Just as great as any other Five Guys!

Best Burger and Fries in town. The milkshakes, however, are sub-par. Feel like it should of been $1.99, not $3.99. For $3.99, I should of gotten the blender it was made in, as well.

Five Guys is always consistent. Good in every state! Yummy fresh greasy food!!

Standard five guys food, tasty burgers and fries, fast service. We ordered three little cheese burgers and a large fry. Plenty of food! We also grabbed some peanuts as well. Seemed a little pricier than California which was surprising.

I'm always satisfied when I come to five guys. They're relatively fast and friendly. Their cajun fries are awesome. The only thing I do not like is that it's a la carte. It makes everything expensive, though that's corporates decision and not the restaurant.

I just always feel cheated when I come here. It's over priced thats for sure but I guess it's fun to build your own burger so I won't complain too much. The fries are always the best part of the meal. I recently have been ordering the hot dogs instead of the burgers. I recommend trying them. I think they are more consistent with cooking them AND you can still put all the toppings you want on it.

Five guys make the BEST burgers hands down. No one compares. The drinks are over priced but that's the trade off for a great burger.

Super disappointed... Had been craving a burger all day and was so excited to go so you'd think it would have been amazing. It wasn't. We were the only people in line and somehow they got both of our burger orders wrong. My friend ordered a bacon cheeseburger "all the way" which entails sautéed mushrooms and onions. It was missing the bacon and the mushrooms/ onions. My burger was also missing onions/ mushrooms. When we mentioned it they politely gave us our toppings on the side. The bacon however was the thinnest, most dry, unappetizing bacon I've seen. Next I have to say that the burger itself was disappointing. It lacked flavor and wasn't really notable in any way. As a line cook of 11 years I know that it is not that hard to make a decent burger. On a more positive note the staff was extremely courteous and the restaurant was spotless clean ( thanks to their extremely young busboy, good work kid!). I have been disappointed by 5 guys on multiple occasions now and likely won't be going back. Sticking to Missoula club burgers from now on!!!!

I love the food here, great fries. Wife wasn't a fan, her order was done wrong and the food was greasy in her opinion. We will try it again though

5 Guys serves a great burger but comes up short with their fries and wait time. The fries get soggy fast and they didn't open the 2nd register until their line was out the door. Tip: Do not sit against the windows because the smell of the bathrooms is strong.

This is our favorite ace to eat when we come to town!!! Great tasting burgers, so many fries you can't ever finish them and a fun, friendly staff!!!! So much better than fast food burger places!

The only fast food restaurant I go to is in n out burger. Since they're limited in their locations, I thought I would give five guys burgers a try. While they're pretty good, they're not in n out burger. I was there quite late in the evening, and all the male employees were shouting and hollering and being generally loud, so this might be their shtick, but it was kind of annoying. It seems like they're trying too hard.

LIke advertised, they do one thing very well - burgers and fries. I came here when it first opened and I was amazed at the retro decor and very simple menu. The sacks of potatoes in the seating area was also a nice touch. They have an army of people working behind a counter and the burgers tasted great. I like how you can add toppings for no additional cost and they've certainly got a wide variety of them to choose from. My only gripe about this place is walking out of there smelling like a deep fat fryer.

In and Out vs Five Guys. That was the back and forth battle between friends of mine. I had tried In and Out in Las Vegas, but I had not tried Five Guys till this past weekend (07/10/2011). Luckily, there was a Five Guys next to my hotel in Missoula, MT that fateful weekend and decided to try it. I was like a lost puppy when I stepped foot in that restaurant. Had the feel of In and Out, but I felt so out of place. When I asked questions, the casheir graciously explained how the ordering system worked and I was happy. Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with the cajon spiced fries. Omg! The cajon fries was simply amazing! The burger was quite surprising, but it was so good too. I would have to give my recommendation to Five Guys, since my experience and taste was significantly better than In and Out. Would love to recommend Five Guys over In and Out any day.

Like a lot of places in Missoula--I used to work here. And I'm saying this in earnest: what you see here is exactly what you get. They claim that their potatoes are fresh cut and deep fried fresh for you. They are. (And oh my sweet god, are they delicious) They claim the meat is fresh and never frozen, and smooshed into patties that morning. They are. All the ingredients are processed on site (the green peppers are hand cut, the tomatos are sliced in-house, etc.). They are. They even toast their yummy little buns that are baked especially for the company. Yeah, so I'm a vegetarian. Mostly. And I do like their grilled cheeses. But sometimes the burgers are just too hard to resist. You might think you want a double-burger--but really, what you're already eating is bad enough for you! Lastly, if you don't get Cajun fries, I have nothing else to say to you. I order mine with double-Cajun and vinegar. Oh my God, bless their East-coast hearts. In my house, fries are served with vinegar, Dutch ketchup or nothing--and a restaurant in these latitudes that serves it is the bomb diggity. When I worked here, I got fat. Ok, tangent ended.

Wow! Prepare to be stuffed with good stuff. The burgers and fixins are incredible and fresh. The fries are huge, even when you order a small size. My husband Dwain and I just took two teen-age grandsons there for lunch. They are bottomless pits when it comes to food, and even they were stuffed. We know enough to just have one burger cut in half. It is more than sufficient for us, but the boys went big! Sam and I have a running contest to see who knows the most people in Missoula. It was a tie @ Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The rest must have seen the sign from the freeway and stopped in. My standard for burgers (fast food burgers that is) is Inn n Out. Having said that, these burgers are good, there are a LOT of topping options and the fries are very good. I recommend splitting an order of fries unless you are very, very hungry.

Why I didn't get Cajun fries boggles the mind. I've been wanting to go here since this was the only recommendation I got for stuff to do in DC two years ago (I never made it there...), and when I stumbled upon it after a 4 or 5 mile walk up and down the Clark Fork, I was ECSTATIC. The fries, while plentiful, were also kind of soggy and not particularly tasty. (I'm effectively vegetarian at fast food places, so no burgers for me.) They're closing in on LA... soon I'll be able to try again and see what all the fuss is about. Until then, In 'n' Out, Animal Style... mmmmmmm....

I went to the Five Guys location in Kalispell, MT a while back and really enjoyed it. I'm not much for fast food, but every once in a while this sort of thing really hits the spot. So I had a craving and decided to hit up the location in Missoula. First, it seems expensive; I mean, $21 for two people (2 bacon cheeseburgers, 1 large fry, and 2 fountain drinks). However, that's not really a big deal. The big deal is this: I ordered for carry-out. They called my number, my friend and I drive back to my place, and we unpack the bag. As I'm pulling out the burgers, I notice a HUGE discrepancy between the size of the two sandwiches. Now, remember, these were supposed to be the same sandwich. I have a feeling something's wrong, so I gave the bigger sandwich to my friend and unwrapped my little guy. I pulled the bun apart to find that I'd been given a bun, toppings, and NO FRIGGIN' BURGER. They straight-up forgot to put burger patties on the bun. This wouldn't have been a huge deal, but on this particular day I had a meeting that started in about 20 minutes, so I didn't have time to go back. I called, and after about the 20th ring I got someone there on the phone. I think this guy was the manager, but he seemed really confused: "Five Guys Burgers and Fries, this is [someone]." "Yeah, hi. I was just there and ordered food to go." "Uh-huh." "When I got back to my place just now, I realized there was no burger on my burger." "...seriously?" "Yeah. Seriously. It's a bun with some toppings on it." "Dude." "...dude. So, does this happen often?" "No. No. I don't know where you are, man, but if you come back in we'll totally hook you up." I went in after my meeting and talked to the guy. He asked me if I wanted two burgers and I said no thanks, I just need the one. Then, because I was grumpy (and feeling a little silly) about driving across town to resolve a fast-food mix-up, I asked him for a refund. He stared at me blankly, turned to the grill for a second, then turned back to me and said it would be no problem. He went to the till, handed me an arbitrary sum of money ($15 and change), and then told me to have a nice day. Apparently he'd already forgotten that he was supposed to be making me a burger. I didn't have the energy to deal with it anymore, so I just took my strange refund and left. I doubt I'll be back again.

Yeah, just like it says, Burgers and fries. Tons of fries if you order the large, which is good because a large fry is over $4. All of the free toppings are awesome. The burger was okay but I think I prefer In n Out. My only gripe was the price, I'm cheap...two burgers, one large fry and one regular soda was over $15. The staff was great, very friendly and did a good job of keeping things clean, except for the peanut shells on the floor, but I like that.

What can I say? A fantastic burger! This is the place to get a burger and fries. (The only other items on the menu are hot dogs, grilled cheese, and soft drinks...and free peanuts.) The prices are great ($4.49-$5.79 for a double meat burger and $3.29-$4.29 for a single patty burger). The meat is fresh (not frozen) and the fries are fresh cut right in the store. They even have a dry erase board stating where the potatoes for that day's fries came from. The cost of your burger includes all the toppings you'd like for no extra charge. You can get your fries regular or Cajun style. The "large" fries are said to serve 4 people. NOTE: If you have a peanut allergy, this is NOT the place for you. There are open containers of peanuts throughout the store and the fries are cooked in peanut oil. If you don't have a peanut allergy...go get a burger!

The fries everyone's crowing about are flaccid and overly-greasy; not in a good way. The burgers leave something to be desired, as well. If you're in Missoula and crave a burger, do yourself a favor and go to Flipper's. It's a few blocks away, the prices are reasonable, and it's the best burger in town.

So yeah. The burgers are inexpensive, and they taste pretty good. One major problem, every single time I eat here I get diarrhea. I enjoy diarrhea as much as the next guy, but the fact that this burger exits my body as liquid within 20 minutes of being consumed each and every time concerns me.

Oh, Five Guys. Why must you be so enticing and yummy? The first time we ate at Five Guys, I initially ordered a regular fry and my husband tried to order a large. The cashier stopped and asked us if we'd eaten there before (she obviously knew the answer to this one). We ended up sharing a large fry; and with good reason. A large fry is basically a brown lunchbag full of fries - more than enough for two people. We gorged ourselves (and I got the "little burger," which only has one patty instead of two) and we still couldn't finish our meal. And strangely, the ambience is heightened by the crushed remains of peanut shells all over the floor. It's quite liberating to grab a few peanuts and just toss the shells wherever you like. This is defiitely the place to go if you want a fast food experience. The burgers and fries they pump out are pretty darn tasty. Sorry, Burger King. But Five Guys now has my heart.
