The food is amazing. The ambiance leaves plenty to be desired, but I'm so happy to have such a quality Thai restaurant in Starkville I can't even deduct a star for that. Wait staff is friendly and when I get it to go it's always ready fast and so good it's hard to wait to get home and eat it. My boyfriend and I just left and he's already digging into the fried dumplings, saying he would make love to these things. The duck curry is *awesome* and my personal fave. Don't forget to order a Thai iced tea with anything - it's all so good.

As an alumni and a sales rep, I've spent 20 years running the roads of Starkville and wow...this place is consistently amazing. Even if you aren't hardcore Thai, the beef salad and spring rolls are worth the trip alone. The service, spot on. Swift and with a Southern charm. Loved it yet again!

I've tried Thai Siam a few time and have loved everything I've ordered. Recently my girlfriends and I ordered takeout and we each got something different. I tried all the dishes and no one was bad or bland. Favorites: fresh spring rolls, pad see ew, Drunken Noodles, and Pad Thai

Nice servers and really good food. Try the fried calamari it's really good. Its small and intimate, not usually really loud and has a decent selection.

This is the only Thai food I've had, but I was very unsure about trying it out. The pad Thai is excellent! Service is fast and friendly! My only complaint is that it is pricey - then again I don't have anything to compare it to! I will go back!

I try not to grade on a curve just because this is small-town Mississippi, but I love this place and have to give it five stars. The Massaman curry with duck is fantastic, as is the drunken noodle. They have lunch specials that'll run you less than eight bucks for a decently sized portion. The spiciness is pretty mild, so be sure to order it "Thai spicy" if you like some heat. Even then it's not especially hot.

Excellent food. I have been here several times and I am hooked. Best Thai food I have had in years. I highly recommend getting the drunken chicken. The price is very fair for the amount of food that you get. The wait staff is friends and prompt. In a town with very few standout food options I do not see any problem with this place staying open.

I have been driving by every day since school started always wishing it were meal time/I had time to stop and eat. I finally ordered takeout. I did not mind the (longer than expected) wait for my food, because I was enjoying the atmosphere. And as I sat waiting, I watched the servers, who were superbly attentive yet still quite busy, deliver beautiful entrées to customers who were obviously enjoying their dining experience. I really enjoyed the dish I selected from the menu posted on Yelp. I will definitely be back to try more.

One of the few places in Starkville with a gluten free menu. I really enjoy the food. They have thai food as well as sushi.

This place is on point with it's thai food...I come to Starkville often for work and always eat here 1-2x per trip. The Pad Basil with mixed seafood and extra veggies is my go to entree there! I also really like the Seafood Salad and Fresh Spring Rolls! The seafood salad actually has a good amount of mussels, shrimp, scallops, and calamari to split as an appetizer or as a main course if you order a soup or spring roll with it! The Tom Yum soup is great but could use just a touch more spice in my opinion but still really love it! The peanut dipping sauce that comes with the Fresh Spring Rolls is really great too! The also do an amazing version of Tom Kar soup...if you enjoy coconut you will love it! Finally, i do also enjoy the Red Curry with Chicken. Medium spicy is a good level here...not too hot but not mild either...if you want to sweat a lil bit I would suggest going for hot for sure!!!

In a town with limited restaurant choices, Thai Siam is like an oasis in the desert. Great menu choices, great prices, and great fresh food. I recommend this place to all visiting friends, family and business associates. They serve the best lunch in Starkville, most under 10 bucks with a drink. I enjoy the shrimp drunken noodles, pad thai, pad basil with extra basil, and the curries. I've never ordered sushi, but I don't order a hamburger at KFC either...I can vouch for the THAI portion though, which is great!

For my first time in a Thai restaurant, I definitely enjoyed it! I was not sure what to expect besides overly spicy food, but I was able to pick the level of spyciness of my meal. Our waitress was overly nice and very helpful with my questions about the dishes. I wil definitely be coming back to give more meals a shot and open up my horizons by tasting different dishes! Unfortunately they dont have military discount... but I suspect it is because they dont know what it is... haha

I've been about 5 times over the past few months. If, for nothing else, I go back for the duck pad thai- the duck breast was very finely seared and crispy on the outside and pink on the inside. There are so many things on the menu. So many salads, soups, and other Thai dishes in various spicy and mild permutations. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to try new foods.

Excellent Thai food! Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. My favorite is the Laab Salad. It is a must! My husband is a fan of the Pad Thai with chicken. We have enjoyed everything we've tried!

I go there often, probably 7-8 times already. They have really good food. I would recommend to get Thai Ice tea, egg spring rolls. Drunken Noodle is always a best choice...It never goes wrong. Thai spicy level---If you like spicy food.

Have been here about 5 times since they opened. The last time I ordered duck curry, which was great. The service has always been good too. If you order sushi as an appetizer, be sure to tell them if you want it before your meal. Egg rolls and wontons were also good for appetizers.

Thai Siam is by far my favorite restaurant in Starkville. Starkville is small and more than half of the restaurants are chains and franchises. The rest are locally owned and their are one or two that are decent. However, we live in the south and these restaurants serve a lot of fried food. My boyfriend and I try to eat healthy but most places have cooked down vegetables void of nutrients and swimming in butter and most everything is or can be fried. Thai Siam offers fresh food; their vegetables are still crisp and a prominent part of any dish. My favorite is the Tom Yum soup. It's a kind of sour soup with tender shrimp and vegetables. The drunken noodles are also good. Go during lunch because their prices are really good. The drunken noodles feature wide egg noodles sauteed in a brown sauce with vegetables and your choice of meat. The sauce balances sweetness and savoriness. I give this restaurant only 4 stars because the sushi is not so great. I believe they should not serve it and instead, focus only on their regular menu. I work at a sushi restaurant in Starkville and the sushi at Thai Siam does not compare. Also, the pad thai, a signature dish of Thailand, is not so great. It is way too sweet and does not incorporate as many peanuts or as much lime as I traditionally like. Other than these flaws, the food and service is especially great. My boyfriend and I come so many times, the server/owners know us pretty well and cater to our needs even without us asking. (My boyfriend likes his dishes spicy, so they always bring out a little bowl of crushed chili flakes.)
