Argh, I so want to like this place! It's right down the road, it's got a ton of Mexican breakfast options (yum!), and it even has healthy Mexican breakfast options! I realize they only opened last fall, so I'll probably try them one more time to see if they can get their crap together. The first time we came, the server was very friendly but completely incompetent. Think: having to flag down other waitstaff for silverware, an Arnold Palmer made out of grapefruit juice instead of orange juice. This time, the server was not incompetent but was Not A Nice Person (I'll put that instead of what I'm really thinking). I asked for cholesterol-free eggs (because that's how the menu describes them), and she snapped at me. "What's that supposed to mean, cholesterol free eggs? You mean you want EGG BEATERS?" was snarled at me like I was an idiot. Speaking of idiots, what kind of a diner waitress doesn't know what cholesterol-free eggs are? (Or is rude to the people she expects to tip her, for that matter.) She was continuously crabby throughout the meal, when she could be bothered to stop by. She then went on to charge me $1 for the cholesterol-free eggs, when she shouldn't have. (The menu says that you can substitute egg whites or the cholesterol-free eggs for regular eggs for $1 more...my dish already came with egg whites, so it should have been an even swap.) Ok, on to the food. This time I got the Vera Cruz Chicken & Avocado Omelette. It was good, although they forgot to put the green chiles in there (I would have complained about it if our waitress had bothered to stop back by). The salsa is more of a taco sauce than a salsa, but if you're okay with that, then it's actually pretty good...a little bit spicy and a lotta bit tasty. The hubs liked his Strawberry Banana & Walnut waffle, which was piled high with toppings. The last time we were here, I got the Green Chili Chicken Hash, which was surprisingly not good. It was really bland, due to a bad potato:mexican topping ratio and a lack of salt. I've had the Sunrise Chile Rellenos a few times at other locations, and it is ridiculously good. It's not a big plate of food, so I would recommend adding a side unless you're a small eater.

Stopped by here for brunch with the family. Food is pretty much the same and consistent with the other restaurants. The customer service is normally what separates these places; and this place is definitely better compared to the other Egg & I's.

I recently came here and found a hair in my breakfast potatoes and the waitress and I both agreed the experience was GROSS! She took the entree off the ticket and brought more potatoes. I was looking for the manager, but the there is no one there that looks like the have any authoritative position there. I don't know what their sanitation procedure are, but they need to enforce cleanliness and quality In their establishment

Pretty much always a good place to drop in to get breakfast Greeted quickly upon entering and immediately seated. Waitress was quick to table, took order, delivered drinks with additional refill on the table. Food came out quickly. Cooked appropriately. Had the Colorado Jack Scramble (three eggs with couple types of cheese, tomatoes, onion). Plate came with your choice of bacon or sausage and english muffin. Food was very acceptable Prices are generally reasonable. Fairly solid restaurant to eat breakfast at when I am in the area

I would have given this 5 stars: It was clean, the food was better than average, the wait staff were professional, and everyone was friendly and courteous - except for the cashier. She was the female version of David Spade, except without the vocabulary, the class or the humor. The person that greets you sets the tone for the experience, and the person that sends you on your way is the last thing you remember. All of the positives I mentioned were negated by this young woman. I don't know if they read these reviews, but IF I ever go back, and she's working, I'll turn around and go across the parking lot to Spin Pizza. Too bad, because I really want to like this place.

It's not bad but it's nothing outstanding. The coffee is terrible, but I'm kind of a coffee snob. I ordered an omelet one visit and some type of potato and egg scramble the other. It's never busy so you don't have to wait to be seated, which is nice.

I am not a big breakfast fan so for the most part I can take it, or leave it! The Egg & I wont blow your mind nor will it disappoint. Okay I was disappointed that they do not offer pecan pancakes but other than that, it was all good. I consider it above average breakfast fare with cleanliness, friendly service, and decent prices to boot. If you go, try the Colorado Scrambler!

It took them 35 minutes to get us our food on a Thursday afternoon. Not only was the service bad, but I also found a hair in my eggs. Yuck. I will not be going back there.

Decided to try something "new" this morning for breakfast. We were a party of 3 people but the hostess decided to sit us at a table of 6 which was very odd to me considering there was plenty of empty seats in the place. Decided to just drink water considering the coffee is way overpriced. I chose the sunrise chili relleno that comes with ranch potatoes .( $8.99) The food was alright at best, the Relleno was very mild and was basically a folded egg with strips of peppers in it. ( not the typical yummy relleno's I love) The meal seemed like it was missing something,, maybe a strip of bacon or even toast ( does not come with toast,, which for the price of the meal you think it would) . The husband had the same thing, he seemed to enjoy it.. My son got the kids plate with mini waffles , bacon and scrambled egg. All he ate was the piece of bacon, More then likely because of the huge scoop of butter that came on top of his little waffle. ( we scooped it off) , his came with a drink and was around $4.50 not horrible for a kids breakfast. The wait staff seemed like they were "trying to be friendly" which is a lot different then actually being friendly. When I paid my bill the hostess at the counter seemed like she didn't want to be there,( neither did I at this point) . Would I go back? Maybe, who knows, ? I would not go out of my way to chose it. Much rather go to Jimmy Eggs where everyone is nice, the food is cheaper ( Can get coffee's / sodas with our meal at Jimmy Eggs and it still will be cheaper) .

My wife and I go here occasionally for breakfast. I was excited to see it open. It definitely met our standards. We have always had a great experience here. Menu is different but we haven't tried something we haven't liked yet. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I visited this restaurant with high hopes with my two kids. We were seated quickly. The waitress seemed very nice, but when I asked their soups of the day, she said, "Baked Potato Soup...and this chicken soup, with like beans, I know it sounds nasty but I think it is pretty good" (White Chili could have sufficed). Food came quickly but my daughter was missing her toast. The waitress said she would get it for us. It took longer for her to get our toast than for the whole meal to be prepared. I ordered a hot chocolate at the end of our meal, and stated, we would all be sharing the one drink (my two kids and I). She brought one mug and looked at me a bit aghast that I would want another cup. She left to get us another cup (again taking a LONG time). The food was pretty good, although I think a bit high priced ($4.50 for kids meal including scrambled egg, one piece of bacon, toast and potatoes and $9.00 for half sandwich and soup). I am willing to try it again, perhaps it was just this one server.
