Came in around 1 hoping to get the Sunday brunch but were told the brunch has been discontinued. They serve breakfast till 12 but we missed that. Had a steak sandwich for lunch instead and my friend got the egg sandwich. Nothing to write home about. Just like any other diner. I've had much better. I did enjoy the coffee however. The waitress was nice and appropriately attentive. Everyone in the restaurant seemed like they knew everyone else. I think it's a famous go to place for the locals of cape Vincent. With not a whole lot other options to eat around here I guess this is as good as it gets.

You will need to buy a pack of cigarettes before you go........ We stopped in to grab a drink and a bite, and holy crap, did we ever make the right decision... First off we sat at the bar, and were greeted by the locals, the bartender (Dave) and the owner (Mike) himself who came and sat w us-talk about hospitality & a warm welcome... Second-I'm an absolute SUCKER for creative "mac n cheese" dishes w a twist, seriously, don't threaten me w a good time. Our order; Steamed Clams. Scallops/sweet potato fries/veggies, & get this-SMOKED GOUDA cheese, CUBED HAM, AND FREAKING MAPLE BACON on penne pasta, the ultimate mac n cheese!!!!!!!!! We ordered these three, and split it all, which is what we always do just so we can taste more than what just one of us orders, and I ended up dipping everything in the cheese sauce. I swear to you, if I could've bathed in it, I would've, needless to say, I wasn't above taking a spoon and devouring the rest of the cheese sauce as soup at the end, and then licking my plate. I mean, when its that good, it's that good. I live in Clayton, and Aubrey's has now ruined me. Seriously, who's gonna pay for all my gas expenses? You'll have great customer service, a friendly-rustic-COMFORTABLE pub atmosphere, and more importantly, the food will make your loins quiver. I had to go smoke a cigarette afterwards-that good. and lets just say, it's a good thing I was wearing a bathing suit and a towel...

My daughter and I stopped in for a dinner. In this establishment you will find a relaxed community feel. We were promptly met by a waiter who asked us to have a seat where we liked. He let us know up front that although he'd been a server before , this was his first night here. He was very attentive throughout our entire dinner. My daughter ordered the Scallops Alfredo which was on the outdoor kiosk . We however found out that this wasn't the special. The board had not been changed from the day before. We both wound up ordering the Shrimp Alfredo with a side salad and iced tea. The Alfredo was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly, the sauce was creamy and in just the right amount. There were 5 jumbo shrimp which were also cooked perfectly. A very delicious and eye appealing dish. Our salads were a nice complementary size . They included greens, red onion, tomato, & cucumber. We found the cucumber rind a little tough and the greens were rather large pieces. The dressing seemed to be either quite fresh or homemade and was good. Our iced was obviously made freshly and was unsweetened. During the time we were there, the dinning room was quite busy as was the small cozy lounge area. Even though they were busy, service was prompt and the food was delicious. Based on our experience I would highly recommend Aubrey's Inn as a great dinning spot.

It's been a while since we've eaten here I was in the mood for some fish, so me and my daughter stopped in for dinner. Had the broiled haddock it was good with nice flavor. No complaints, serving size was good and value was also good. My daughter ended up getting her favorite grilled cheese sandwich and french fries. What's not to love before I know it was gone, she sure enjoyed it. The place was clean service was on point. Looking forward to returning some other time to try some more items on their menu.

My husband and I have stopped here numerous times on our way home from Alexandria Bay. This time, we were met with an attitude by an older woman cleaning tables, who ignored us, and wiped off tables where no one was sitting, meanwhile we waited at a dirty table. When my husband approached her, she gave him an extremely nasty attitude. Needless to say we left after addressing the issue with another waitress. They lost a sale, however, seeing that it is always busy there, we probably didn't really matter to them. To me, if you have an employee that is THAT unfriendly, they should not be dealing with the public. Shame on her for treating us badly.

Very good, not fine dining, but pretty good for a local place and service was good. I had chicken parmesana with pasta and can recommend it

We always order Aubrey's food to go on our first night at the river. It's become a tradition and always a huge hit with our family. Also one of the few places in town with Wi-Fi. Thank you!!

Went here for dinner, apparently on a night they are not typically open (Sunday). We ordered an appetizer that was pretty yummy (garlic cheese fries), but shortly after those were brought to our table we got our main dishes! We had no time to eat and enjoy one thing at a time. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. On the menu it says this item comes with two large meatballs and two Italian sausages. I received one medium sized meatball, which was not very flavorful. Another person in my party ordered the chicken parm and then chick was very tough and undercooked. We both agreed that the sauce was definitely from a can and nothing special at all. Shortly after arriving home from dinner I had stomach pains, which I would assume was from the meal. It was not very enjoyable. Our waitress was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the area (strange for a tourist place). Overall, not a place we would go back to next time we visit the area.

One of the two breakfast spots in town. Great cozy place. Very busy on Sunday. Go early to avoid after church crowds. Good food. Clean. Easy american dining.

In the tiny town of Cape Vincent, this place does its best to deliver on an awful lot of needs. We went for lunch and had friendly but slow service. We shared a pizza, which is really a kind of a large focaccia bread with sauce and cheese. It wasn't exactly what we expected, but it was tasty and the kiddos devoured it. Breakfast menu delivers on the standards. At night, the small bar is the focus. They pack in the room and often have singer songwriters performing. Crowd tends to be a bit older. We had very good service at the bar. Several beers on tap. The adjoining co op grocery store gets the job done for the town. Excellent meats; weak produce.

Aubreys Inn is great place to grab breakfast in Cape Vincent. Nothing fancy, just a good solid meal.

Great local place with comfortable and casual atmosphere. Great service and food! Perfect place to stop by when site seeing, spending the day on the water or while on vacation. In evenings bar is open with several beers on tap that change seasonally. Local bands and musicians often playing during the weekends. Bar food is also very tasty! =)

Don't do it. Horrible service. Not the waitress fault but the place had 1 lady trying to run the entire dining area. Food wasn't great either. Took an hour from when we walked in the door to get our food. We had to go up to the bar to get our own refills twice during the meal. I ordered their southwest burger. I ordered it cooked medium and it came out black. Burnt so bad on the outside it had that disgusting charcoal taste. I just ate my fries for dinner. You can see from my reviews I am not usually cynical when it comes to food reviews. I am really not that picky but this place really dropped the ball. I would grab a sandwich from a gas station before stopping at this place again.

Aubrey's feels like it has been around forever! There's not much choice in Cape Vincent, so thank goodness for Aubrey's. It's not "fine" dining by any means, but a local spot, staffed by longtime waitresses, with lots of booths and space between the tables. Breakfast is filling, and the muffins are housemade. The chocolate chip special this morning was delicious, and the endless coffee was a good companion for it. Grandparents treating their grandkids, fishermen off the water, tourists and locals all seem to find what they are looking for: decent food, nice staff, and a homey atmosphere. Down home, down east...

Each and everytime we've went here, our food has been really tasty. We always order a steak or burger. Good steak, good burgers. Atmosphere is comfortable, might get a bit loud in tourist season if everyone is packed in, always great service, I'd recommend.

Great selection of taps & bottles, super-friendly service. It was hopping on a Monday night in August, and us tourists were embraced by the locals. The bartender was embarrassed that he was out of a couple of their feature taps, so he gave us a couple of alternates free. Part of what makes me want to come back to Cape Vincent.
