This is my local deli -- I've been going here regularly since I was about five years old. Good bagels and breakfast sandwiches at good prices, good subs/heroes, friendly staff. Even on the busiest of days I've never had to wait too long for someone to take my order, or for said order to be fulfilled. If you're looking for a specialty deli this probably isn't the place, but for everyday needs or a quick bite to eat you can't go wrong here.

Overpriced. This deli is famous for ripping people off. Over charging for lack of quality. Being that they are located in fort salonga a wealthy area the owner John has been over charging for years. Honestly there are better deli's less than a quarter mile down the road for half the price of what village deli charges. Again this is one person's opinion. But I have lived in the fort salonga/ Northport area for over 30 years. There are much better deli's out there. Hopefully you will not fall victim to their horrible establishment. I don't want to give a star for rating but yelp will not let me post this without some kind of rating. Too bad I can't rate with negative stars.

My family and I stopped in for lunch and it was great! The staff was courteous, very helpful, and the food was fresh and tasty! They even custom made a sub to my liking. We will definitely be back.

Ordered a chicken cutlet sandwich with mozzarella and and Russian dressing on a roll. There was barely anything on the sandwich, mostly bread. I then asked for two house half and half's. The woman wasn't friendly at all the entire time, then when I gave her my debit she went to the back counter scanned it and turned and tossed the debit card back onto the counter. The place was very unprofessional and I helped myself to napkins in the bag. Will never go back again they don't deserve business.

Great food. I had a chicken parm hoagie and it was a great price on a large sandwich.
