The food was great. However, They lost two stars because my burrito was so poorly warped when I unwrapped the foil the whole thing fell apart and the tortilla started to rip right down the middle. Had to eat with a fork.

Had the chicken burrito. Turned into a chicken platter because the guy didn't know how to wrap it. His partner gave me an excuse that I'll have to be charged for another one. Alright food... not worth the price

This is coming from a Chipotle fan... I went into Qdoba for a lunch break and decided to try their smothered burrito. It was awesome. I HIGHLY recommend it. I went with a chicken burrito with both white and brown rice, both black and pinto beans, tortilla strips, cheese, and then the smoky chipotle sauce that you can use for the smothered burrito. It is definitely a game changer. I would still say that Chipotle has better ingredients but Qdoba now has options that Chipotle doesn't. I enjoyed how much Qdoba has changed since I last went there. There is no doubt that Chipotle has emerged as the dominant leader in the burrito/Mexican, fast-casual industry and I have consistently stuck with Chipotle. I'm glad I decided to go into Qdoba today because they are making changes for the better to compete more with Chipotle. They give you Guacamole and Queso (which Chipotle does not have) with your entree now. After going into Qdoba today, I am most likely going to start switching it up between Chipotle and Qdoba every time I want a burrito. I was very impressed.

I stopped in for a burrito, yes lunch is almost $10 drink water if you want to save money. the nice thing about the burrito is its all you need for lunch. I like they have fresh brewed tea. ( don't drink soda) I haven't been to a Qdoba for 10 years now when I frequented one in midtown KC for lunch. they have changed quite a bit. I loved the fact you could have queso in your burrito. I thought it was really tasty and had zero issues with dry rice etc. I've always thought burritos fall apart no matter the experience of the roller so I don't unwrap the burrito, just slowly fold down the foil as I take bites. but that's me. I will be returning to this location. clean friendly and they gave me a hot fresh and very tasty burrito reasonably priced and it took zero extra time for drama or issues. that's all I wanted in a burrito place.

Have been to this location many times for lunch and the service and quality for the most part remains very consistent. The employees do a good job in making sure that you your burrito or etc. is made to your liking. The prices are a little expensive close to 9 dollars with tax for a burrito and a little over 10 with a drink. But overall the food is very good, and have not been disappointed!

I'm surprised by the existing reviews. I have been to this Qdoba several times in the last few months and had nothing but good food. The queso is cheesey and tasty. I really like the steak fajita ranchera burrito. Great flavor. Today I did a burrito challenge. What happened is that I had Qdoba for lunch and it was so good that I wanted another one of their burritos for dinner. Unfortunately there is no Qdoba in Bellevue (come on Qdoba!) So I thought Chipotle, sure why not. Almost the same thing right? I was very disappointed. One thing I don't like is the Coke Freestyle machine. I like Pepsi and those freestyle machines are ugly. I really don't need 100+ soda choices anyways, thanks.

Got the naked shredded beef burrito and it was sub-par. Rice and beef were dry, and when I asked for extra lettuce twice the employee gave me less than a handful. Overall it was a pretty disappointing experience. If I come back I'd only order the queso and chips.

This is a Midwestern competitor of the Chipotle restaurant chain... I personally like their white rice better than Chipotle's... I also appreciate their queso and chips... at least, I did for years anyways. This place is a better bet than Chipotle or Taco Bell for shizzle.

Had the Chicken Quesadilla, but not impressed. The tortilla is so large it dominates over everything else. I don't need the carbs. Flavor was below average. Go to Chipotle instead; fresh and flavorful.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
