My husband and I were visiting Missoula and looking for a local place to watch the Broncos/Seahawks game. Press Box was within walking distance of our hotel and the concierge told us they had newly trained staff. That made us wonder, but we gave it a go. The wait staff were very accommodating and attentive so that training must be working. The food is pretty typical of sports bar fare so nothing mind-blowing. We will be back if we are ever in Missoula again.

This place is a grizz bar so don't come here on a saturday and try to watch real divisioin 1 Football. Tried to watch 2 Alabama at 10 Arkansas and all of the tv's had montana playing some team that had a track around there field. However the bar staff was nice and told us where to go to watch the other games. We were lucky to get out of here with out a major altercation from the ignorant grizz fans.

This place is not worth your time or your money. The staff is slow and rude and the managers don't care about the staff service or the customers. I waited a long time for my food and drinks on a slow night. Go to Reds.

Went in for dinner and drinks and was served by Alex P, according to the receipt. Ended up leaving early and having my friend meet me elsewhere due to the service. After sitting down and being greeted after a few minutes, I asked for a wine menu. After Alex checking in on me twice within the next fifteen minutes I asked for a wine menu for a second and third time. Finally, I got "We don't have a wine menu." I said ok...well what do you have? "Um...we have sports bar cab and sports bar merlot. You know...." I could see at least 6 distinct red wine bottles behind me, and based on my 4 years experience in the food industry, I could name the vintner and the varietal based on the label and shape of the bottles, alone, for four of these. Not to mention I'm sure they had a similar amount of matching white wines in a fridge somewhere, as well. Based on the fact that the bartender clearly knows nothing of the wine selection, and that the press box allegedly doesn't have a wine list, I opted for beer since I had a feeling the wine in the bottles were probably stale given the lack of attention that's paid to them. For what it's worth, the food was good, but the fact that my server was both too lazy to procure a wine list (pretty confident he just made that up....could have checked the POS system worst case) and couldn't muster the strength to turn around and walk three feet to the wine bottles and read off the labels really soured the experience. I'm honestly shocked that someone who lives off of tips would treat a customer like they are too good to perform the most menial parts of their job. Especially in such a large bar that only had 5 people in it on a Monday night. And to top things off he grabbed the fork off my salad plate with his bare hands, actually touched the tines, and set it on my dinner plate when it came out instead of giving me a new fork, after I watched him shaking hands, tending bar, and handling money...not washing his hands at all in between. DISGUSTING! Absolutely will not be back.

Stopped by for lunch after a day of hunting. Server was friendly and we didn't have to wait very long for service. Food came out in a timely manner. Lots of big screens for Football!!

Memorial Day weekend in town going thru Missoula recommended by our hotel manager as a good spot to have breakfast. Yes it is a sports bar and the decor is man caveish but we had a awesome breakfast for 2 that was fresh cooked tasted awesome and served quickly for under 19.00 A great waitress too. The Monte omelet was excellent!

I had a decent breakfast here, it was hot and tasty. However the service doesn't match the food. It was pretty slow considering it was only me, my parents, and two people at the bar at 10:30 in the morning.

I have been to the Press Box many times. I have always had good service and food. It can get very busy during ppv fights or Griz games and service workers can only do so much. They also have a great happy hour. If in Missoula, definitely check it out. You will be back. Oh yeah, they just opened an attached liquor store!

The cons definitely outweigh the pros. The food is mediocre for the prices. Pro: lots of big screen tv's for watching sports Cons: always busy Slow service Bad service (not friendly) Just OK food Won't honor coupons such as campus special Here's the cherry on top, one night I called the Press box to see if they were playing the MMA fights, the man that answered said they were & I could tell they were busy & as I was about to ask him another question the guy says "I don't have time. I gotta go" & he hung up on me. I don't care if you are busy, you don't be rude to a customer & hang up on them. Absolute nonsense & BS if you ask me. Needless to say I will not come here again. This place is fine for if you just want to watch sports- but expect slow & rude service.

Dunno why people hate the service, the girls behind the bar were very attentive, quick, and generous.

Great place with watch sports in Missoula. They've got a lot of events like Trivia every Wednesday night and they're just as equipped as any sports bar in this town. The menu isn't mind blowing but enough to satisfy your sports bar cravings! They've also got meeting facilities and a lot of seating if you want to host a large group.

Went to watch UFC fight and have to late dinner. Food was terrible. Prices were high and atmosphere was typical sports bar, loud and dirty. If you want to have a drink and watch a game it's perfect for that but if you are hungry go somewhere else.

There was 1 bartender & he was slow. They're known for being slow here. They were also having issues with their signals so a couple of the tv's went out. Only redeeming quality about this place was the layout. It's a pretty cool space with different levels for different things. This just isn't the best sports bar I've seen.

Well, I don't go there to watch sports, so maybe my review is skewed, but I go to hang out with friends and have a good lunch and it's always been a good experience. The burgers and fries are way better than Five Guys.

The service at the Press Box has totally taken a dive. Our favorite waitress left and her replacement is a poor substitute. She is not at all friendly and she acts like everything we do or ask is the biggest pain in her ass. As a result, we've found a new place to go out to breakfast. Don't see a compelling reason to go back. Too bad, as we went there about once a week. We used to love eating there. No more.

Quiet tonight. Going to try the quesadilla. Guinness on tap. These guys poisoned me, I hope the health department closes them down
