I can't believe I've never before had a salted caramel mocha. Seriously, what rock have I been living under? YUM! Anyway, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I made a comment to my boyfriend about the Starbucks app, and the barrista offered to go over everything with me (I declined, but I appreciate the offer). I love that I can pay with my phone. The store was clean, I got my coffee quickly, and it was made perfectly. Piping hot (but not too hot) and delicious. This is really what I'm looking for from Starbucks, so I was happy.

Well, it looks like a good place. But appearances and reality are often very different. I used to go in there, when in town, until I experienced the dark side of this place, carrying Starbucks name. I live in a real city, not a narrow-minded village like Newtonville. One would think that Starbucks, a multinational company, would have a more cosmopolitan approach, and would try to inculcate that in the folk who work there, no matter how young and immature, or older (and immature) they might be. This particular establishment is run like a little village, and would never survive in a real city.The staff has its 'friends', who it treats one way. Then the rest of us. The manager, Ms.Victoria, is extremely biased against men beyond a certain age and makes no bones about showing it--depending on how the mood strikes her. One could correctly call her an aegist. Very unprofessional, rude, and immature. She needs to grow up. It's 2015 and immature, young girls are aegist/racist ? and managing anything ? Maybe she should concentrate first on managing herself ? and the expression of her aegist 'feelings' ? And follow the laws in the country because any form of discrimination is illegal in this country, by the way. Even if you think you can get slimingly away with it. I already tried to take this up with Starbucks central (with specific detailed examples) but no response from the 'district manager' who I therefore assume is tight with the manager. I've seen her hanging and yukking it up with the DM (who is in the age range of men she is willing to be civil to), So she may be dating him for all I know. I don't know, but that is a possibility. Lovely----quite a conflct of interest. In addition, the joint isn't properly managed. The staff acts like they are listening to your order, then they mess it up. I would say in my time there, they got it right 1 out of 3 times, That's a 33.33% succcess rate. They also don't understand the concept of inventory management---you get what they have in stock ! The interesting thing is that I have to feel uncomfortable in going in there when it's the manager (and her little devoted chronies) who should be held accountable and let go for such outrageous behavior. As to Starbucks as a whole, they don't seem to care about my business----so they aren't getting it. As I said, I never go in there anymore and have only one word for the place which is YUK. Unless you are one of the 'friends' of the management and the 'right' age--- Buyer Beware.

I rarely see a more dedicated staff. They are very friendly and very efficient. The manager, Victoria runs a smooth operation. Great food, great drinks and inviting environment. It will be hard to drive by.

When I'm in town, I always stop by this Starbucks. There's nothing remarkable about this location. But they do have some outdoor seating in the summer. The place just has nice seating inside, good baristas and a comfortable vibe.

I just hate Starbucks but sometimes I have to suck it up for a networking meeting. I asked for a large Vanilla Roobios tea (yes, large). It tasted funky and half way though I realized why: they used one Vanilla Roobios tea bag and one Passion Fruit tea bag. Bleeeeh. I also do not believe that the honey they offer is actually honey.
