This is an okay place for lunch. The food is pretty tasty (with a nice menu selection) but the service is pretty slow. The prices are also pretty high and the vibe of the space is a bit dull.

There cheesecake makes a great gift. Very tasty. Over 50+ Cheesecakes to choose from. They have some good lunch options, but to be honest, its all about the cheesecake. I have bought several of them as gifts and people love them. Its different and they are fresh and great tasting. If you have not tried this place, you really should. The Reuben and Pesto Chicken is also very tasty.

Amazing! I drive across town for this place. Cheesecake and veggie sandwiches in one place :)

Vegetarian's will like this place. Then again, so will everyone. Many sandwiches. They think 'Angry' means spicy. But only 'kinda'.

Not sure what is better, the cheesecake or the lunch. Bravo to the chef! High Society Cheesecake serves all kinds of cheesecakes and lunch options. The outside of the building is a bit boring and doesn't really catch the eye but the food is attention grabbing.

Went here for lunch with my boyfriend because I'd heard wonderful things. I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 salad combo with the One-Two-Niner, and he got the vegetarian Chicken Parm sandwich, and we shared a slice of double chocolate cheesecake. I loved the pretzel bun of my sandwich, but there were hardly any fillings and the sandwich was just sort of boring and bland, and I was really glad I'd gotten a half salad as well. I tried his and liked it better, but it still wasn't great. Sort of disappointing for a place that's known for being vegetarian friendly. With this said, the cheesecake was AWESOME. The cheesecake deserves five stars, but I can't rate it higher than a three when considering the actual lunch items. I'll come back, but only for the cheesecake.

Drove by on the way home and decided to treat myself with some cheesecake. When I saw the size of the slices, I was a bit skeptical but got a slice of pumpkin cheesecake anyways. It was really good and reminded me of fall. However, it was extremely sweet. Thank goodness the slices were small or else there would be no way I could finish it. Tried my friend's cinnamon roll cheesecake and it was also very good. Overall, good cheesecake but definitely not something I can personally eat again.

My husband and I just moved to the south side of town, and boy, have we found our new favorite lunch spot. I decided to try it out on a whim during a long day of unpacking, and I'm sure glad I did. The first time I went, I got the Optimus Prime and a slice of Turtle Cheesecake. The sandwich was the perfect combo of flavors, and the bread was deliciously buttered and grilled to a perfect golden brown. The Turtle Cheesecake was wonderful -- so much so that it distracted me from my sandwich for a bit. The second time, I brought home the Bacon Chicken Apparatus and Fire Roasted Corn Chowder, as well as a slice of English Toffee Cheesecake for myself, and Chocolate Covered Strawberry for my husband. My husband took one bite of the sandwich and wanted to know where it came from -- he was hooked. I didn't think it was possible to like a sandwich more than the Optimus Prime, but I regretted making the decision to split it rather than each get our own. The Fire Roasted Corn Chowder was a little thin for a chowder, but the flavor was great. I thought the English Toffee Cheesecake was a little heavy on an almond extract flavoring, personally, but it was still good. After waking up in the midst of my post-New Years Eve fog, all I wanted in life was the Bacon Chicken Apparatus. Unfortunately they were taking a deserved day off for the holiday, so my hangover had to be salved with a decidedly less exciting homemade sandwich -- but I'll probably go there tomorrow as a favor to my hungover self from this morning.

I actually found this place in the middle of the night by doing a Yelp search for cheesecake. I knew we would be going to Lincoln the next day to try to get to some relatives to hunker down for the pending storm we were about to drive into. I was not a bit disappointed when we arrived. They had a wonderful selection of flavors to choose from. They had full cakes, make your own sampler and mini cheesecakes. So of course we had to make our own sampler. We selected from about 20 different flavors. While we were waiting for it to be put together, we shared a lunch special of 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. I had the 1/2 sandwich of Roast beef and cheese on a pretzel roll. It was really good. Pretzel roll was soft inside and just a little crisp on the outside. Mom had the Minestrone. It was chocked full of good stuff and delicious as well. Or sampler consisted of Pumpkin, Turtle, Original and Amaretto. Each flavor was very distinct. Sometimes you get cheesecake that just tastes like plain even thought it is flavored. This was SO not the case. I still can't decide which I liked best of the 4 of them. We cut the slices in half so we all could sample some of each. There was plenty left over, but I think we all ate our fill and then some. I wish this place wasn't so far away, I am thinking I would certainly frequent it. Not sure why it's listed as Vegitarian, they had a wide array of sandwhiches which were not vegitarian.

Tried key lime. The color seened to be from some artifitial ingridients (found some little green points inside). It is good, just not up to my expectation. Besides, i prefer cheescakes with thicker cookie crisps in the botton.

This restaurant does not get as much credit as it deserves! Not only is their cheesecake selection fantastic (I mean, if you are going to call yourself High Society Cheesecake, you better have some fantastic cheesecake!), they have incredible sandwiches and soups. The sandwich I regularly order is the Pesto Chicken with an addition of fresh avocado. That sandwich's pesto is perfect and not too overwhelming, the chicken cooked to perfection, and the addition of avocado is necessary because...well, I love fresh avocado on just about anything! The soups are also great, going through a rotating list throughout the week. My personal favorite is the broccoli cheese. This soup does not overwhelm you with broccoli, which is my biggest quip with this kind of soup. The cheese to broccoli ratio is absolutely perfect and you can tell when you taste it that it was prepared fresh. One of my favorite lunch places in Lincoln, High Society Cheesecake is the underdog restaurant that should be experienced by everyone at least once!

I really enjoyed a meal I had here a while back. Sometimes things at work get pretty heated. I do work at one of the top wireless telephone companies in the US and it's a competitive environment. It's not uncommon to get stabbed in the back (figuratively, not literally LOL) or stab someone else in the back, if they deserve it (of course) or if that's what it takes to get a head. Sounds tough but welcome to capitalism people. So after a long day attending industry seminars and meet and greets it was nice to just get away and find a lovely, inviting restaurant like this one. They market themselves as a high class place to get cheesecake but its much more than just that. They make exceedingly good veggie sandwiches. I like the One-Two-Niner but also recommend the Trolley Stop. For those with a meat tooth try the Optimus Prime Rib. It goes without saying that the cheesecake is exceptional. I would definitely say to get the sampler and try a little of everything. They say it serves 12 but I got one for myself and it wasn't too much. For those with smaller appetites consider the minis or just try a slice of over 40 flavors!

I miss this place soooo much!! Seriously amazing food! And you can tell these owners are passionate about what they do. I hate that I moved away. If you live in the lincoln area...you had better be eating here!!

The sandwiches and soups here are well worth the time to check out. They have good cheese cake too, but for lunch's this place can not be beat. They are all home make that day... so get out there and try it.

High Society Cheesecake has an excellent assortment of menu items for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The Optimus Prime sandwich, made with prime rib, is delicious. Their soups are made fresh and the taste reflects that. I haven't tried their cheesecakes so I can't speak to that.

I love this place. I love supporting local and this is one of my favorite places to eat. Great lunch options. I enjoy their cheesecake also, but love their food! Portion size is great and their soup options are made from scratch. I would highly recommend their Tomato Basil.

I've been here a couple of times, and both times I got the chicken pesto sandwich and a slice of cheesecake. I really should try some of their other sandwiches, but the chicken pesto is so good I haven't been able to order anything else yet. And of course the cheesecake is excellent. A few demerits: the food is served in cheap baskets with plastic utensils, and the drink choices are limited. The place really doesn't live up to the name. But I keep coming back for the food!

I read about this place in the Midwest Magazine so I thought we would give it a try. Not much from the outside and very casual/only a few tables on the inside but a great place for lunch. The kids loved their club sandwich, served on pretzel bread.. YUM! and I loved my salad and homemade tomato basil w/ feta soup. We tried the cheesecake as well and the cookies and cream was delish!! This is a must try for lunch!!
