This place a lot for what u pay for. Not quite expensive, fair price and the whole dish is full of fried rice and about 2/3 of whatever meat u order. Food is good and that yum sauce is good too. Been here 2 times.

Very decent place. The hibachi shrimp and steak meal will set you back about ten bucks, and apparently the drinks aren't included. However, you get the shrimp and steak, a heap of fried rice, sweet carrots, and a small salad. You also get two small cups of pink sauce and some soy sauce. I felt like all of that was substantial for what I paid, and keep going back. As far as the service is concerned, I'd just like to say that this is a takeout place. Don't go in there expecting hand-and-foot service. I've actually seen some college kids go in there and argue with these people because they thought their food was taking too long, but I've never waited more than 10 minutes for anything.

Once you go once, you'll find yourself there all the time. So addicting! I recommend chicken fried rice. Just $7.09 for a large plate filled up. It's usually enough for 3 meals for me!

The hibachi chicken is good, and you get a lot of it for the price (~$6), but it is mostly rice and a little pile of chicken. The terriaki sauce on the chicken is tasty, and the pink sauce is good too. The rice isn't to oily, which I appreciate. The side of steamed sweet carrot slices is different, but nice. the salad was ok just simple iceberg and a couple slices of other veggies, but the ginger dressing was down right tasty. Lastly, I tried a tuna roll. It was fine, nothing mindblowing though. If anything, my only notable thought was that the temperature of the roll (raw) was a little closer to room temp than I would like to see.

I eat here occasionally because it is close to work and I love Japanese food. The food is decent but, seriously, only decent. Then, they want to charge you for extra Teriyaki and Pink Sauce. Come on!? I also once saw a group of ladies leave because they wouldn't give them water cups and wanted them to buy bottles of water. They have almost always been a little cold/rude. Maybe it is a cultural difference but I have never felt that way at many of the other Japanese places in the towns I've lived. If they would just revamp their customer service it would be a better experience.

I must second what some of the reviewers below have said. The menu is extremely limited beyond various meats available with rice platters (Hibachi). The very few side items come quite small and are sometimes unappetizing. Tiny little iceberg lettuce salads and/or cooked carrots? Meh. The dinners themselves come in little styrofoam boxes with the meat (I usually get chicken) caked in too much soy/terayaki/whatever sauce in one divider area, and with the rice heaped in the big divider area. The word "okay," rather than "delicious," is the word that comes to mind while eating these. This place certainly is no "best-kept secret" or anything. What we have here is a suitable cheap option for an occasional lunch or dinner when you need a quick meal, when you don't feel like Chick-fil-A or other fast food places, and/or when you absolutely can't stand the thought of anything at home and yet don't want to wait a long time for your food at a bigger restaurant. Your dollar goes a long way here in volume, but less far in taste and options. Limited seating capacity. C+

The food's fine, but I wish their menu was broader -- mostly fried rice, hibachi dishes, and sushi. (How does any Japanese place not have any noodle dishes?) I ordered two specialty sushi rolls, and the caterpillar was pretty good, but I wouldn't order the volcano again. It was loaded down with so much extra topping that you almost couldn't really taste the sushi. For a place that's styled mostly as a take-out place, I thought the prices were a little steep -- the two sushi rolls set me back about $20. At that amount, you might as well go to Umi, which has better sushi for around the same price.

Great prices for the amount of food you receive! Good rice and hibachi have never had their sushi. I also like their pink sauce delicious. One problem I have is the servers are extremely rude.
