Not sure why Rockets is categorized as Mexican food because the menu is all across the board. There aren't any vegetarian items on the menu but there is an annotation saying that all but one wrap can be made without meat. I really appreciated that the guy behind the counter offered me alternatives when I requested my green curry wrap without chicken. He even let me try the vegetable slaw he suggested adding before I made my decision. He was right! The green curry wrap without chicken but with the vegetable slaw from the Thai peanut wrap is perfect. The wrap was spicy and delicious. I had the half-size wrap and it was more than enough food for me. I'm at once thankful and disappointed that I live thousands of miles away since I'd spend so much money on wraps if there were a Rockets near my office.

I went back there after not having been there in a while, so thought I would give it another go. The wraps that were served were well done and had good flavor. The salsa and chips had a weird taste to the salsa, like it was a bit......off. The "handcrafted sodas" were GROSS though. I don't know if it was the "sweetened with Stevia" part, or what...but the root beer was totally unlike any other root beer I have ever had, and didn't really even taste LIKE root beer. For the wraps, I'll go there to get them to go, but the rest of the offerings we had, it was a pretty sad disappointment.

Had the tomatillo enchilada wrap. Garlic and herb shell was good. Ingredients were tasty could use some cheese or enchilada sauce in there besides just the tomatillo. A ton of rice it was soft and steamed well but not much chicken. Filling dish because all of the rice. Red pepper hummus was a great add on for chips which you don't get a lot of. Black cherry soda to go. No ice. I'll pass next time on the drink. It sucked.

Just so so. It was my first time here. I got the Santa Fe wrap with chicken. The flavors of the salsa were good, but it was very dry and the chicken was flavorless. I will give it another try soon.

Good hearty wraps, good customer service, home made soda, good beer... been twice and loved both experiences.

Just about any food imaginable wrapped in a tortilla - from Thai to curry to Cajun all freshly prepared. A half wrap and side will allow you to try one of their sides or soups on special. And don't forget the housemade sodas. I'm a ginger ale fan and theirs is especially good.

Delicious giner dressing on the wrap. Love the homemade sodas and trying the Saigon salad for the first time.

Wow... I was really pleasantly surprised. First though, it's not really a burrito, it's more accurately a "wrap" which they call it on their menus. Sorry to be technical, but I'm a California guy married for 12 years to my Latina Princess. I know what a burrito is. Nuff said. My only gripe aside (the name) I think I had the Santa Fe Wrap. First, ingredients were outstanding and fresh. Second, the side salad I had was the best one by a mile in Montana. I even loved that when I asked a couple of questions about the dressing options (which they make all of them in-house), they immediately offered up a taste of the one I was interested in on a tortilla chip. Wow... that's class & good style & good service. I tried the house-made root beer. I've recently found myself in a gourmet root beer binge, and it was "ok". Would have been better served over ice I think. It was chilled, but not ice cold like I would prefer. But it was fairly tasty. Everyone else at the table raved about the food... very good, and I highly recommend.

It is always a pleasure if we manage to find ourselves near Billings when Rocket Burritos is open. Driving coast to coast a couple of times per year, this is one of our favorite places to stop. Today it was even better than I remembered... We shared a ginger chicken wrap and a salad which made a perfect lunch for the 2 of us. We'll do our best to make it here again on the return trip - I'll have a month to decide between the ginger again or the green curry!

More of a wraps place than a burrito joint. The flavors are creative but very mild. Still, good wraps. The homemade sodas are the real reason to go - black cherry is a treat. Atmosphere is cool and casual and free wifi is a nice bonus.

good wraps, the BBQ chicken salad was good, but not over the top. lots of different wraps, and all fresh. Great root beer! try some. I wouldn't call it Burritos, wraps is what they do.

Make no mistake. This is the kind of burrito joint that some would rather quantify as a "wraps" place (and those sorts of places likely offend the "taqueria" purists). After all, their establishment is clean and inviting, unlike some of the holes-in-the-wall this gourmand has eaten burritos in (don't get me wrong though... sometimes I love those kinds of places). Their selection doesn't conform to any sort of traditional Mexican-taqueria-authentic menu (whatever that means, really). In the end though... who cares? Their food is great! Every time I travel back to Billings, I make sure I stop by for my old favorite "Hey Pork Chop!" The barbecue sauce and pork bits (with some pineapple to accentuate) burrito is quite dee-lish. The New Orleans-flavored Bayou is pretty tasty too. Definitely worth the effort for a downtown Billings lunchtime selection.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
