Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. Some Pizza 9s are better than others, I guess. I liked the pizza I got from whichever one delivered to Zia Road, but the new one out on Airport Road seems to have no clue what pizza even is. This isn't to say I'll never order from them again. I mean, it beats Pizza Hut. But it isn't good.

We love pizza9 because they deliver and have gluten free options. We were pleasantly surprised to find out at our daughters birthday party, hosted at Extreme Hang Time, Pizza 9 was was they offered. Awesome pizza! I only give it 4 stars because their gluten free pizza is outrageously expensive......

My order took an hour and a half to arrive today, was overcooked again, I called the store twice and they said it wasn't their problem they were busy. I'm done with this place.

Sorry my family & I didn't like the pizza too much. We ordered a large pepperoni deep dish. I have to agree that this isn't like any real Chicago pizzas I've tried before. It seemed like a regular crusted pizza. It wasn't a bad pizza, but the hubster & kiddos thought dominos tastes better. The tiramisu was pretty good tho. The deliver guy was cool & delivery didn't take too long. But that's all the positives I can think of right now.

YUM. Hubby and I saw a thing on TV about Pizza. OF course we wanted to try a Chicago style pizza, but knew that would probably be impossible, but we found this place. I know it claims to be Chicago style, but it's not authentic, it's still very delicious. Hubby and I are pizza snobs, we often make our own homemade pizza at home but we found pizza 9 really good. We were happy to find out that they are building one here in Santa Fe, yay! It was a lot of pizza for the price, I was so happy with it.

Had actually never seen or heard of this place until I saw a flyer at another business. So glad I did. I ordered the pizza roll (basically a mini calzone) and garden salad. The pizza roll was DELICIOUS! The crust, sauce, cheese, toppings...everything was wonderful. Having never been to Chicago, I don't know if it lives up to their pizza or not, but I loved it!!! The salad was pretty much just a salad, but good. Would have been 5 stars, but the salads are pre-packaged so even if you make a special request (no cucumbers, no red onions, etc) you don't get it (and they don't tell you that.) They do deliver and the price wasn't too outrageous in my book. They definitely will get my business again (and again and again....)

for all you fucking idiots out there, this is not Chicago style pizza - its glorified pizza hut. you wouldn't know Chicago style pizza if it fell out of the sky and fucked you in the mouth. pizza 9 should be embarrassed to put "Chicago" in their name.

I usually go to the one on Eubank. Delicious deep dish, Chicago style pizza. Even a plain cheese, deep dish pizza is yummy. Friendly service. I'm not sure about the other locations, but the Eubank one delivers to your house for a small charge.

Pizza 9 is just awesome. Chicago style pizza fills you up right!!! They have amazing sandwiches & desserts as well. If you order, you better be hungry!!

This place just tasted like Pizza Hut. It was ok but definitely nothing special. Personally I like to taste the toppings and the sauce and not the bread as much. There was a lot of bread tasting in this one, which isn't my favorite. The crust really tasted like a deep dish pizza hut pizza, which if you like Pizza Hut you are golden. I am not fan and thus you see the rating of this place.

Good pizza and wings! Delivery was a little slow, but I honestly didn't even know until the driver told me. They gave me free dessert for running late. I would get food here again.

Order: Large Deluxe Deep Dish Specialty Pizza w/ 10 hot wings Cost: $20.00 The hot wings were wonderful but as for the pizza, it's FAR from being, "Deep Dish Chicago Style." It was still a decent pizza with SUPER fresh veggie toppings but the pizza was more like a Pizza Hut Pan Pizza. The pizza was relatively dry & with a greasy, but still crispy, crust. But if you get side orders of their Marinara dipping sauce (we didn't try it) it might moisten this pizza up a bit. As for the staff at the Gibson location in Albuquerque, they all appeared somewhat apathetic. Not mean or rude, just detached. Anyway, it was still a good pizza & the wings rocked & quite possibly the best I've eaten. (the ranch dip sucked but the wings didn't need it anyway) Lastly, the prices were pretty fair there & cheaper than most pizza chains. Pizza 9 also puts out some generous online coupons.

We couldn't find any place open after 9pm in ABQ downtown so we went on grub hub and located Pizza 9. Although this was the only restaurant open they absolutely did not disappoint, in fact it was some of the best food we have had in ABQ. The pizza rolls were huge and the crust was warm and crispy. The best part was the food is very reasonably priced, I could only eat half!! I would highly recommend Pizza 9.

There must be some Breaking Bad blue meth hidden in that thick, buttery crust because my husband and I are totally addicted to this stuff. It's a little pricier than most other Albuquerque pizza choices and coupons are rare, but their pizza is just so darned good, we keep buying it anyway. Service has always been friendly and they get the orders right and on time. Not to mention that I'm pretty sure that this is the only pizza joint in town that offers eggplant as a topping, and I happen to love eggplant. The meatball topping is also fantastic. It would be nice if the toppings were a little more generous, but I'm so into the crust that I sometimes forget the toppings are there. My dogs are accustomed to getting the leftover pizza crusts, but I find it really hard to share these. I don't even want to know how many calories are in this stuff, but it's so good, I'll happily spend a few more minutes on the treadmill to burn them off. I've seen salads and desserts on the menu, and the Tiramisu looks interesting, but we haven't been able to get past the pizza long enough to try anything else.

Good pizza and one of the only places in this area of town that delivers!! They also offer thin crust and do it well.

First time going there and I had a takeout of BBQ chicken pizza & cheese pizza. Even thought carb congruous mind may frown at "deep dish" Chicago style pizza, you can't deny me not t being able to stop from eating more than a half of medium cheese pizza in one setting. When a simple cheese pizza is that good, the rest must be great! My hubby gobbled up the entire BBQ chicken so I can't even comment on it. The restaurant is pretty much set up like a fast food restaurant so I wouldn't go there to dine out but I would rather have their pizzas than other national "chain" places closer to where we live. Glad I checked it out.oh and I saw Drive Through as well. AWESOME! That's great for this busy mama

Okay I was weiry about ordering, based on the mixed reviews but I gave it a shot. Ordered the Chiago Calzone, make sure to be hungry as this Calzone is huge! I liked that it is not greasy, I like that you have the option a of marinara or French onion sauces, nice and generous beef stuffing and cheese, I wish it would have had more onions, the Calzone bread is a bit too much, and found myself tearing the unstuffed portions off. Better than average I would guess, nothing out of this world. Delivery was quick to the hotel I was staying, and ordering online was a breeze.

So I have ordered here a few times. I called tonight to order my usual, and the lady, I believe Ashley, was very rude and condescending! I will never order from here again! Which is not good since I was a repeat customer. Just that one person made it a bad experience. I ended up hanging up the phone and not ordering anything!

Very disappointed in the food. Cheesecake was obviously purchased elsewhere.... Sam's Club maybe? Tiramisu tasted packaged with very little flavor. Pizza was okay, but just okay. The Chicago Style Italian Beef Sandwich was close to inedible. The whole sandwich was dry, dry, dry. Giardiniera was promised, but didn't make it to the house. We won't be doing the "9" again.

I was staying in town on business and decided to give Pizza 9 a try. The whole experience was a bit disappointing. I ordered the Wednesday special which was a large pie and order of bread sticks. The bread sticks were not delivered with my order, the pizza was not a true Chicago style, and the pizza had the same texture, look and taste of a Pizza Hut pan pizza. I was hoping to have a unique experience from a local pizzeria and not a national chain, but that did not happen. I will not be ordering from them again.

Delivery to local hotel. Ordering online was easy, delivery was quick. I ordered a thin crust medium pizza with mushrooms and green chiles. It arrived hot and perfectly cooked. Crust is nice and crispy. The small house salad is pretty big and has a generous portion of dressing. The raspberry tea is delish, nice & sweet. I'm very satisfied.

Decent pizza for a fast food joint I mean what can You expect from a place with a drive thru? Is it gourmet? No but it hits the spot and in my opinion is better then pizza hut. We would come here again for a quick drive thru fast food option.

I like this place. The menu has a lot of options. I like the calzones. The pizza is good too. They have a pizza eating contest every now and then too. It's a typical pizza joint, but it's good. I'd go back.
