This has been the trusty bagel shop for us when we're craving a bagel for brunch. The last few times we've been here have left us not wanting to ever come back... The last time we came it was a little after 2:00 and it seems as though they were rushed and by the time we sat down they already started to pull up chairs, mop, and put everything away despite us still eating. On top of this, an elderly man went up to buy a coffee and once served, the clerk loudly cussed up a storm and even called the customer an asshole out loud only because she was cleaning and he "bothered" her for another coffee. Today we come again, ordered a danish, and as I look down at it, it was covered in green furry mold. Very noticeable! How can the lady not notice and serve this to us!? Ordered a coffee and it was watered down. Employees look unprofessional and like they woke up in their pajamas and came to work straight out of bed. Obviously, they only care about their earnings and not customer service. Won't be returning.

Love this bagel place! Delicious! Very clean place, huge selection of flavored bagels and cream cheese, and muffins. My absolute favorite bagel is the sunflower seed bagel it is absolutely delicious and the strawberry cream cheese taste like a cheesecake it's so yummy on a plain toasted bagel! I really enjoy coming here! The bagels are always fresh and crunchy! Never doughy like most bagel shops in the area. And the iced coffee is delicious also!

This place is the goto bagel joint in Yonkers. A touch overpriced (esp cold drinks), but bagels are well worth it. The staff is extremely friendly and fast! The bagels are chewy and just amazing.

Love this place, bagels are always fresh, friendly staff and a hugh selection of bagels and cream cheese to choose from. Great prices as well.

Yum! I've sampled the everything, garlic, and whole wheat bagels. They're all chewy but not overly dense, soft on the inside but crisp on the outside, and seasoned well in terms of toppings. The cream cheese is excellent, too, with that sort of whipped consistency I love. Even the low fat variations and more unusual flavours, like strawberry, are great. The service is wonderful. Super friendly, welcoming, and quick. I've yet to find better bagels in Yonkers/the West Bronx, and my 5 star rating is a reflection of that.

Someone named R.H. stated that he/she gets charged for flavored cream cheese when buying regular. Perhaps this is what happened to me yesterday. I stopped in for 2 bagels with cream cheese and it came out to $5.70. Huh? I was in a hurry and typically get bacon, egg and cheese, but that seems very expensive to me. But considering that the bec is $5, HB is certainly overpriced. Despite their great tasting bagels, I had vowed that I would stay out of this place due to their always escalating prices. Also, do the same owners still have Highridge bagels II in Hartsdale near TJ Maxx? I have purchased my bec on a bagel and a toasted bagel with butter for just over $5. Their lines are to the door just like the other location so I don't understand why it's cheaper.

Bagels are one of the only things I miss about NY, and High Ridge does bagels &c as well as anyone.

The bakery I used to work for ordered bagels here everyday, and they would deliver them FRESH in the morning. When I mean fresh it was right out of the water bath, right out of the oven, still mushy and still hot after a couple miles of driving! Go for the EVERYTHING BAGEL. It's best with their vegetable cream cheese. I can seriously eat this everyday. And their egg bagels are delish. Even their plain bagels are amazing and I used to eat it with nothing, no spreads no butter not nothing. It's perfect by itself. And the people that work there and own the place are the nicest people. Really cool and down to earth. Total 5 stars.

Delicious bagels, large selection, many different flavored cream cheeses. The place also has a delicious selection of bakery goods, such as muffins and what not. The place does get busy and it gets annoying, but the bagels are worth it. The coffee is OK, but they have juices, milk and sodas if you prefer.

I got a tiny ham, lettuce, tomato roll and a snapple for the same price as a three roll lunch special at haiku....I had to tell the lady I just had one snapple because I thought she charged me twice..waaay too expensive for what you get.

Best bagels in the area and we've tried them all. We have eaten just about all of the types they carry. The whole wheat everything's are our favorite. The bialys are great as well, even though they look doughy, they are not, and are best toasted. We go to both locations in Yonkers and the one in Hartsdale/White Plains next to TJ Maxx. Service is good in both places, but the guys in the Hartsdale location are really friendly.

This place has pretty good bagels, but what's even better are their flavored spreads. My favorite cream cheese spreads are the onion & chive and if you're feeling a bit of a sweet tooth: strawberry. AMAZING MUFFINS. Try the pistachio muffins.

Long story short: I can't tell their bagels apart from Dunkin Donuts.

I love this place! While it is probably not the best place to get bagels in New York, it is on my way to work and the people that work here couldn't be friendlier. Their bagels are wonderfully chewy on the inside and crispy & bubbly on the outside. The cream cheese just melts right off. They have excellent service! Even though they are always busy, I'm in and out of there in the mornings in about 10 min. (even ordering my bagel toasted) The only thing against them is their coffee is pretty average. But, if you like bagels and you find yourself in Yonkers, definitely check them out!

OMG, I absolutely love this place. Whenever I visit my family in Yonkers, my uncle Joe always brings these bagels back for breakfast. They are the ultimate NY bagel. Soft on the inside and chewy on the outside. The homemade scallion cream cheese is a favourite of mine as well. Definitely ignore the negative reviews, these bagels are so freaking good.

I used to love this bagel shop and recommend it to everyone. The food is great and staff is generally friendly, but I've had enough with them overcharging me. I'm pretty sure the workers are just guessing how much everything costs, considering you probably won't notice and they don't provide receipts. The prices are all listed right above them, but I'm always charged more than I expect to be and often I have to correct them. Today it was busy around noon, but my boyfriend and I were helped pretty quickly. We got 2 bagels with cream cheese and 2 drinks, which rang up to almost $13! That is so ridiculous considering their "weekend special" is about $18 for 13 bagels, 1/2 lb cream cheese and 1/4 lox. How does it make any sense I spent about $5 less for not even 1/4 amount of food? I would have said something about the price, as I have had to before, but it was just too busy I didn't have a chance. I'm disappointed and angry, but at least my bagel is great.

I've been spoiled by bagels from Astoria, but these are pretty damn good

First off the bagel is very good. Being overcharged with no explanation was quite frustrating. Second and more important, hairs found in the food (and they weren't mine) broke the straw. I will never go back.

These bagels are always fresh, nice chew. If there are hot ones they go in the back for one if they think some just came out. Good amount of cream cheese. Flavored coffee if you like that. Very nice people.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
