The chicken parmeasean was better than any chain. I will say the service was not very attentive.

Ordered the salmon over angel hair and spinach. It was cooked to perfection and tasted every bit as good as the large city fine restaurants. Service was prompt and attentive. I will be making this my regular stop when in Eunice in the future. With a diverse menu, I doubt I will tire of it any time soon..

The Outlaw Grill (not Cafe as incorrectly indexed on Yelp) is about the only passable restaurant in Eunice, NM. We use the restaurant for business entertaining. When our other local dive (Debbies) inexplicably jacked prices, The Outlaw Cafe suddenly became our new place as we can eat their outstanding fare for the same price that Debbie was serving up barely passable stuff. The Fire Steak Pasta is an excellent Baked Pasta dish for anyone who enjoys heat to their food. The Burgers are all excellent as is most everything else. The only downside to the Outlaw Grill is the wait. It has always been bad, but today it was unacceptable. It took our food an hour to get to our lunch table. Door-to-door from the office (which is only four miles away for us) was two hours. Johnny Robertson, proprietor, will have to decide whether he is looking for an excellent table experience or bulk takeout as the takeout will eventually kill his restaurant business. He is making money hand over fist while he pisses off the table customers. For this, only three stars (food alone deserves the fourth star and those who have nothing better to do other than cool their heels should consider this).

I wish we had this place in ABQ. Simply delicious! The NY strip with french fries and grilled asparagus was delicious. I also had the balsamic porkchop with angel hair pasta and grilled veggies, which was amazing! My hubby always gets the chop steak with mushroom gravy and mashed potatoes is very good. Service is great, given the high volume of patrons on weekends. Fried pickles were also great! This is the only place my hubby and I eat at when we're in Hobbs (and yes, it is 30 minutes south of Hobbs). A++++

Maybe I'm the only one who only gets food cooked badly? Their baked potatoes are good.

Had the smokin barrel burger wasn't impressed. Chicken fried steak was good. The 16oz rib eye steak was a little fatty for my taste. The fettuccine chicken Alfredo was delicious! Best dish do far!

Their food is great. Some of the best burgers I've ever had anywhere. It is nicely redecorated (that location has been 4 or 5 different restaurants in the 6 years I've been here) and kept up pretty well. Friendly staff. The only downside...if you go at lunch, be prepared to wait a LONG time (1-1.5 hours) to get your order. They get really busy and very backed up during weekday lunch (probably since they are superior in food quality to most locations in Eunice, and superior in service/cleanliness to ALL the rest, and many in the general area). My tip...if you want lunch, call ahead. Otherwise, it's an excellent restaurant.

Simple Salmon with grilled asparagas is wonderful! Consistently. Every time. Amazing. Lots of great sounding things on the menu and friends have told me everything they've ordered is good, but I just have to order the simple salmon. Slow service-but the food is worth it.

Open 7 days a week, decent food, lower prices than average. Nice place, nothing to jump up about, but for Southeastern NM its pretty good.

I went with 2 others and didn't know they had already eaten. But, they had the jalapeno poppers (I believe the are called rattlers) based on another patron's recommendation & stuffed mushrooms. Both were fabulous. I had the Boison filet which was amazing. The sauce on my filet was wonderful. I also had mushrooms on top of my filet. My hubby is in F&B so he's hard sell and he loved it! Both people I was with said they would go back again for sure and loved the food. Our server was excellent but I can't remember her name. (maybe Carina) All of the servers were pleasant and really were attentive to the guests. I was completely impressed and I know I will be back. They said "excellent choice Traci" but I couldn't take the credit because the real reason I went was based on Jason's earlier review. (I know I've used a lot of adjectives but I cannot express enough how wonderful this experience was)

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
