I was very surprised by the quality menu, "Regional Mexican." Extremely well made dishes true to their heritage. The "Remington" ID a very large bar, and you can eat just about anywhere in the place. The restaurant has quiet seating if you like the quiet. Live poker most nights, live music on the weekends, slots everywhere, shuffle board table that you'll have to learn, it needs sanding. Pool tables. The wait staff is very courteous, food has been great. I can say I have never been disappointed by choosing to eat there! Not a bad place to catch an occasional celebrity & their "Posses."

Probably my favourite bar in Whitefish. I love the poker table, the setup: ample dance floor room, gambling stuff is kind of isolated to its own section, and long open bars. Music/DJ are great, love the space on the dance floor again, especially compared to other bars in Whitefish. Friendly staff, good prices, and again, great setup!

The Remington makes me think of an old pirate pub Jack Sparrow would frequent ages ago. The layout is great. Lots of open space, nice bar(s), and so on. Its age shows but I sort of adds to the character. But the local crowd that frequents could be mistaken for some of the crew of the Black Pearl. Looking for things not available in the regular market, check the black market here. You might just find what you're looking for. Food is from the Mexican place next door, what they lack in quality they provide in quantity. Hungry? If your belly is spilling out of your shirt and your wife has a tummy down to her knees. This might be the place for you to eat. During the peak tourist season these things are far less noticeable. Don't get me wrong, had plenty of good fun at the Remington and so will you.

If you like poker with just the right amount of people with just the right amount of inebriation--so as to impair their playing ability--playing a game with cheap and grungy beverage service, the Remington exists for you. If you roll into Whitefish looking for a dive bar at which to begin your debauchery or tourist follies, you should start here but also here. The Remy, as the locals call it, affords you one experience unlike other tourist mountain towns, specifically because it partners alongside the other no-frills watering holes in town. I figured with a town such as Whitefish that you might do well to cater to the rich crowd with lounges and the sort. Nope, Whitefish sticks to its guns with bars such as the Remy and does a great job in bringing about Canadians and Americans alike in an abundance of gross, yet delightful settings. Oh, and microbrews find themselves on the menu, too....

This place was everything I wanted a Montana bar to be+more. Great DJ, fun video keno and video machines, cheap drinks and fun people! The bar lines were a little long at time not sure if they were under staffed that night, but besides that I had a great time. And the 9 dollar pitchers of blue moon were one of the best deals Ive seen!

Great selection of microbrews on tap, "cowboy dive" vibe, shuffleboard, casino video games, pool, foosball, and an awesome Mexican joint next door...what more could you ask for? Say hi to Tabitha at the bar if you're there, and Ernie if he's occupying his usual barstool. Totally quiet the last couple of times I've been there, even during tourist season, but I'm not a late night lounge lizard, so your mileage may vary.

Woot to tha woot! Love the Rem! We were there on new years eve and it was packed (we go there all the time though, just to point that out...), funny thing is, there was this burrito on the floor that someone dropped and people were all slipping on it! Hilarious! Good prices on drinks and great staff make it a fun place to hang out. Never any sound on the TV's unless its early and you ask real nice... Also, beware the bathrooms after midnight...

Probably the best spot in Whitefish. Two full bars, really cool and beautiful bartenders, two live poker tables, pool tables, ping pong table, foosball table, karaoke, shuffle board. Wednesday's is Bingo night which is awesome, $2 a card and the pots are anywhere between $100-200.00. Weekends are always fun, pretty much has anything to keep you entertained for hours. Its also attached to La Hacienda which is an awesome Mexican restaurant. Totally authentic and tasty. You can order food there and then go to the bar, and they'll bring your food to you if you don't want to eat in the restaurant. Friendly, fun, and fucking awesome!

Went there last night (monday) and found a rude rude rude male bartender. My friend asked how much a certain drink was, and then commented to me that it was a bit more than at another local bar, the Palace. The bartender overheard this and immediately got aggressive with us and yelled "then why don't you leave and go there?!" Umm, yeah, you don't have to ask twice. Never got a chance to really enjoy the bar since I didnt want to spend any time around this surly bartender. He should be fired!
