When I moved to the neighborhood 8 years ago I tried every pizzeria around, but none of them could hold a candle to formaggios!! The regular pie is usually the item I judge the place by and yes this slice fits the bill. The sauce is delicious along with the crust and cheese all fresh and perfectly proportioned to make this the best slice around! Grandma pie is my next favorite and then comes Sicilian they are all so good! My family looks forward to coming to my house for events when we order from formaggios!! The restaurants food is also very delicious I have nothing negative to say!! Awesome food keep it up!!

Yummy!! I wasn't sure what to expect from this unassuming restaurant with it's tiny, empty dining area. But as soon as the food hit my tongue, I knew Id found my Italian spot! The pizza was perfect. The sauce is made from three different tomatoes and the flavors are all there - sweet and savory. My mom and I split penne vodka. The portion was generous and the sauce was made on the spot. The hot sesame bread with special garlic and herb butter were also bomb!! One of the owners (2 bros) was nice enough to chat with us for five minutes as we raved over his cuisine. I'll be back!! Most likely tomorrow!!

I've been going to this place for years and let me tell you it is THE BEST! It's situated in a small strip mall & has a small, old school Italian feel inside but don't let its size fool you. Not only is the regular pizza to die for but the entree's are just as amazing. Lots of different meal choices that come with pasta and a salad. Everything tastes homemade and fresh and their sauces are always on point. Portions are big and prices are decent. Considering Long Island is full of pizza places they have a lot of competition, but this place is always the winner in my family's book. Definitely a must try!

This is in small shopping strip center somewhat quiet, with a few unrented stores. Any Yelper's likely zipped by it. lol Inside, nicely updated it has the look and feel of a well kept, small pizza place, nice enough to have a relaxing lunch in. Casual but nice. Massapequa is big Pizza town and Formaggio is one of many well known places just diagnal from the infamous Phils, and along Rt 107/ Hicksville Rd., at least 6 places, and just down Jerusalum Ave to Broadway are a million more! but they seem to have the fans to keep them all busy. The sicilian looks best here. I tried the plain slice, light and fresh was good.

This is our go to delivery Italian food spot!!! Hands down the best Italian food around for delivery. Last night I picked up a regular pie and 4 slices of Sicilian. OMG!!! The pizza is better than the Kitchen cooked food. Hands down the best pie on Long Island. We LOVE Formaggio!!!!

Actually, the food isn't bad. Occasionally, the sauce had that metallic can taste... But all in all, we liked the food. I stopped ordering after a bad experience with delivery . After waiting for 30 plus extra minutes for an order, I called to see why... And was met with a nasty attitude. Frustrated, I drove to the place to see why I was dealt with in that tone... Only to be met with the same confrontational attitude. After ordering weekly for years, I stopped that day. I've found another place that appreciates my business, and told most of my neighbors to switch. .

This is not only the best pizza in town but quite possibly the best Italian around. Cozy dining area with quick and attentive wait service. Some menu items that are must try's are the chicken Marsala, chicken parm, eggplant rollatini, baked ziti and not to forget the side of boneless buffalo wings that are quite delicious! Oh and the bread with the special butter is amazing!

I have been going here since 2001. I love this place. They are friendly, accommodating (I am a picky eater) And most of all their food is awesome! I have moved out of the area and will still go their because of how great this place is. I have never had any issues with them and never will.

Always on the look out for a good pizza place, and I found this one on yelp. Solid plain pie, and the margarita specialty pie is good as any. Looking forward to trying the grandma. Will update further

Formaggio is a pizza place in a strip mall, but it is so much more!!!. Best pizza, best sauce, and the pizza has the absolute best crust ever! The chicken francese is one of our favorites. You can take out, but it also has tables to dine in. Small, but nice and cozy. Clean environment and nice atmosphere to dine in. :)

The most underrated pizzeria around. It is located in a little strip in the corner but has been making delicious pizza for many years now, I always go for the Sicilian. For dinner the penne alla vodka is killer and would recommend it to anyone. I cannot wait for the next I've that I am in town to grab a bite to eat at perfect little pizzeria

DO NOT ORDER-- VERY DIRTY. Pizza was disgusting and when I went in to pick it up there were cockroaches inside. I don't know what happen to this place but it is gross now.

This place is a secret gem. Tomato sauce is home made and fresh. Not out of a can with stuff added. Have lived in area for a years and always drove past the "pizza" sign. They always look closed, but maybe that is the trick. Great for dinner and for pickup. While this wont be detailed, everything is good. Chicken parm here is my favorite. A compound butter they serve with warmed bread is amazing.
