Food good, pricing good and we've been going there for a couple years so the busy staff makes time to be friendly. Our favorites are the beef lomein made spicy and the sweet and sour chicken.

What can I say about Main Moon? If you come home from work and you're starving, and you realized there's no left over in the fridge and there is no way you want to defrost some chicken and make some dinner, and for some reason you are in the mood for some Chinese, AND AND if you live in Depew, then come to Main Moon. "The food will be ready in ten minutes", that's what the owner always says. No matter how many items you have in your order, they will be ready in 10 minutes. It makes me wonder how can they do that? Anyhow, I've come to this place numerous times, and the food has been consistently good. My usual is KungPao Chicken with pork fried rice ( you can substitute with steam rice as well), with hot and sour soup. The portion is pretty big and the price for the dinner specials are decent. My other favorite is the Orange Chicken with steam rice. I enjoyed the tangy orange glazed sauce and the coating isn't too mushy. I'm not really fond of their egg roll, there's not much flavor in it and somehow bland. I like taste of the shrimp Lo-Mein, but it is oily, so warning for those who have cardiac condition, better not eat this dish. I'm rating this place for the food only, not the restaurant. I always order the food for take out because I dislike the smell of grease on my clothes, and eating at this restaurant is not enjoyable. The restaurant is always cold (especially in the winter), and the owner never smiles. I think the food is better than some other Chinese take out. I'm very picky with the cleanliness of the kitchen no matter how good the food is. You can see the kitchen behind the counter and watch them cook your dinner in front of you while you're waiting. So no surprises. Overall, this place has a decent food with a decent price, but don't expect the any customer service.

We really wanted to like this place as it is close to our house for take out. The menu is standard and has everything that we like. I ordered the Lo-Mein which was made quickly and had a lot of fresh veggies. However, when I tried it once I got home - the noodles tasted like oil and had no flavor. It was a big disappointment. My husband had the Orange Chicken which was good and flavorful. The place is not pretty by any means - I did stick to the floor while I was waiting for our food and almost took a tile home that was stuck to the bottom of my shoe. Bummer on this one... give it a try but .. not the lo-mein

food is okay I guess. I have def had better. However the place is gross and needs some def tlc. Also the cashier can do a whole transaction without saying a word to you. To me he seems like you are just bothering him.

Ahhhh main moon. When I want a $5.00 quick lunch made to order in under 10 minutes this is my usual Chinese stop. Simply for one reason it's location to me! The food itself is good. There won ton soup is better than most, probably because of the thicker noodles that don't fall to pieces when they sit around in broth all day! I like there general tso's chicken! Saucey crispy and flavorful! Yum! Do it up! Give it a try!

This is a GOOD three stars. It's not four but it's definitely better than half. I got the orange chicken combo to take out. It was sweet, slightly orangey and mildly spicy. The pork fried rice had maybe two tiny pieces of pork throughout, but it was tasty and not overly salted. The egg roll was plump, chewy, and cabbagey. The place looks like a dump. The ceilings have leak stains and the paint on the walls looks like it was done in a hurry, and in general everything is a bit dim and dusty. I wouldn't eat in but if I'm really craving greasy Chinese-American food I won't hesitate to stop in again. I don't feel very good right now but it's likely because the food was yummy enough that I ate all of it. :P

I usually get the sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and it's always great! The portions are a good size and usually have left overs. If I am in lancaster and want Chinese than this where I go!

I've been getting takeout from here for 10+ years and it's absolutely phenomenal. Best takeout money can buy. The shrimp w/mixed veg. can't be beat!

ordered sesame chicken there were no sesame seeds and it was drenched and soggy in an orange sauce wanton was pretty soggy and overcooked, so this whole meal is in the trash and will never come back oh ya they are so rude to the customers its sick!

For tasty takeout, quick, at a reasonable price, Main Moon is a good choice. General tsos is tasty. The chicken and broccoli is consistently good. The staff is nice and they're quick.
