Yummy mahi-mahi - great meal after a full day on the slopes! Within walking of our condo and so convenient to not have to actually drive into town. Highly recommend for a good hearty meal. Only drawback is the amount of time it took to get our meal. Not sure if they were waiting to bring out all of our meals at same time (there was 7 of us)....because some of the dishes were cold....

Stopped in for another week of lunches to break up some good skiing. Overall, I wasn't as impressed this year as last year. Over the course of a week, I had a number of beers, both the Wheatfish hefeweisen and house Amber. The Wheatfish was fine - typical wheat, not memorable. The Amber is quite good, not bitter and quite flavorful. Meals: -Spinach salad: typically good, but this was sad - few ingredients, half the size expected, and not very good. -Pulled pork sandwich: solid sandwich (it's hard to mess up pulled pork), needed to ask for extra bbq. -Side of veggies: pretty sad (2 carrots, a few pieces of lettuce, 4 small tomatoes). -Full nachos w both pulled beef and chicken: HUGE! need at least 6 ppl unless want to eat day's worth of food. It was pretty solid - had cheese and meat in the middle. Woulda liked some beans in it. -Chicken gravy and biscuits: okay. Food itself was fine (fairly bland, as it should be) with a tasty biscuit. Not much chicken at all, so I was disappointed. -Philly cheesesteak: pretty typical, not bad, smaller than I expected

Checked in at the resort on Whitefish mountain in Whitefish Montana after a long drive. Didn't want to get back in the car to drive somewhere and got an enthusiastic recommendation from the woman working the desk. Didn't expect much but was very impressed by the food and service. My wife is a vegan and getting her something can be a challenge. The chief prepared her a terrific stir fry over rice. I had the Chicken Variously (this time was a BBQ chicken with a huckleberry sauce, mashed potatoes and fruit salad). It was very good. I had my doubts about fruit salad with BBQ chicken but it was well balanced. I recommend this place to anyone.

Ski in, walk up, and always stumble out......This place serves the worlds largest nachos (citation needed)....has a magnificent shot-ski that turns any boring meal into a party for 4 or more. The bartenders are fun and the view from the porch onto the beautiful mountains and Lake Whitefish are unbeatable. If you are every in Whitefish, you HAVE to go here!

Ski right in and have the best nacho around, huge huge nachos! The guy with a beard and tattoos that makes them is the KING!! Buy a hat and get a drink special during après ski for life if you' have it on.

What a fantastic restaurant on the edge of the slopes! I had the Carne Colorado Steak and my girl had the Cuban Cowboy steak. If I had another Moose Drool beer on board, I may have licked my plate. (Oh... maybe I did.) The staff was great. Maybe they're like that all of the time or we were especially entertaining that night. Not sure. The is a MUST eat if you are at Big Mountain!

Not good. Food was mediocre. Place was dirty with threadbare carept. Very overpriced...my pasta dish came with chips and salsa. Just weird..would never return. Only plus thing was the outdoor deck was nice with a stunning view.
