If you're reading this looking for a place to eat... GET HERE!! No seriously, get here, NOW! (Unless you have kids, then go elsewhere) This is a perfect, cozy, delicious slice of heaven in Pine Bush. The regular menu and specials are diverse and crafted with care. They have a great selection of teas, homemade coffee drinks and pastries in addition to breakfast and lunch. The staff are friendly and engaging. The decor is mixed country and slightly antique. So many adorable tables, ours was a checker board in the corner. I had the chicken salad on a croissant that came with some magical green pea salad. I had their special tea of the day which was an unsweetened lemon mint. It was served in a mason jar and it was perfect on a hot summer day. I had 3 refills. My girlfriend had the seasonal berry crepe that was the size of her head and was full of flavor and not overly sweet. I had no idea this place was here in my hometown. I plan on coming back over and over again... but only if they have a highchair. This place is not kid friendly. We brought our well behaved 14 month old and we were told they don't have high chairs because of their space. Ummm, ok.

Nice little place, very friendly atmosphere. The food on the menu looks amazing. I ordered the French toast, yogurt, and crepe. The yogurt, French toast, and quiche were great. The crepe was not as much. I really enjoyed the French toast. Had a different way and was very surprising on the palette. I think this place is good and would recommend it just for the atmosphere and customer service. I will come back and check out a few more things on the menu.

Warm welcoming staff and yummy homemade food. This place is a weekly staple for us. The menu changes regularly based on what's fresh and available. Don't forget to pick up a sweet treat from the ample goodies counter.

I love The Palate Cafe, not just for it's warmth in service and decor, but for the delicious food they serve. Whether I order a breakfast special, a tasty trio of soup, sald and sandwich or a homebaked dessert, I am always delightfully satisfied. I am so happy we have The Palate Cafe in our town. Jerry and staff are really so joyful to be around. I look forward to my weekly visits to the cafe. Hope to see you there:)

A great little place, and just what we needed in Pine Bush. A little slow if you're used to Manhattan speed, but hey, relax and enjoy the coffee while your food is prepared. Terrific staff, and Gerry, the owner is great. Give this a try!
