While I very rarely sit down to eat here, I am a repeat customer for delivery. I must order at least two times a week from here because the food is very good and fresh. Some of my favorites are the chicken quesedilla with hot sauce on the side, and the mozzarella and tomato on whole wheat wrap with balsamic on the side. The balsamic dressing and lite Italian are dynamite and will go with many chicken dishes or salads. Since this is a very popular place, expect your food to be delivered in about a half hour to 45 minutes. Sometimes they surprise you and get it to ya in 20.

I've ordered from this place two or three times and have dined in twice and each time was disappointing. The wrap i ordered came without any sort of sauce, and it wasn't offered either. The shrimp entree I got was overpriced for what was 6 small shrimp over yellow rice for $19! My coworkers ordered linguine bolognese and it was awful according to him. So disappointing. I don't know how people like this place.

Their prices keep going up and their wraps keep getting smaller.. :-/ delivery is almost always over an hour.. I used to order from here twice a week, now I'm down to maybe once a month..

Was looking for a place with healthy eating options for my dad. I checked yelp for suggestions and this restaurant came highly recommended. The staff is very personable, the interior very clean, and the food was good and reasonably priced. Was surprised at the large portions. Got my dad the chicken kebab appetizer with vegetables and it looked like an entree size. I would recommend this spot for sure.

Okay so this place has been here for 20 years and I'm just discovering it? SMH to myself. Hubby and I went on an inpromptu date on an early Friday evening and were seated right away. Our waitress was fast and very friendly. I noticed that all the staff were young and definitely have the place running like a well oiled machine. I ordered the fresh squeezed apple juice and it was very fresh. Damn good I might add. I had the california in a wrap (grilled chicken, avocado, carrots and field greens) with some honey mustard. Nice and fresh. Hubbs had the ribs which he didn't enjoy too much, but the fries and the mocha java smoothie made up for it. Yup. going back.

Not bad for a casual family eatery on the edge of Mill Basin. It was moderately busy when I got here for dinner this evening, I was with a party of three others. The waitstaff was attentive but not smothering, the air conditioning was almost negligible but there were ceiling fans everywhere so I was fine (though not everyone was), the sangria was good, but I'm glad I ordered a small instead of a large. I got the broiled salmon steak, which was good, probably the best entree in our party, relative to a veggie burger (described as a smushed vegetable patty), broiled filet of sole (which seemed fried) and grilled chicken (which wasn't really grilled). The spinach that came with mine seemed like they took a whole pack of frozen spinach and microwaved it, then mixed it with some sauteed garlic, but I love spinach and I'll eat it sheep-style if necessary. The fries and cole slaw with the veggie burger were better than the burger itself. I've been here once before, about two years ago, and it will probably be about the same amount of time before I return. It's not bad, but if I'm not cooking, I'm usually going to prefer the best pizza ever which is just down the street from me anyway.

Worst chicken Parmesan I've ever had. When I walked in everyone was eating sandwiches. That probably was a sign to order a sandwich lol. The young women that work there aren't very friendly either. They need a lesson in customer service.

I came to this restaurant with a party of 5 to celebrate a birthday party and the experience was awful! The service was poor, the quality was mediocre and the waitress overcharged on the bill. They provided no water, and we had to ask l napkins and silverware. They never came to the table to wish the person happy birthday despite the fact that the family stated that were celebrating this. I will never attend this place again. I don't recommend it to anyone.

This was my second time ordering from them. I was pleased the first time. Once again I ordered for delivery and once again I am very pleased....from the person who took my order over the phone, to the the delivery person, to our actual meals..everything was fresh and delicious!

Been eating here for years but its going down fast. Higher prices, less food and quality is an issue. The wine choices also suck. The only thing that has stayed consisted are the girls with the nice Brooklyn asses.

This place is great for the healthy eater. Not many places can perfect the wrap. They have many times of healthy options. Very clean and food is always packaged to perfection. It seems like a family owned business as workers sometimes seem more like "after schoolers" Everything is fresh and flavorful. Good for the whole family to come. Something for every palette

This is a really great spot. The food here is good every time. Salads are fresh. The dishes are prepared with a health conscious mindset. So that equates to not as much calories. The staff here are friendly and I always hate that they're not open on Sunday. But I get it, they need a day off. So I usually order food on a Saturday or Friday instead. Just go, you'll like it.

Absolutely fantastic! It's beautiful, with a lovely outside space. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, polite and quick. They act as a team to provide great service. The food was incredibly delicious. I am trying to maintain a low carb lifestyle so we do not go out to eat very often. I ordered the grilled shrimp and chicken with broccoli and mushrooms it came with the option of rice, pasta or 2 veggies, what a nice thing to not have to make a special request for. It was easily enough food for two dinners and a lunch and it was completely delicious. My husband had the surf and turf with potatoes and spinach as his sides and he absolutely loved it! His portion was also dinner and lunch the next day. Really exceptional, we will be back!

My Wife and I had a very pleasant dinner hear last night. We have eaten here for years. The owner knows me and always gives us a friendly greeting. I had the Grilled Chicken over Whole Wheat Pasta while my Wife had Veal Cutlet on Pita. The staff is very accommodating and the prices are reasonable. I commented to my Wife that it is amazing how the staff works so well together. The only problem is that they are closed on Sunday.

This is an okay place for a vegetarian / vegan to eat with carnivores. We started with guacamole & chips, very fresh and delicious. My friend enjoyed his baby back ribs & fries, no complaints. My grilled balsamic veggie wrap (see my pic) was fresh, delicious and filling. It was packed with nicely seasoned broccoli, spinach, mushrooms, onions and red peppers. My side of corn on the cob was nothing special, just boiled from frozen and served unseasoned. The service too was nothing special. At around 5:00 on a weekday with hardly any customers the place was noisy. The staff mostly chatted among themselves and the food took long to come out of the kitchen. Nobody offered a water refill. And I had asked for no peppers in my wrap and got a lot of peppers anyway. Accordingly, my tip was nothing special, especially since IMO the food is pricey. LOL, I got the impression that the most important aspect of the waitresses' job is how they look in black spandex leggings, a tight black tank top and a tiny black apron.

I have tried the food twice here and the first time was ehh but I decided to give it one more shot. I ordered a Caesar salad and chicken wrap and one would assume that there would be some sort of dressing, well I got a sloppy wrap with burnt chicken and lettuce and that was it! The zucchini sticks were soggy and looked like they had been reheated one too many times. I don't know what went wrong here, the place always seems busy, and they get good reviews, but both my experiences were bad and I will not being going back here again.

Salads Are Expensive And Portions Are Small! Takes a long time for food to get delivered and staff is a bunch of young high school and college students who are unprofessional. I know people that do enjoy this place tho!

Good food! Good atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Great location to take a friend, kids or family member anytime. Great for a neighborhood place, saves me a trip from having to drive to the Slope! Happy that they deliver to Carnsie. Will recommend anytime to anyone. Keep up the good work! Cheers, Wilkie

I have dined in and taken to go from this establishment and I have never been disappointed. The food is consistently good, always fresh and delicious. This is my go to place after the gym for a healthy meal. During the summer there is a nice outdoor seating area to relax and the service is always good. Try the chicken bruschetta, it's my favorite!

The food is amazing! They have beer, and the BEST SANGRIA! Always get a pitcher when i go and if the weather is good i like to sit outside. it gets busy on Friday and Saturdays so a resveration even if it is for two people can be helpful. They are closed on Sundays but the staff is amazing and can use a break, so they deserve the day off! The food is good and not small portions. great place to come have a meal and relax!

Gourmet Grill is very busy but their food and service is IMPECCABLE! I LOVE their food. There's a wide variety of foods to choose from. They are clean and professional. Their food is also healthy which is what I like depending what you order. Everyone has their choice of what they want. They also deliver which is great! Try em...You'll love it!

I walk 5 miles to eat at this place, and it's worth every step. Service is excellent, I have never been upset by anything here, and I can be a tough customer. And the food is as good as the service. I eat the shrimp with carrots and potatoes. The potatoes are the best I've ever tasted, and the whole meal is exquisite. Damned, even the restrooms are kept great! I'm going to steal the building and move it closer to me.

In a neighborhood with like 4 food places, Gourmet Grill naturally became to the go to place for being the least bad. Less bad doesn't mean good. I guess attractive girls in tights and cool lighting seem to impress the neighborhood enough. (I'm mainly just pissed cause this is the worst veggie burger I've ever had in my life and its also the most expensive. Sigh.)

This has truly become the "place to be" in this neighboorhood. this used to be a place to grab a quick bite to go but has now turned into a great dining experience. The warm and convivial owners totally renovated the interior as well as expanded to offer outdoor dining in their backyard, highlighted by a beautiful koi pond.they have created a truly stylish look that makes you feel like you are in a trendy manhattan restaurant. Menu used to cater towards traditional italian dishes that were all grilled but has expanded to offer something for everyone. The appetizers are first rate, especially if your a fan of bar food....I highly recommend the buffalo popcorn bites and the sliders( there is a bar area that serves beer wine and sangria and the flat screens will always have the game on) I instantly flipped for the philly cheese steak wrap(they are definitely not stingy with their portions) and the sweet potato fries. My date went on the healthy side and had the grilled chicken dinner that came with two sides ....the price was extremely reasonable for the amount of food served. We tried hard to resist but had to cave in and sample the dessert bar .we left it to the waittress to decide and she was dead on....the apple pie and red velvet cupcake were top notch. Overall I would give this a rave review and has become my new favorite spot.

This is a fun place to go where everyone can eat. If you are watching what you eat, there's something for you. Couldn't care less? There's something for you too. Want to drink something healthy, there's an array of drinks to choose from. Prefer to get your fruit saturated in a pitcher of Sangria? They make that too. Service can be a little slow at times, but they were busy so I will give them a pass.

Wow, I ordered from this place before and was satisfied but I don't know what the hell happened this time around. Out of ALL days, when I have company over I decided to order from here since I had a decent experience before. But man I wish I had just stuck to ordering simple mexican. They forgot to include my blue cheese and overcharged nearly double for my chicken wrap. To make matters worse,The company I had over called to address the issue and the owner cursed at her. Boy was I embarrased!!! Come on, 25 years in the business and you raise your voice at customers and curse! Not cool! The only good thing is after trying vigorously to get a word in with this over infuriated owner he gave us back a refund. Everyone here needs a reality check and a customer service 101 class. P.S, The driver probably ate my chicken wrap.

Came here with a group of 7. I had the overstuffed spinach pocket in a whole wheat pita. I can't say that it was "overstuffed" at all but still very good. Everyone else seemed to thoroughly enjoy their food, and we had 2 pitchers of sangria. Awesome cappacino too! I love that it has outdoor seating! The service is pretty good especially since young teenage/college kids make up the majority of the staff.

I think i finaly found a go to place for take out or dine in when im in that area of Brooklyn. The mill basin area is a wasteland of dining options. Hard to find a spot on the street

A nice upscale spot yet casual and comfortable. I must say I was actually impressed didn't expect such a tastefully atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and all smiles. I tried the BBQ chicken with sauteed onions on a whole wheat wrap for $6.95. Wow very tasty and they wasn't cheap with the chicken. Great spot. A cool lunch spot at a great location with decent prices. P.S. I couldn't resist having one of those Delicious red velvet cupcakes as I was leaving.

My wife took me on a date to this newly renovated restaurant. The inside was tastefully done, upscale. This was not expected since they had a plain awning for a sign and is a very casual place. My wife ordered chicken parm for me and a chicken wrap for her. I must say , this was one of the best chicken parms I have ever had! The chicken was fresh and cooked just right. It just melted in your mouth enhanced by the provalone. Her wrap was pretty good too. She explained that this place uses only fresh ingredients and no preservatives. A real healty menu and meal. The staff was attentive and very professional. the only reason, I cannot give it five stars is due to the wait. After ordering, it literally took forty five minutes for the food to arrive. (I wanted to jump out the window at this point) This surprised me since, the place was not crowded and only had two other tables to take care of. But once the food arrived, all was forgiven. I do understand that making healty food can take a bit longer but they must work on their preparation time becasuse a lot of us have to get back to work. However, the table next to us ordered in advance and as soon as they arrived, their food came out. This is a good strategy. I must try this.

  • Rafael L.

The food here is delicious! I love how the staff works together to make sure I have everything I need, too. I love the baby barbecue ribs. Ordering out takes too, long, however. It's happened twice that I sat and waited for way too long. Still, the food was great once I received it.

More visits and the food with the service remains spectacular. Another thing to try is the personal pizza with grilled chicken, tomatoes and garlic. The sandwiches are good too. I had tried the Santa Fe and the cheese steak. Though the bread may not be for everyone, dries out and gets very hard. If you order ice tea, make sure they give you one from the fountain, unless you enjoy lipton cardboard-like taste. And speaking of drinks. They do have beer and wine, but no hard liquor and or cocktails. I understand this is a health food establishment, but I am sure your customers would enjoy some light cocktail with their food.

My husband and I really enjoy this place. It's a very warm and accommodating atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly; especially the owner who always makes us feel right at home! The food is very tasty, especially the grilled chicken with bruschetta and the fried chicken with pesto sauce; yum-yummy! Their salad bar has a nice variety and their sangria is very nice as well. Their outdoor section is beautifully done and cozy too.

  • Jennifer P.

I wouldn't suggest ordering in. It takes an hour for delivery and they rarely get it right, which means accepting as is, or waiting another hour for them to fix it. Food is yummy. They have more healthy options then your average take-out place but its not exactly "health food" as some people seem to think. Overall food is yummy, atmosphere is a nice. Service is a bit slow. Try the sangria.

The location is a little isolated if you dont have a car, but it's worth it. The menu has a nice variety that will please everyone, the portions are big and the prices are reasonable. They also deliver.

Quality ingredients. The cheese wasn't oily and the tomato sauce was tasty.
