If you just want Jamaican Beef patties, vegies or chicken this is the best place in the US outside Jamaica. The bread putting is to die for. and the customer service is great! always willing to help you and serve you. Just be polite : ) I give this place 2 thumbs up no bathroom no problem.

If you're looking for a delicious way to satisfy your hunger for many hours, their veggie, chicken and beef patties are $3 each and come with coco bread. Grab a DG ginger beer while you're at it.

The sad thing about this is that I love this place when it comes to parties and cocoa bread. They make the best cocoa bread in life but unfortunately their customer service and professionalism sucks. I was very very disappointed when I placed an order 48 hours in advanced like they asked me to and when I went to pick it up they said they forgot. I think that is very careless and disrespectful as a business.

Excellent patties and coco breads - their customer service not so much. I live in Los Angeles - my mom's still holding it down in the Bronx. Having enjoyed their patties on previous visits this time I was taking patties and coco breads back to LA. I per-ordered 24 patties and 24 coco breads the day before but when I got there the next day decided to up the order with an additional 4 patties and (of course) 4 more coco breads...my goods was bagged up for me I paid $80 and I was happily on my way...When I got home to LA is when I discovered what in fact I traveled across country with was 24 patties and 32 coco breads...WTF?! Called the store spoke to CeBe (she remembered me) and was left holding 24 -24 minutes!!...and then through the magic of her math she informed me that I in fact accurately paid for what I ended up with although she understood that was not what I ordered. So me sending a (local) family member (to make the situation right) would in fact cause her to "lose money" but when I come in town again (potentially summer 2016) I should come by there and she will give me 2 "free" patties and paid for another 2 patties "out of her pocket". Unacceptable customer service (if you can even call it that).

I used to go to the original one on 225th st. When I moved further down in the Bronx nanny years ago I still made trips up there just for the best patties in NY.nto my surprise I found out recently they have this one very close to my house! I can now walk and get the best patties in NY.c! The chicken and veggie patties are outstanding!
