I was very impressed with this spot, a hidden place among all of Alamogordo. I've been wanting to try it out for a while but kinda forgot about it until a co-worker mentioned it today, so we all went. The service was very homely and welcoming. The staff was very caring (honestly best service I've had in all of Alamogordo). I was torn between several things on the menu but ended up getting the Guaker Rocker (which was very delicious!!!). I'll definitely be frequenting this establishment more often!!! Nice friendly staff and good food to choose from!!!

I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. The bread roll was cooked perfectly and everything was all good. Except the chicken fried steak. The middle was not cooked but because this has never happened before I let it slide. Everything else was great and the desert Mississippi mudslide was great.

Don't expect fast service here as it's a one person business, but the food is made fresh while you wait and definitely worth it!

Me and 6 of my co workers went here last week. Four of us did the Humdinger challenge i have got to tell you that was the biggest burrger that i have ever seen in my life. I could not finish it because it was so large. However do not let that scare you away while large it was delicious at the same time. Some of the best french fries in alamogordo went along with this burger. Overall a hidden gem at the airport that i would highly reccomend if not for the burgers then the fries and if not for that then the pecan or blueberry pie. Check it out you will be pleasently surprised.

I was looking for a place in the area for my husband to eat because he didn't have a lot of options both in and out of base. I saw this on Yelp and asked him to try it and he said he loved the food that he ordered. When I came to visit him, he brought me here and we had lunch. The food is prepared as you ordered it, which is a definite plus! The ladies were very nice. It wasn't busy when we came and there were just a couple of people coming in and out but I can tell they're regular customers. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area again. :)

Tried to go there on the afternoon of December 31 and was informed, rather rudely, that it was a "holiday," and that they had decided to close early. The open doors and lack of signage to that effect did not give any indication of an early closure. My parents, who are locals, may give this place another try, but the surly attitude was enough for me.

We just moved to Holloman AFB and my husband and I yelped this place and finally made it out here for lunch one day! So worth it!! The best burger we've ever had! We ordered the Porky Blu Boy Burger (Canadian Bacon, blue cheese, and grilled tomato) and Guacker Rocker (Guacamole, Bacon patty, green chile, cheese) burger and crinkle fries. The burgers were big, juicy and hot. The hambuger buns were perfectly grilled and warm. The flavor combination was out of this world! I don't usually review fries but their crinkle fries were so perfect (hot and crispy). No precook or warmed up anything! The owner makes everything fresh so it takes a while for her to make the food but it's worth the wait!! . She did say we can call in and she can have it ready when we got there! I think we will do that next time!! This little gem is found inside the Alamagordo airport. Don't waste your time going to those fast food restaurants in downtown Alamogordo who claim to have the best burgers (green chile burger). They are so not worth the money and they taste so greasy! This place is da bomb! We can't wait to go back and try more!!

Fast and fresh. Very small menu, and what they do have is really good. The burger was as good any I've had, maybe even a bit better than Hi-D-Ho! Staff are very personable and enjoy engaging in light conversation, lots of neat pictures of airplanes and all kinds of local flavor happening here. Made for a fun early lunch!

Outstanding green chili cheeseburger! Everything is made from scratch when you order, including the hand formed burger patty, fresh cut tomatoes and the buns are an excellent compliment to the burger. Linda also makes pies from scratch - again truly amazing! If you're in Alamogordo between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm between Mon and Sat, you HAVE to have lunch here!!
