personal sized pies with whole wheat and multigrain crusts. Their Sicilian slice is awesome too. Unfortunately, it appears that they only make theses when they feel like it, which lately seems too be less and less. Overall good food and value, but they need to work on having more consistent offerings.

    (3)
  • Bethany P.

The crust is the best part of this pizza by far. I've had a couple different types as far as toppings go but they've been pretty average. I get annoyed every time I come here because they either rush you through the line (even when it's not busy) or the guys behind the counter stand there and ignore you while looking bored and chatting w/ each other. Overall flavor is good though. I will say, however, that I've had much better pizza that was way cheaper than the $4 a slice Bravo charges.

SOOOOOOOOO EFFFFFIN DELICIOUS. the places in NY that charge more than $2 for a slice is bullsht. however, there are a few places that make it WORTH more than $2. the crust, the toppings, the cheese, it's all so mouth-watering. whenever i come here, i just look through the glass and pick whichever catches my eye right away. it's always something diff. i love this place. they also serve beer which can only make me love them more. I highly reccommend for a savory slice of pizza.

I work nearby and hit this place for lunch about once a week. Quick service. Good pizza, not the best I've ever had. Not too expensive. Very typical NYC pizza joint.

I'm a native New Yorker. This is the best pizza I've ever had. I'm not related to anyone who works there. I don't work there. I wish they'd open a branch on the Upper West Side. Enough said.

Great lunch spot if your in the flatiron area. Great fresh pizza. The make your own pasta is pretty cool and the baked zitti is to die for.

By far the best pizza I've ever had. We went to New York knowing we wanted to try really good pizza and this place was recommended by someone at the hotel. We tried a few other places as well, but you really can't beet the pizza here. I highly recommend it!!!

Bravo! OK...that was lame. I passed this place on the way to my bank during lunch one day and was lured in by the awesome-looking pizzas in the window. You know how sometimes you look in the window and the pizza just looks old...like it's been sitting there for a day or maybe two. Not so at this place. I love the eggplant parmesan slice....breaded & fried eggplant on a crust, topped with fresh mozzarella! I eye that pie every time I set foot in this place. In addition to all the slice options they have choose-your-own-topping salad and pasta bars in the back. There aren't a ton of salad toppings to choose from - just basics, really - but there is a tasty spicy ranch dressing. They sure aren't kidding when they say it's spicy! My boring cheese, cucumber, tomato and crouton salad became a lot more interesting with the fire burning in my mouth. There is plenty of seating here in case you don't feel like eating lunch at your desk.

True, this is right near my work and I can run down and be back at my desk in minutes. And yes, the pizza is sufficient but nothing to write home about. The issue that this place needs to get their act together is their service. Usually when you walk into a pizza place the person asks what you want, says thank you and you pay. Not here, they barely raise their head as you walk in, you have to guess who has ordered and then again, nothing is said but a small grunt as the worker throws it into the oven. I do enjoy that they leave it in the oven longer than most. Getting my slices I head to pay in the back. Now, with two cheese slices you are supposed to get a small soda. The people working the counter barely even lift their head and if you don't ask, you don't get the soda. They don't care. Also, its $5.05 and if you don't have the five cents, they grunt again and get really angry and then get your change. All around horrible service and some days I deal with it for a quick slice but I'll walk to Maffei Pizza on 22nd and 6th. I might be picking at things and this is NYC where people are jerks but this has happened numerous times and personally I don't need to deal with a place that doesn't care. Bravo pizza, I don't want an ass kissing, but I would like a smile once in awhile. I know you have it in you.

This used to just be my pizza on the way home place. Then I switched it up and realized I actually like this pizza. The crust is semi sweet, the sauce is perfectly seasoned, overall a great slice. It's pricey $3 a slice- recessionary times I suppose. And yes, the guys have attitude, so would I if my main clientele were drunk obnoxious 20 somethings- cut them some slack.

The Margherita Pizza ia a thin slice of heaven. I wish I was back in NYC eating it right now!

Ordered a pie for delivery - came piping hot and very tasty. Generous with sauce and cheese! Crust had a medium thickness. Will be enjoying cold pizza for breakfast!!

Their slices are standard NYC fair - but luckily the very first time I walked in here I was in the mood for Sicilian. Their Sicilian slice starts with a perfect half inch of soft chewy crunchy crust and is topped with a tenderly sweet tomatoey sauce and cheese. They offer the same slice with fresh mozzarella and basil, but the regular Sicilian is so good I really see no reason to stray. On this island packed with fantastic pizza, Bravo's Sicilian slice is the only one I crave constantly!

I find that the pizza here is some of the best I have had in the City. I am rather particular about pizza, but I must say that I think this is one is not so bad. I'm more of a Chicago style pizza girl myself so I tend to favor Sicilian style pizza, but the NY style is delicious also. I am very critical about pizza, to be honest. The BEST pizza I have had - ever - comes from other states. Sorry NY - I love you, but so far you have not blown my mind when it comes to pizza... If you are in Midtown east, it is not bad...

Came here because it was close to work and time was short. Ordered the standard slices-pepporoni and a combo. The slices were good sized but not huge. Since I'm no longer 17 with the metabolism of a Ferrari, it was no big deal to me. Taste was good, just the right blend of sauce and cheese. The crust could have been a little crispier, but it was lunch and crowded,, so they had to keep things moving. Next time, I'll remember to tell them crispy crust. Price was about average and the seating is what you'd expect, not the place to go for a quiet chat.

This is the first pizza place we ate at on our first visit to NYC a couple of years ago. We go back every time we visit. YUMMY!

Bravo Pizza you are everything a NYC pizza joint is supposed to be. Huge slices of cheesy, gooey perfection with tart/sweet tomato sauce. For $7.01 you can get two slices and a coke...now that's a good deal. I've tried other pizza places but this is the best I've found so far outside of Jersey.

The pizza here is quite good, about typical new york city fare. Also, their pasta dishes are all pretty good, and I've tried most of them. The real deal here is the cost. You can get a huge pizza for about $17 delivered, also, their steam table entres are something like $7.50 and you will get a salad and garlic bread with it, where else are you going to find that kind of deal delivered?? I also appreciate all the paper plates, napkins and garlic powder, basil, hot peppers, etc that they provide in little plastic containers for you as if you were at the pizzaria!

I always questioned what the hype was about New York's pizza ... and I have not found the answer, but I completely agree! I took off one star because I was really looking for some pepperoni and sausage toppings for individual slices, and the seating area is so small and cramp. But the pizza was absolutely amazing! A New York must see and must stop! =]

Their slice of Buffalo Mozzarella is my favorite in the world. I visit every time I am in the Big Apple. It's always the highlight of my trip. Must go today! I did go today, it's still the BEST! I want to marry you Bravo Mozzarella slice!

Had a slice here today for lunch and it was so good! Very saucy and the sauce is a little spicy. I wish they delivered to my apt!
