Fiesta Jalisco has about 9 locations in Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley. One of the best for Mexican food. The Hamilton location is run by a local guy and his gringa wife is one of the waitresses. Great service, always crowded. Food is excellent. I think one of the best in restaurant-sparce Hamilton. The food is cooked by actual Latinos who know what they are doing, so take advantage of that fact. I like these guys and the bar of Victorian Casino which provides the alcohol for the diners. This is a good place to eat.

We eat here once in a while when we are hungry and want mexican food. No, it isn't authentic but it is good. The restaurant is clean and bright, the food is predictable (which is good - we know what we will be getting). It is the usual American/Mexican with rice and beans. Service is great, so if you are hungry and don't need that "special" meal, you will get good food and good service here at a good value. And there are plenty of things for kids to eat. Good for small groups, but large groups would have to sit at separate tables.

Not impressed with this place. I called in a to go order and asked if we could get red and green chile sauce on the colorado burrito and was told that she would check with the chef and get it on the burrito. When I got there I asked the girl at the front if we were able to get both chiles and she said she wasn't sure but she would go ask. The chef came out and was not pleased and asked me what I wanted. I repeated my request to have both chile sauces on the burrito and she said "No we don't do that". I asked her if i could get a side of either one of the sauces, and she repeated her "No we don't do that." I couldn't understand how she could turn money away I would have willingly paid 4 or 5 dollars for a side of both sauces but she flat refused and tersely asked if there was anything else i needed. Will not be going back. Found that the food was mediocre and nothing exciting.

Being from souther California we have the best Mexican food. I was a little skeptical about getting Mexican food from Montana being so north.. I ordered the chimichanga off the lunch special it was the perfect portion and amazing!!! The chicken was very moist and had so much flavor and the rice and beans were great! The kids chicken nuggets were not good they were sponge like and chewy for that reason I'm only giving them 4 stars as wells ass I ordered a 7 up and she came back with root beer.. They don't check on you they take your order deliver your food and that's the last you see your server..

We travel to Hamilton, MT 1-2 times per year and always make a visit to Fiesta En Jalisco. They have an awesome selection of food and drinks, and everything is tasty. When I go I usually split a veggie quesadilla with someone and it is both humongous and delicious. Def try them out if you are in the area.

Not authentic by any means but good enough. Not cheap, when u start paying 15 bucks for a burrito u quickly realize that u are nowhere near Mexico. More like Canada prices.

An OK place. Atmosphere is bright fluorescent light awful with plastic booths and typical MT lack of charm. Food is pretty good, not authentic, but tasty. The margs are OK. Anyplace with a casino attached/inside should be avoided at all costs in MT, they are the dregs (and I am not just talking about the clientele), but this one does OK and the restaurant is separated from the casino. I recommend the Burrito Colorado, or anything with Colorado sauce (red). The spiciness is good, the flavor bold, I go back for it. Better than a Chilis, Olive Garden or TGIF but definitely not above 3 stars.

In no way authentic Mexican food; I wouldn't even call this "Tex-Mex". I think the only "Mexican Food" I've had which is worse was in Virginia. Ground beef? Are you kidding? Where's the cilantro, onions, and lime? Bad, just bad,...zero stars.

This is your basic bland boring Mexican food. There is nothing they make that will blow you away unless you spend a lot of time at taco bell. They do have Menudo so that is a plus I will give them that. I have eaten at three of these and I will say the staff is usually very friendly. I can't even imagine anybody saying this is the best Mexican food in Mt.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
