Awesome food had the philly cheese steak Texas style. Unbelievably friendly staff. Had their IPA which was great as well!

Twin Peaks doesn't apologize for what it is. From the language on the website and specials, to the events they throw this place is for the guys. Both times I stopped by I was one of maybe 3 or 4 women in the establishment that wasn't there for a check. The dress code for bartenders and servers ensure patrons get the scenic view they were promised (some more scenic than others) and the vibe is brief vacay in the cabin in the woods. I get it, I'm not judging and I'd probably go back, but I do wonder about the sustainability of this concept in a place like Lincoln NE. The same place that ran out a Hooters, had questions about The Tilted Kilt and boycotted Twin Peaks moving into the Haymarket in the first place. But Nebraskans and Lincolnites are sportspeople & this being a conveniently located "ultimate sports lodge" maybe, just maybe it has what it takes. The mozzarella bites are great if they come out hot and the queso is adequately spicy. Their wells are Bartons so maybe don't get them but the Knotty Brunette is worth a try.

Beer is really cold, and I love that! Had the pot roast and it was delicious! Didn't need the knife, it fell apart with a touch of a fork. Deep fried pickles were great for $4.

This is a fairly new place in Lincoln and since we a) were going to be downtown anyway and b) we'd never tried it before and c) we'd heard from a friend that the food was pretty good, my wife and I decided to drop in for dinner on 12/14/2014. There was next to nobody in the place at 5 p.m. on a Sunday/game day. We were seated fairly quickly. The place advertises its ice cold beer. But no Guinness on tap. Boo. First off the food is pretty good for bar grub. We had the mozzarella bites appetizer to start. A nice portion of pretty good sized fried mozzarella along with a tasty marinara and some ranch. So far so good. I had the mom's pot roast-which was cooked to a turn and fell apart when I touched with my fork. No knife required at all. It came with some vegetables cooked in the roast juice and with some bacon. Very, very good and a decent sized portion. My wife had the Philly sandwich. That was good was well. Most places screw up a Philly by adding too much spice to the meat so you can't taste anything but spice. With this sandwich, we could taste both the meat and the peppers. Good stuff. The service needs a little work. The staff evidently hasn't really mastered the art of actual waitressing because when it became obvious to our waitress that we were a married couple, the concept of customer service outside of the pre-programmed faux flirting and faux conversation with the male clientele came pretty hard to her. And while the rest of the wait staff flitted between the all-male tables, we and the other couples in the place got a bare minimum of attention and some puzzled looks. It seemed that when our lovely waitress realized that her breasts popping out of her shirt wasn't going to garner a higher tip she was genuinely flummoxed about how to proceed. So to summarize: Decent food, average service and the beer selection is really nothing to write home about.

Good food for opening weekend (typical bar food). We sat at the bar. The only person that helped us was a trainer that wasn't suppose to help us. The girls/bartenders talked more about each other than dealing with the people at the bar. Not Impressed with our first time there.

Went in on a Sat. Night. It was packed. The wait was only 15 minutes. There was a bottle cooler service in the corner so you could get a drink right away while waiting if you did not want to go to the bar. Once seated waitress was very attentive...and attractive. Had wings and chicken sandwich. Really really cold beer! Both very good flavor. Great experience. Limited menu but we look forward to going back.

What a joke. Went in there on game day. They were not busy at all. They had a very limited menu. We sat forever. We were not even asked what we would like to drink. Finally the manager walked by asking us how we were doing. I asked about the Meatloaf i came in for. Also asked if he was a waiter. He said he was the manager. Finally after the waitress saw us talking to him she decides maybe it is time to come over and ask us if we would like anything to drink. Decided I didn't like anything on the small game day menu. So got up and left. Told the manager the girls seem more interested in using the hula hoops and socializing with other people who work there. Went to flatwater bristo where we were waited on as soon as we sat down. I doubt if I go back to give the meatloaf a try. The lack of being waited on was enough to turn me off.
