Easily the best Vietnamese spot in town! Try the spring rolls, chicken pho and any of the hot pots. I always leave happy!

I was pleasantly surprised to find such good Vietnamese food in Lincoln, NE! Close to our motel, I was in the mood for fresh veggies and some ethnic flavors, but kept my expectations low. Spirits lifted when it was noticed that my husband and I were the only Caucasian patrons in the restaurant at time of visit... Pho Factory wins points for taking tables past 9pm, making an excellent Mojito, offering a truly exceptional grilled noodle bowl with shrimp, beef, and springrolls atop rice noodles, veggies and tossed with an amazing sauce/vinaigrette. Pho Factory could improve upon their service (slightly inexperienced and a little scattered) and the chicken for their special Pho Ga was disappointing- the slimy/fatty skin wasn't terribly appealing, and I thought the chicken itself could be more flavorful. All in all, a very decent meal, and refreshing change of taste while on the road!

We ordered takeaway here and they were very friendly and quick. Quite good basic pho but nothing I'd go out of my way to get. The restaurant is nice, large and has a comfortable setup that is less casual than what I usually think of for a pho spot. The prices don't reflect the nicer ambiance though and it's quite affordable for the large portions given.

I really love this place and wish they had a location in Omaha! I love that I can make my own combo pho, and they actually offer tendon and tripe, which is rare around these parts. The broth tastes wonderful and the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. However, the pho is so good it has spoiled all other Pho places in Omaha. None of them can satisfy my pho cravings now. This is the best I have found in Nebraska for taste and authenticity.

Awesome Pho, great curry, all in all tasty and a favorite of mine.

Nice ambience, friendly service, but very so-so pho. I'm surprised at all the rave reviews here. If you want fabulous pho, go to Vung Tao instead, which is nearby on Y street and has the best pho I've ever tasted. Tonight at Pho Factory, on the other hand, the broth was not very tasty. I got the chicken pho and my husband got the tofu pho. The chicken pho was ok and my husband thought the tofu pho was not good. Another family member got the seafood pho and thought it just ok.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The menu has the normal vietnamese dishes. For pho being the signature dish, their broth is really bland and did not have the authentic smell/taste. Overall, too pricey for an instapho taste.

Solid Pho Joint. Nice, minimal, modern decor. Pretty good service, some room for improvement. Lots of variety in their menu and I loved that you choose different types of meat on your pho. Good mix of vietnamese and non vietnamese customers. I'll probably come back but it's not my favorite pho place- for that just go go go few blocks south on 27th and grab some pho nguyen. Pho factory has better hours though!

Delicious combo pho. A medium is most folks large - so be warned. My wife had the small, which would've passed for a medium in most places. Good value, very good service. Food was delicious. Give it a try.

This place is consistently good. Always enjoy the Pho. Service is good and the atmosphere is nice. The spring rolls are also large and delicious.

My first trip to the Pho Factory today. Yelpers were right on the money with this place. It was delicious. The Spring Roles weren't just delicious, they were a work of freaking art! (See the photos). Delicious and the peanut dipping sauce was a nice compliment. I had the meatball, brisket and flank Pho and it was perfect. Except that they added a TON of cilantro, which I hate. I asked the waitress who assured me I could order it without cilantro next time, which I shall. But it was hearty, tasty and meaty. Our service was perfect and our waitress couldn't have been better. Our drinks never even made it to half empty. I can't wait to go back and do more exploring on the menu.

The best Vietnamese restaurant in Lincoln. Great service and amazing food! Too many favorites to name.

Service was very good and the decor was nice. The food was ok compared to traditional pho restaurants and lacked the traditional flavor. The portions were small compared to the price on some of the dishes.

Pho is my antidrug... the broth is ON POINT. I heard about this place from a few local foodies. Theres a few competitors in the area with the traditional mom and pop vibe.. Pho Factory is a little bit more modern/contemporary but that means nothing, its whos behind the kitchen doors that really matters. Legit from start to finish. Pho Tai, egg rolls and a cold import did the trick.

Came here with my friend because we are on a cross country road trip and needed a warm bite before retiring. Surprisingly Lincoln has a large enough Vietnamese population to sustain several Vietnamese restaurants. We came in around 7 pm on a Sunday night and there were still about 20 ppl in the restaurant. I ordered a medium pho with all the best toppings, and my friend had the large photo with steak, meatballs, and brisket. The portion sizes were a bit smaller than I am used to, the pho broth wasn't that tasty either. However the service was really friendly and prices were affordable so they get 3 stars. Very generous with the bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños, and limes as well. If you're driving across country and feel like some hot fresh food that's not fast food you should definitely make a stop here !

I am surprised that this place has such high ratings. Been a few times and haven't been impressed, strongly prefer the mom and pop place down the street, and here's why. On one occasion they were actually out of pho broth when we went. Granted, it was later in the evening, but still. So we ordered a seafood soup. When it arrived at our table with the little flame under it, I quickly discovered that the seafood was still frozen. When I notified my server, her response was that it should cook with the flame. I'm sorry, what? This is not accurate. About 10 minutes later, I was able to talk to someone else who apologized and took it back to the kitchen to actually be cooked before returning it to us. The flavor was fine, but the whole experience was very off-putting. The pho broth itself is fine. Not my favorite, and not the worst I've ever had. I think other places have more complex flavors. Given this and my experience listed above, I generally decide to take my pho business elsewhere.

My wife is more of a Pho fan than myself. I have had a few meals here and they are consistent. I like the food and the spring rolls were good. The service and prices are ok too. Overall, a worthy Pho place.

I've had pho in many cities on the east coast but I love the pho here the most. Their spring rolls are great, too. Each time I go in there, I tell myself I'm going to try something different off the menu but I really just want the pho

Yes compared to Omaha where I live, pho factory has wayyyy better pho. I think this has to do with the large Vietnamese population that lives in Lincoln vs Omaha. I still like House of Hunan in Lincoln also for pho. The pricing between the two are close, Pho factory offers a more trendy eating environment where I noticed Americans seem to feel more comfortable. Beside that, it has a convenient location next door to a well stocked Asian market, perfect for lunch and then shopping afterwards. What I particularly like about pho factory is you can customize your bowl of noodles. From the bowl size, to broth, to meat (brisket, flank, tendon, meatball, chicken etc) you can make your ultimate bowl to your liking. The service was great and the menu also has a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes. Can't wait to come back.

This was my first pho experience so I don't have much to compare it to, but I really enjoyed the experience. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the faint smell of star anise, a distinctive flavor found in Vietnamese broth. The decor is very nice, very updated, but I will say the noise level made it hard to hear my friends and after a while (we stayed for a couple hours) those hard wooden seats in the booth are not comfy. I started off with spring rolls, only $4 for two large, fresh rolls stuffed with shrimp, pork and chicken. The flavor was quite nice, an herb I can't put my finger on, but so fresh and crisp. I love spring rolls and have a hard time finding them in town. I'll be back for these alone! I do not like peanut sauce so I can't give much of a review on that. For my entree, I decided to give pho a go. It was tasty. It is and isn't like a bowl of chicken soup. It's loaded with noodles and meat (you can pick up to 5), veggies and spices with a broth seasoned with star anise. A small (with the spring rolls) was more than enough to fill me up and I ended up taking some home (it reheated very well). Two of my friends also had pho, opting for the tofu, and my other friend ordered the fried noodle bowl which I sampled. It's essentially a bowl of noodles with meat and veggies and the chicken is good, has a unique flavor. Our intention was to actually meet for drinks but it turned into dinner and drinks and we were happy to see Pho had 'some' selection for drinks. Two of my friends had the lotus mixed drink, another had a mojito and I had a siracha bloody mary. It was good, it wasn't very strong and it was very full! Wine looks a little pricey, $11 for a glass one pinot noir. They don't have a lot of options but they do have some. The entree prices are extremely reasonable. I had the spring rolls, my small entree and ordered lemongrass chicken with rice noodles to go and it was $30. So reasonable! The service was good. Our server seemed very nervous, unsure of himself, but after hearing our orders, he said them back perfectly, no paper required. That was impressive. His lack of confidence, not so much. I wonder if something was going on behind the scenes b/c he mentioned the boss was behind the bar (and filling drinks way too full/they overflowed on the way to our table). I asked for a to go cup and it took a few asks before I got it. And, again, it was SO loud. I didn't like that. But it wasn't enough of a turn off to not go back. I'm excited to try more menu items and get my husband involved.

My favorite restaurant in Lincoln! My first time I had never had pho and came on a snowy/blizzard day as a lunch date with myself. The waiter was so helpful and didn't make me feel like an idiot since I had not eaten this type of food before. I got spring rolls and a huge bowl of pho for like $11 I tipped him $10 on top of that that's how good the experience was. Soup was addicting. I have since been back like 5 or 6 times just for the tofu spring rolls with the most magical peanut sauce ever. The king crepe is huge, flavorful and fun. Service has always been outstanding wether they are busy or slow. It's fun to go to the market next store and see all the fun stuff too and then stop by bahnwich for a bubble tea for desert. I go here at least once a month. Great place, great food, great service I can't even say enough awesome things about them! Keep up the great work I couldn't fulfill my cravings without them!!

I love the concept of this place. Being Vietnamese myself, I'm accustomed to most Asian restaurants having tacky decor and oddly assembled bathrooms/storage rooms. This place was nothing like that. In fact, the first thing I noticed is how thoughtful the interior was designed and I thought to myself "it would be sweet if we had one of these in Omaha". We were going here for a graduation celebration so we had a party of like 30 people. They were very accommodating and tried to be as attentive as possible. Ordering was a little bit chaotic, but we got everything we ordered (albeit in weird time spurts). I really like how the menu was arranged too...instead of list every combination of food, they listed it out like Chipotle- pick your noodle, pick your meat, pick your toppings, etc. Onward to the food...it was aight. I grew up eating Vietnamese every day so I have had a broad range of foods (from relatives, even Vietnam too) so I think I have a good idea of what counts as good. We started off with spring rolls and they were good, however, the hoisin sauce was really running/watery. The eggs rolls were just average, nothing stood out for me. For my entree, I ordered the large brisket Pho. It came in this ginormous bowl so I was expecting an amazing amount of food, however, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more noodles or meat and that it consisted mostly of broth (too much broth in my opinion with the meat/noodle ratio). The flavor was good, however, it was lacking in saltiness and probably could have used a bunch more fish sauce. Overall 4 stars for decor 4 stars for service 3 stars for food 3.75 stars for value Prices were really fair as the large bowl was $9-$10. I would go again, but it's definitely not the best Vietnamese I've ever had.

Food was decent except the shrimp cakes were nothing like described on the menu. We couldn't eat them, but luckily they exchanged them for another dish. Service was horrible though. We had to tell our server 4 times that we had rowdy kids and needed to leave. Our server forgot to bring our checks and left us waiting 10 minutes while she refilled waters. Then she disappeared again to pack up our leftovers so we gave our cash to someone else and waited waited waited for change. Finally we went back up to the counter to try to get out change and they couldn't find our check nor cash. Finally, we got our change. While waiting, we asked to talk to the manager but were ignored. We won't be back.

Amazing!!!! First time I have ever had pho and the medium bowl is a whole meal!!! The brisket pho is my favorite!!! The spring rolls are amazingly fresh. I love that they give you basil, bean sprouts, jalapeños, etc. to put in your pho!!! Service is always amazing and friendly. Super knowledgeable!! If you have any questions they are happy to answer!! Love pho factory and come every time I visit Lincoln.

The springrolls are so refreshing, delicious, and healthy! My friend and I are always asking for extra peanut sauce! Honestly, you can never get enough of it....a great appetizer which is different from the norm, would definitely recommend!

Everything was wonderful. The only thing that could have been improved on is the timing of the appetizers. The food was super flavorful, nice presentation. Our server was very attentive and kind. All in my party of 3 loved it ,we will be back.

Pretty good Vietnamese restaurant. Clean, nicely decorated and good service. I had the tamarind chicken wings, beef and meatball pho, and spring rolls. Chicken wings and spring rolls were excellent. One of the things I look for in spring rolls is how much thought the cook put into assembling them. I've been to some places where the pork was cut against the grain, or it was placed in the roll along the grain and was hard to bite into. Sometimes they're overfilled and they fall apart in your hands or the filling falls out when you go to dip them. These spring rolls were thoughtfully put together, my only complaint is that I wished the pork was a little thicker. It was very thin and you can barely taste it. Chicken wings were nice and crispy. Tamarind sauce was well seasoned and it was creative. I have mixed feelings about the pho. It was okay, definitely not the best I've had. The broth was clear and it had all the basic flavors that make pho, but it lacked depth and wasn't salted enough. I also found the broth a little greasy; they should've skimmed off more grease off the surface. I got the bo tai, which is supposed to be a tender cut of beef, like the loin, that is sliced thinly and put into the dish raw, it is then allowed to cook by the hot broth. The quality of meat in this pho was not what I'm used to. It was a cheaper cut. The meatballs used were a little bland. I would come back here to try their other items. But I will look somewhere else for pho.

Best pho and vietnamese sandwiches. Cheap and healthy! Get it to go, not much of an interior.

Love this place! I love that I can make my own combo pho, and they actually offer tendon and tripe, which is rare around these parts. Pho is served with lime, peppers, cilantro, basil, and sprouts, and a small bowl is more than enough to completely fill me up. I always get pho when I go, but I've seen people eating things other than pho which look really tasty and fresh as well. I'm getting hungry just talking about it. I've eaten pho in larger cities such as Houston, San Antonio, and Sacramento, and I would say the pho here is comparable, although I've found everyone has different preferences when it comes to pho (maybe some would find the broth here not as deep and meaty tasting, but I like cleaner and lighter tasting broths). The place is clean and more upscale inside, so it's definitely not your typical hole in the wall. Who would've thought Lincoln would handily beat Omaha on the Vietnamese food scene?

It's amazing to find a meal that is both light and refreshing, as well as comforting and filling. The pho here is that good! Our waitress was kind and helpful. When in Lincoln, stop here.

Super-super good pho and Bun Bo Hue! Really though as a long term vietnamese person I can tell you I know a good bowl of noodle soup. This place has it right. Get a small bowl. It's big enough. This place, like the neighboring banhwich, is just the right amount of cleanliness while still being authentic vietnamese.

I've traveled all over and found that Vietnamese in different regions of the states have different qualities. Pho Factory was my first experience with midwestern Vietnamese, and it wasn't terribly disappointing. The grilled beef I had was seasoned well and quite tender but it could have used a little more of a char. However, the pho broth that was served alongside the entree was fantastic! It had such a rich flavor. I will definitely be back for pho when the weather cools off. It's also worth noting that the service we received was exceptional. I've been treated like crap at many Vietnamese restaurants. I don't know whether it's just cultural differences or if people genuinely hate me -- and I'm such a good tipper! -- but it was refreshing to be treated with friendliness.

  • Tee S.

I would give 5 stars for service and two for food. Decor is decent. The pho broth was not traditional Vietnamese. It did not have the fattiness or that taste of beef bones being cooked for half a day tastes. The sizing is not comparable to other pho restaurant around the country that got gives abundance of meats and pho. I had the chicken wings also and the wings were fried in old oil and dried. the sauce was rubbed on while the wings were bland. Sorry about the rant. I'm Vietnamese and I cannot find a decent Vietnamese restaurant in Lincoln.

Food is real, delicious, fresh and strong on veggies. Service was knowledgeable and courteous. We didn't arrive until 9:05 (they close at 9:30) and we were given all the time we needed to finish the excellent meal. The server commented most folks didn't eat the veggies! I will be coming back for more ASAP!

Damn! Only I would go to Nebraska to officially try pho for the first time. I actually opted for the golden fried tofu curry soup, which was super amazing and yummy and came with enough jasmine rice to share with four people. The flavor was perfection, the spice level balanced. I had vegetarian pho one other time, and it was poorly made and heavy on the clove flavor so I thought I didn't like it. Wrong. Thanks, Pho Factory for setting me straight. I was able to try my husband's fried tofu pho with and without sriracha and I LOVED both. I was sad I didn't order my own, but like I said the curry was also divine. We sampled the veg spring rolls too, and I loved them, and the peanut sauce they came with. Our server, Dylan, was very attentive and checked on us multiple times and refilled water at least three times. I always appreciate that. It's official, I'm a pho addict thanks to this place.

Wow delicious! I got the Chicken Specialty pho. I focused on my chicken and vegetables and was blown away when I got to the end and started eating spoonfuls of broth. Holy hell it was so good! I was super full and just couldn't stop drinking the broth! Also, this is a pretty nice restaurant too. Modern interior, bar, a couple TVs (not loud, maybe on mute). If I lived in Lincoln I think we would be coming here a lot.

tl;dr go there, order pho, profit I'm a huge pho fan and Pho Factory's is excellent. I have to say that I'd normally pretty leery of a restaurant with "factory" anywhere in it's name, but my fears were proven unfounded. I almost always get my pho with raw beef on the side so that I can cook it just to rare in the hot broth, and the quality of theirs is very good. Probably the best I've had, nicely fatty and tender. Occasionally it's sliced a bit thick but I don't mind. Their meatballs are also good. (I'll admit to being completely apathetic toward tendon, tripe etc so I haven't had those at Pho Factory) But really, pho is all about the broth, and Pho Factory shines there as well. Once or twice it seemed maybe just slightly too sweet for my taste (maybe a bit heavy on the anise or cinnamon or something?) but it's always rich and packed with flavor, and you can really taste the various ingredients. I could drink it by the bucket full. I can't speak for any of their dishes other than pho because I have not had any. I go to pho places for pho and cannot resist ordering it.....maybe some day I'll try something else. I CAN say that everything I've seen on other people's tables has looked great (especially the hot pots) and I'm sure it's delicious The atmosphere of the place is quite nice as well---surprisingly so, considering the exterior "strip mall" location. They obviously spent a few bucks on the decor, furniture etc and it's tasteful, modern and well done. Typically there's background music (what I'm guessing is contemporary Vietnamese?) and it's kept at a nice volume (I really hate it when places blare their music as if diners want to feel like they're at a bar/club). They do have the seemingly-ubiquitous multiple flat screen televisions, but they're limited to one wall, behind the bar. Obviously they felt they had to have them, but made a good choice in limiting them to that one area, keeping them off to the side and unobtrusive. The only thing lacking just slightly at Pho Factory is the service. And I hesitate to even say that because the service is by no means bad---in fact we've typically had very friendly and competent service---but more that it just seems inexperienced, inconsistent, and maybe a little... awkward? I put it down to the fact that the servers are typically pretty young, and my impression is that for most of them, Pho Factory is probably their first server job. The "akwardness' I think is just the occasional language /communication issue, but it's hardly a problem. Anyway, the service is just fine, just not "professionally"-trained. Frankly I'd rather have earnest effort with a few bumps in the road than the fake-friendly, robotic. chain restaurant spiel any day. I also think Pho Factory is a good value, as portions are very generous. I'm usually satisfied with a "small"---especially if I get an appetizer of some sort---and when I do get a "medium" I usually kind of regret it because I can't stop eating it, and I'm stuffed afterward. Good problem to have, as they say, and two people can easily get out for under $20, including tip. Woah, I'm a huge blabbermouth. Go eat there, it's awesome, The End.

I'm not sure what these other Midwestern reviewers are smoking, but...Pho Factory has great broth. I was absolutely shocked to find such a delicious pho place up here in Nebraska. I'm from Houston, TX, where there are pho shops (and Vietnamese rest.) all over the place. As in, over 120 pho places. Well, after we moved up through the Plains states, we were always on the lookout for a good (or even decent) pho place. We found one when we lived in MO~ we'd only have to make a 3 hr. drive every other weekend to get to it, of course. :) Then when we moved to Omaha, NE....nothing. There are some supposedly Vietnamese/pho places here, but I'm going to have to assume the cooks there have had their taste buds scalded to high hell. All 4 of them aren't worth going back for. =/ Well, at a nail shop, a girl was agreeing about this dismal lack of good pho~ and she said, "Go to Pho Factory in Lincoln!" Hey, worth a shot, I thought. So we finally go over there. And miracle of miracles, the pho is good!! Even the shrimp spring rolls are good~ consistently fresh. We've had a couple noodle dishes w/grilled pork & over-easy egg (delicious). And of course the fried spring rolls, which our 6 yr. old always insists on. The fried rolls are never burnt or overcooked here, as they many times tend to be at other places. I have to say, when we went back home for the holidays, we found our go-to neighborhood pho places to be strongly lacking. And now I notice how many of them have more of the umami/msg flavoring mixed in---whereas Pho Factory has a much cleaner taste, while still being flavorful. The service may be a little 'newer'~ but they are always nice, and so earnest about making sure you're enjoying your meal, or seeing if you need anything. I think they do a great job...and my husband can tell you, I'm pretty critical of slack-a-daisical service. As in, I don't let things slide. These kids here who are servers are excellent, and have nice attitudes. I won't go into aesthetic env. much, since this is already a saga. It is nice, & nicer than most pho places- but I actually held that against it until I tasted the food, in case they focused on atmosphere over taste. ;) Pho Factory is a 10. It's the 1 reason I'll be sad to leave Nebraska!

I definitely go here when I feel a craving for pho. I'm not an expert on Vietnamese food, but to me the flavors seemed right, only the noodles were a little thinner than what I'm used to on the west coast, if memory serves. But it's a minor difference. Next time I may step out and try something else besides the pho. Maybe because we're in Lincoln/the midwest, the prices are a tiny bit higher (~$1 more) than what I'm used to -- the "combination" pho is $7, $8, $9 for small, medium, large, respectively. But you get something for that money -- the large is very large and you might not be able to finish it. Still, there's really no reason NOT to get a large for just a buck more than the medium. Portion size is important because pho noodles are light, not dense, and you don't want to be hungry again 3 hours later. I have been here a couple times and in contrast to a couple of the other reviews, in my experience the service has been EXCELLENT. On par if not better than more expensive restaurants in downtown. Very friendly, yet highly efficient. Guess it just depends who you get. The decor and ambiance is also good: spacious, clean, and modern, albeit slightly vanilla in the Pinterest age. In summary: Four stars for the food. Five stars for portions. Five stars for service.

We had the tofu pho, chicken hotpot (although it was not in a soup--so I think there was a mistake), Korean short ribs, and veggie spring rolls. The pho had big blocks of tofu, savory broth, baby bok choi, and aromatic veggies--it was very good. We also liked the spring rolls--very fresh tasting. The short ribs were ok but we have had better in Omaha--the cut of meat was a bit grisly. The dipping sauce with it was good. The chicken (not sure what it was--not really a hotpot) was our least favorite. It really needed a sauce. Based on the pho (which is 4 star) and the spring rolls, we will try it again.

My husband and I had pho for the first time here last night. I had a small bowl of rare steak pho and the salted lime to drink. Both were very fresh and flavorful. I recommend the chili paste in the pho for added flavor and spice. We will definitely be back!

This is a great new addition to Lincoln. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is comfortable, clean and nice. The prices are definitely reasonable. I've had the tofu pho every time and it never disappoints. The tofu spring rolls are the best in town! The Thai curry soup is my second favorite menu item. Lots of bold flavor and nice ingredients. The cocktails are tasty and fun. The staff is courteous and nice. Wish there were more vegetarian options though. Quick tip: Start with the medium pho first and see if that size is big enough or small enough. (i can eat a lot and even the small bowl is suitable) Lincoln has been needing this place!

Nice decor, speedy service, and most importantly delicious food. Unlike many Lincoln Vietnamese restaurants, this one has plenty of vegetarian options, including what I think is LIncoln's only Tofu/Vegetarian Pho!

pho was excellent, service was poor (sat there for 15 minutes before we were able to flag down a waiter).
