The Italian. I could just stop there. It's awesome! However, they've got a lot of great sandwiches and as the past 30 years have rolled by, I've migrated from one sandwich to another. The cheese steak is unique from most others I've had as it includes a sweet/tangy BBQ sauce. Try the Crab Salad sub also. Wonderful! All of their soups are the best in town. I've never ordered one I disliked, but a favorite of ours is the cream of Broccoli. You can now order online and the customization of a sandwich online is easy and ensures accuracy for a take out or delivery order. Delivery is only during lunch. Bottom line: They're good at what they do and that's delivering fresh, delicious sandwiches and soups. Soft, chewy, delicious!!!

Just simply, great sub sandwiches for lunch. Pretty much cannot go wrong with Chalet. It's not much and small, but it's been around in Billings for over 30 years. My favorites are Italian, cheese steak, turkey ranch club, and the crab salad. An 8 inch sub will fill you up, these are big and flavorful sandwiches. They serve soup and also have soup in a bread bowl. The staff and friendly. They have lots of locally made treats and Montana gifts. I love the scotcharoos. During the school year, it's busy when the high schoolers come here for lunch. This place is worth the stop.

Ok stopped today they had a lunch special. And this was fantastic the meet was flavorful. Only down side for me is do I come here our staggering ox? So I guess I will have to share my self between both plus this is closer. Hats off to the staff this is a quality place to eat

Good cold subs. Hot sandwiches not so much. Its all microwaved. That said this is the one place that my wife always orders something better than what I ordered. either way we always like. Good crab salad, good cold cuts, and good potato salad. Order at the counter.

I always get the same thing: krab salad sandwich on a croissant. Yes, it's imitation krab, but I still love it. Add a bag of Baked Lay's regular chips and a cookie and you have a little happiness in a brown paper bag.

I love this place! It's a funny, divey little building but the food is great and always really reasonable. If you're a fan, their crab salad is so tasty!

Great Huckleberry jam! Great sandwiches and cheese and sausage gift boxes that they will send anywhere in the US! You can just give them a date, even a couple months out and they will wait and ship it in when it needs to go out, no hassle or worries.
