This is truly a dive bar in a small one horse town full of oil field workers so my expectations were fairly low to say the least, but this place surprised me with some pretty good food! My co-workers had burgers and fries. They reported the burgers were great and they were huge. The curly fries tasted about exactly like Arby's (the roast beef fast food people) - not bad, but fairly average. Their "hand cut homemade" chips were pretty much frozen ones from a food distributor like Sysco fried up - again not bad but nothing to write home about and on par with any decent bar food. So why 4 stars? Well, I opted for their daily special of stuffed bell peppers and a roasted red pepper / baked gouda cheese soup and it was awesome, something that I'd expect served from a nice, higher priced restaurant. So don't let the looks of this place fool you - coworkers said the burgers were great and my daily special shows they can do high priced restaurant fare too. So if you're stuck in the oil fields of Northwestern North Dakota you only have about a half dozen choices for food - this place delivers the goods.

I had a cheeseburger and kids had French dips. Daughter said meat tasted yucky. Kids ended up with stomach aches and my daughter got sick. Plus, it was really expensive.

Didn't have much of a choice on this one. Hungry and out of options since everything else in this small town was closed we decided to go on some recommendations from yelp and stopped into this location. I wish we would have continued driving and maybe even eaten something questionable from the gas station. The burgers took way too long to make getting me to think the cook doesn't like his job and the staff while pretending to be friendly just seemed annoyed that they had to be at work. They are really overpriced for a simple hamburger but what else do you expect when you options are limited. We got our food to go since we never really sit down and eat at any restaurants in ND. Since the oil has come the service has gone. The burgers were dry and the bread was soggy, the fries tasted like they had been sitting there for at least 12 hours and the meat didn't even taste like it should, I feel like I may have eaten something they combined in the back after they cleaning off all the tables from breakfast, lets call it mystery meat. I really tried since the price was so expensive but ended up throwing out most of the meal. If you find yourself in the same situation I suggest you go to the gas station and get something that is already packaged to hold you over until you can find a real place to eat.

Overpriced food. Lackluster service. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. The meat was disgusting, a preformed frozen patty that lacked any flavor. The onions that were piled on were like gum. The price was @ $18 for a cheap, hastily prepared burger with onion rings that can be found in almost any fast food joint, absolutely nothing special here, folks. Also, it must be ok for parents to sit at the bar and binge drink while their children sit directly behind them on a Sunday afternoon, listening to the father demonize the local police department, while the waitresses cheer them on and stay more focused on their texting than worry about the numerous customers waiting on their food. This place is an OVERPRICED TRAP, clearly capitalizing on the oil boom this region is LUCKY to have. You'd be better served to go to the gas station nearby for a meal.

Great hamburgers. Gotta be one of the best places in the Bakken. Staff could be more friendly. There service was great however.

Every time I have ordered from Wildcatz, dine in or To-Go they have messed something up, the food takes forever, fries are way over salted, and way overpriced. However, refuse to go there on principle. the waitresses were all terrible. Than one day I saw the owner and she was so rude & mean to all of the staff I was appalled. I thought ok she's having a bad day, I've waited tables & been the boss @ restaurants so I went back to check it outBC it bothered me that bad. The same thing a week later, not busy, different waitress & the owner was the same, ridiculously MEAN & just rude to her staff. There is never a reason for her unprofessional behavior, especially blatantly in front of customers. No wonder the staff sucks! I haven't returned in over a year. I am a ND girl & lived here for over 2 years & I REFUSE to give them my business.

Food is great. Beer and mixed drinks are good. The best part is every dine-in meal during the Summer and Fall you are accompained by flies. No, not the food. The dining area. Limited choices in town, funnel ya there.
