We very much enjoyed our meal. Had no trouble getting a dinner reservation, sat outside, and the weather was nice. Our server, Katie, was very friendly, and our food came out very quickly despite the restaurant being pretty busy. I got the curry with chicken - I like spicy food, and this was pretty darn spicy. The additional red spicy sauce you can get on the side is super hot and for me, quite unnecessary (read: could blow your face clean off.) Curry Flavor was good, and it had lots of veggies in it which I appreciate. Hubby got the special yellowtail with golden beets; he says it was good but I thought it wasn't that super. Whatever the other part was (? Squid in some Asian sauce? Was really tasty.) Dessert: chocolate bread pudding. Definitely not as good as Tupelo Grill in Wfish but still yummy; would try something else next time. We will definitely be back; the menu has lots of things I want to try! Meatloaf... Buerre blanc... Excited.

I had the gold beet salad and next time I will get a double order...delicious!! Had meatloaf and marvelous..huge portion and took the rest home..service excellent. We love having Haskell Station close by and keep up the good work!

Decent enough, nothing special. Casual dining with moderate prices. The server never told us her name, they kept turning away customers because they were "booked" but the tables remained mostly empty the entire time we were there. The potatoes and elk sausage were great, the beans were amazing but the wings were fatty, cold and had very little sauce or flavor (I ordered the BBQ wings). But the portions are fair and the eclectic atmosphere was casual and fun. I'll probably be back but not for a special occasion.

On a beautiful evening we knew we wanted to sit outdoors and saw this option on TA. We arrived and were able to get a nice patio table before they were all gone. (Though the inside's quirky/ arty decor would have made for fun dining.) The menu had some interesting selections. The salad option to include the smoked trout salad was a great choice since the trout was great. The burgers were perfectly done and juicy and the fries crisp. The service was very good. An excellent casual dining experience. August 2014

We really enjoyed coming here end of last year but after flat beer, salad serves that looked like it had been sitting out for a day and lousy wine selections the last few times we went, we stopped going. Hostess-Waitress is sweet, friendly but the owners need to pay attention to this step sister reataurant.

Perfectly dressed arugula salad. My only complaint is that it needed a couple more pieces of pork belly. The meatloaf is fantastic. We will definitely return.

Being local we have driven past Haskill daily for over a year, but decided to give it a try tonight. I wish we would have stuck to Downtown. The hostess lacked hospitality and our waitress barely spoke to us. We ordered burgers, being that was what we heard were best. To our disappointment they lacked flavor. The atmosphere was awesome though and so was the wine list. On a side note: the young man filling the water glasses was amazing! We won't be back but hopeful this was a one time experience.

We have been coming here more and more frequently this year as each meal has been consistently great. Reasonably priced, good menu variety. I have become a fan of their sweet potato fries and must resist them or be doomed to not finishing the rest of my meal. While we haven't had the burgers yet, friends did the other night and they were mouth stretchers. The rib eye special was delicious as well. It comes with some Parmesan/truffle fries that, while good, are no match for the sweet potato ones, so upgrade when you order. The crowd levels the last few times we've come have been less and it looks like this is a way to escape the downtown congestion. I think the elimination of this place as a Snow Bus stop has hurt them. They seem to have solved the parking issue by doing that at the expense of popularity. While that's great for us, seems like a mistake. There was also a period where their menu was wandering and the execution faltered, but they seem to be "back" now.

My wife and I had dinner at Haskills tonight. The best meal we have had all week. The food and service was excellent! We come here every year from Seattle and it is now our go to place.

Haskill's has upgraded substantially since Chef Jason came over from The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. Great menu and a super staff with a great attitude! One of my new favorites.

Chef Jason is da BOMB!!! Our meal was amazing!!! Service was top notch. Atmosphere great. Highly recommend the bison balls, goat cheese app, beignet's for dessert. Will return each year during our annual trip. Our favorite spot to eat in whitefish.

Food and atmosphere was pretty great! We both had a spinach salad with chicken which was very good and fresh - chicken was a bit cold but we could tell it was fresh. They probably just chilled it all day. My husband had some soup that could have been a bit warmer, but we were very happy with our dessert - huckleberry ice cream and a brownie with hot fudge! That was a definite winner!

After some rave review from a friend I was excited to check this place out. Nice atmosphere and the waitress was friendly, however the food was really disappointing. The queso, (if that's what it was) was room temperature. My cobb salad is nothing to write home about, but it is worth telling you how awful it was. Small amount of sad lettuce, with below average dressing, NO avocado and the worst part was the "chicken". It was a cold, bland, filet of something that was suppose to represent chicken. I just don't get it. I feel so betrayed by this meal, If you decide to give it a try proceed with caution. Why is it so hard to find a restaurant that serves food worth eating?

Awesome apres ski/Happy Hour! Get off the mountain and get thee to Haskill. The best queso you've ever had, good wine selection, really good microbrews on tap - sit and the bar and discuss the hidden powder stash with the bartender. You won't be disappointed!

Lael, our friendly food server, did everything humanly possible to rescue our dining experience; however, she could not overcome the shortcomings of the apparently inexperienced and non-caring kitchen staff. Our soup and fish entrees arrived cold, the trout (very dry) preparation did not match the menu offering and the burger (ordered medium-rare) arrived well-done. It was also not comforting to learn from the staff that the kitchen "A-Team" only works on weekends, not the weekday of our disappointing experience.

This is a great place to stop on the way into town after a hard day of skiing on the Mountain. Too bad they don't have a full bar, but at $1,000,000+ for a liquor license, I can sympathize with why they don't. Great beer on tap though and I've enjoyed the food when I've been there to eat. It's kind of an intimate setting, so going on a date here would be a good choice.

I gave this place a second chance and was sorely dissatisfied with everything but the decor and my ice cold draft. Way too many options in town to ever stop in here again.

I heard a few people around town who are down on this place. Weird. We went here tonight, and I thought it was great! We ordered the fish tacos and the enchilada, both were fantastic! (be warned though, the fish tacos don't have white sauce, so if thats what you're used to you might want to try the pork or something else...) We also had the appetizer cheese dip and the beignets for dessert. Everything was great, and the best thing? All that food, and an iced tea, just $34. Can you believe it?! Almost the best prices in town! I am stoked on this place. I guess if you're hoping to get filet mignon and truffles you might want to hit somewhere else. Also, they only have a beer and wine license so no cocktails available.

Finally we have a great family place back in Whitefish where the whole family is happy! It has been years but we are glad to see we have this kind of restaurant back in town! Great place to take the family for a meal that makes everyone happy and enjoy a nice beer or glass of wine. Relaxed, casual atmosphere and friendly staff. We will be back again and again. My reaction to the negative report - it seems that the individual reporting did not realize that this is a family restaurant - it's not a bar. That's all I can say - seems they were looking for a place to party?? It's a fun place to go but so far has seemed to be more of a family place - which is why we like it!

Cute decor. No liquor license - doesn't matter - the food is HORRENDOUS. A classic Caesar salad does not come with bottled dressing (could taste the chemicals), boxed croutons, rusty Romaine...disgusting. Shrimp & Andouille Skewers - Andouille sausage sure looked and tasted as if it were Hormel or a bad grocery store brand - more like Kielbasa and definitely not andouille. The shrimp weren't seasoned and were not cooked thoroughly. Hummus appetizer was equally disgusting - where's the Tahini, the cumin, lemon, garlic, salt? This tasted like freshly cooked garbanzos that were pureed (poorly) with no seasoning. How difficult is this? You could buy a grocery brand that is better than this crap. The service was bad and we were one of two tables in the restaurant. The chef was a loud and obnoxious oaf sitting at the bar bragging about how this was his restaurant and his "creative menu". He delivered our food and told us how lucky we were to have ordered the "best sellers". We left and went down the street to McGarry's Roadhouse to eat real, good food!

They use fake pint glasses- extra thick bottoms so they only hold 14 ounces instead of 16. Avoid. I thought something was fishy with the glass but I didn't say anything since I didn't have proof, but once I got home, I looked at a real pint glass and I knew that they were trying to rip off their customers. The burger I got was OK, but I will never return to this place since they treat their customers like this.

Loved this place! The food was really good and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. We had a great time. Wish I lived closer, I would be a regular for sure.
