Thai Lotus Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Panang curry with beef was flavorful and plenty. It had shredded coconut mixed in the sauce which was very nice. Thai tea was great too and large. They had a cute and freindly little dog running around the joint.

The food here was edible, but I have had much better Vietnamese food in Atlanta. We came here because of the good reviews, but I guess this is the best you can get around Gulfport. The service was horrible because when we walked in they didn't even say Hi and just gave us the menu and never even refilled our water. The Thai Tea was good. I ordered the rice with pork (com suon) and my bf got the noodles (bun bo hue). My pork was very oily and just didn't taste like how it's supposed to and my bf said his noodles were ok but they didn't give enough noodles. The prices were pretty over-priced and you could get much BETTER food in Atlanta for a cheaper price. I don't think I would come back here unless I have a terrible craving for Vietnamese food because the service and food weren't the best. Also the restaurant is very hot that I was sweating the whole time I was eating.

The owners seem to be very nice, and the food looked to be very authentic. I just didn't really like it. The menu has a lot of choices, and everything that came out was very fresh. Perhaps I just don't like Thai food? The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food that you get.

Ordered the Pho with brisket, Singapore Noodles and Thai Tea. All pretty good, I will say that the Singapore noodles were a bit salty but I still enjoyed every bite :)

I like Thai food, I like Thai Lotus but its not the best Thai place I've ever been. Some of the food is a little bland and the service can be awfully slow. The 8.95 lunch special makes it easy to over look any missteps though.

You want Thai food. This IS the place. The staff is very friendly. Always keep you drink filled. The food is super excellent. Cooked and spiced the way you wanted. The soups are super good. They put them in a very large bowl for you and almost anything you want in it. I would recommend the crab and cheese eggrolls. The curry dishes are great. The red curry is the best. Nice and spicy. Prices are ok. Sometimes it does take a bit for the food to come out, but it is worth the wait.

You don't go here for Ambiance. You go for the FOOD! It is AMAZING!!! We were the only people in there, which made me nervous. But I'm glad I stuck around. This is the BEST THAI I EVER HAD! and I eat a lot of Thai! We had the Panang Tofu Curry and the Pad Thai, Level 3 and it was spicy and delicious! IF you are NOT into spice...stick with LEVEL 1. Have you ever had food so good it just made your insides feel good and you were full but you still wanted more!?!? THIS IS IT!!! I cannot say enough good things about here...other than it could be a little "Cozier"... If you like Thai...you will NOT be disappointed!

We were not impressed with their Thai dishes. "Pad See Ein" was not the "Pad See Eew" that they said "same". Their Pho was not great but was decent. It is difficult to find a good Thai place anywhere in MS.

Wow was I impressed! GREAT service, HUGE portions, and the spring rolls--I'm a junkie for spring rolls. I'd get the bun (vermicelli) and spring rolls here everyday if I didn't fear losing my affinity for them. (This happened both yellow curry & jalapeno in anything, so I don't want to overdo anything else!) I brought a friend with me who had never tried Vietnamese or Thai food, so he very cautiously ordered the fried rice. After trying my bun/vermicelli, he quickly regretted it. He also rethought his initial reaction to the spring rolls (I didn't care--more for me!). I love it when a restaurant with food I love turns someone who's leery & cynical with presumptuous & unfounded opinions into a food explorer! I will be back here again & again for sure. I couldn't ask for more than both Vietnamese AND Thai in the same place, except for maybe a bigger stomach. :)

Thai Lotus has the best food on the coast! Easily my favorite place to eat. Service is great, I love the server (Nha) he keeps you laughing in between your meal. Anne is so sweet, she would do anything just to make sure you are having a wonderful experience. They all remember what meals you like and how you like it. If you like extra lime or extra sauce with your entree it won't be long until you find yourself not having to ask for it. The Pho is made fresh and especially careful. You will notice that the broth has no fat or fat oils in it, unlike many do at other restaurants. Maybe that's why some people may find it a little different tasting, because it is a healthier made soup. Some dishes I would recommend are the spring rolls, chicken satay, fried rice with steak cubes (comes with homemade sweet soy sauce), Pho Dac Biet, Special Thai Salad, Singapore noodles, pad see ew, and panang curry (pineapples!).

The food is always great... The service is always terrible! Bring some bottled water or drink with you or you may never get a refill. Also they will kill flies on the window while you are eating right next to you. Disgusting. The only way to enjoy this food is to get it to go! Such a shame.

Thai Lotus is my new favorite place. I had forgotten about the delights of Thai food until I passed by a few weeks ago and after enjoying Indian Curry at another establishment. I was here like 6 years ago and was disappointed but I thought I would give it another shot. I understand it has a new Owner. What a difference! Today was my 3rd visit in less than 2 weeks. I am so excited about it that I spent time looking up thaI cuisine online to educate myself. So far I have had a green curry and a yellow curry. Both were big steaming bowls of creamy goodness. Full of fresh vegetables and chicken. I understand it is very authentic. I had kaffir lime leaves in the green curry..so good. The restaurant is run by a very nice helpful lady and had friendly staff. I feel like I'm at home here

Thai Lotus is the only restaurant serving Thai AND Vietnamese food. Figuring my mom wanted Thai food for lunch, we went there, and got greeted by a host/server with a great sense of humor. So what we both had were red curry and the Vietnamese soup. The soup I had was full of herbal flavors and it definitely tasted like the cuisine of Vietnam! The food was so delicious that we would definitely come back here again! The service has been unbelievable and my food was very well delicious.

  • Robin G.

Food is delicious but the service is HORRIBLE. The last 3 times I have been here, one of the employees sits at a table and watches YouTube videos on his phone, loudly. The servers rarely check on you and if you want desert, you have to yell at them to get their attention, otherwise they leave you alone and don't check on you.

Most authentic and by far the best pho around the coast area. Haven't really tried other food, so I can't speak for anything else.

GREAT PLACE! Thai Lotus doesn't look impeccable clean on the interior or exterior, but the food and service is great! The entire staff is so friendly. Today my husband and I dined in at the Thai Lotus Restaurant in Gulfport, MS and the owner and his staff were celebrating the Vietnamese New Year. They had an entire spread of free foods that were shared with all of the guests of the restaurant. I thought that was so sweet. It made me like the place even more. The only reason Thai Lotus is not receiving a five star rating from me is due to the interior/exterior appearance of the restaurant and that when you order food to go it is no where near the quality that it is when you eat-in. Pro's: -Great service, friendly staff, inviting environment. -Great food. Con's: -Less than perfect interior and exterior appearance. -Food is subpar when you order it to-go, but superb when you dine-in.

Got the yellow Thai curry, added pineapple and shrimp-I would have asked for "no potatoes" if I had known (tasted 'frozen, leftover'). All in all- Great dish. Thai Tea was perfect.

Lovely little place! The owners are so lively and animated they make you feel so welcome. The menu is 100% authentic. Today I dined on the pad Thai. First time trying it, and it definitely won't be my last. Everything on their menu looks and sounds delicious, it's so hard to choose what to try. My husband had the pho ga. It had very interesting flavor...cloves or cinnamon im guessing. It was very unique and very tasty. Our only downfall to this visit was that it temperature of the establishment itself was slightly on the warm side. Our food was served piping hot (which is a good thing) but when trying to eat it in a hot environment kind of makes for a bellyache. But it's no biggie. Can't wait to go back and try something else off their menu.

Well I read all the wonderful reviews but being that we are not familiar with this food at all it is hard to say how good everything is so here goes. My sweet boyfriend and I have been talking about going here since we moved to Gulfport it's so close we can walk so we tried it. We had the green curry, ( not for me and surprisingly he loved it) wanted the papaya salad but they didn't have it so we settled I the special house salad which is the second one on the menu and is $13 bucks but I really enjoyed that and I had the clam dish and it was huge but again it was good but not necessarily for me. I would definitely order the salad again. Nice service. Not fancy but clean. I will go back and try more because he really loved it. Four stars because everything was good. Probably just not my thing. I'm a sushi and chinese kinda girl.

I generally don't give 5 stars but when your partner tells you it was the best Panang curry he's ever had... well... dang! I had the beef broccoli which was excellent save for the heavy hand with the fish sauce. The server indicated that the dish would be spicy, but he was mistaken and admitted it later. We had the Spring Roll (Vietnamese) which was excellent save for the lack of mint! I miss the mint. Okay... had to remove a star but the food is excellent and certainly unexpected in a beach resort far away from the big coastal cities.

Came here based on the reviews and maybe I came on some bad nights, but twice in a row this place just disappointing. Decor: I wasn't used to the Gulfport area and almost missed the restaurant, but it is visible from the road and the interior is set up as any Vietnamese restaurant I've been in. Definitely more inviting looking that "What the Pho" Taste wise: Okay, here were the issues. They ran out of food items when I was there, thus limiting my ability to try what I wanted. So I had a basic Pho and honestly, something about the pho didn't taste right to me. I had the same issue the second time, I found myself adding items to forge a new flavor. This isn't common for me as I eat pho often in my hometown. I left both times with a big "meh" feeling, somewhat regretting I had driven that long distance for that. Overall experience: Maybe I had a bad experience, but for how much people rave about it, I just don't know. I found myself going to "What the Pho" and "Pho" more often as a result of my poor experiences here. Really though, I think for how scattered the reviews are for the 3 main Vietnamese restaurants in the area - I suggest trying all three Vietnamese restaurants and finding the one YOU like.

Best food in Gulfport that I've had. The people who work here are incredibly nice and the food is amazing. We ordered shrimp fried rice, mixed vegetable stir fry with beef and white rice, and sticky rice mango. All of it was delicious and they gave us great portions at a more than fair price. I will be recommending this place from now on because it is fabulous. Thanks, Thai Lotus, for our first wonderful food experience in Gulfport!

  • Christine R.

They just redid the inside of the restaurant and added some booths which helped the comfort a lot. The menu is a bit spread out but when it comes down to the food it is all good. I love the pho and the curries.

I love Thai Lotus! Every time I come back to the Coast from school, I have to stop in. Anh knows my boyfriend and I because we come in so often. One time they were cutting up a watermelon for their own lunch but gave us a couple of slices to eat. My favorite thing to get is the Tom Kha soup. It has great flavor. Their portions are super generous no matter what you get. The bo luc lac with fried rice is another one of my favorites.

Really good food with fairly slow service. Great local option for vegetarians. The panang curry with tofu and noodle stir fry with tofu were great entres. The tofu spring rolls are excellent with their yummy dipping sauce. The service was friendly and helpful but definitely not fast. We had to wait for a while to get a carry out container and then had to wait again to pay the bill. I would definitely eat here again in spite of the time. The food is awesome.

Gulfport, Mississippi, probably isn't know for its Thai or Vietnamese cuisine, but this place was about as good as I could have hoped for. I had the Panang Curry, which was flavorful and a little spicy. Every dish looked good, and the menu options were plentiful. I would certainly go back and try the Pho. Disclaimer: this review is based solely on the quality of the food. Admittedly, my party generally felt that the restaurant was not particularly clean (although they did have an A from the health department on their wall) and the service was poor for a 3 pm on a Monday afternoon. Still, if you're in the Gulfport area, I highly recommend. And it's vegetarian friendly.

Its too bad I could not give them 5 stars! The Thai Basil Clams was truly one of the best things I have ever eaten. Simply outstanding! The fresh spring rolls were what you expect and suffers most from being per-made so the rice paper was a bit dry. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Place could also use a bit of TLC but I keep going back to those clams....Simply perfect!

Moved to the area last year and visited a few times. The service was terrible every single time. The employees are often too busy watching TV or eating to serve you properly. Always order everything you need and an extra water at the beginning because after you've received your food you can forget any service after that. I continued to visit because it was the only place nearby with pho. After I discovered another restaurant 15 minutes away I stopped visiting. This week I was in the area and decided to give it another shot. I went in with low expectations... The service was as bad as ever. One of the items I ordered and am very familiar with looked and tasted as if it had been sitting out. I didn't eat any of the dish after the first taste and immediately notified the server of the issue. She interrogated me about how many times I've had it and my understanding of Vietnamese food. She then informed me that she was bringing me the replacement I had requested but that she was still charging me for the original dish as well. When I asked to speak to the owner she informed me that she was the owner. After a debate over should I be charged or not the server called the police on me. There had been no raised voices or inappropriate actions. While waiting on the police the actual owner walked in and agreed that I shouldn't be charged. Do yourself a favor and drive to Kim Long in Biloxi.

Decent food - the pad thai is great - but the service is always lacking because it will be packed out every day for lunch and they may only have 1 or 2 people working the floor. You're lucky if you get a refill on your drink. The inside of the place looks pretty rundown, too.

Say, do you like Thai food? Of course you do, that's why you are reading this goddamn review. Well, if you came here for Thai food, you'd be sadly misguided, because this place is authentically Vietnamese and have some delicious ass Viet food that you may be stupidly missing out on. We came here on. Tuesday evening. Okay so it smells a little funny when you first walk in but just stick around and you will get used to it. The spring roll was good. They could have had a bigger peanut sauce bowl. Our server kept on forgetting the spring rolls. Bless her heart. The pad Thai that my friend got was ok, but there was nothing Thai about it. I got the beef vermicelli and holly shit it was the best fucking decision of my life. Yes fuckers, now I can die happy. The sauce smelled so nasty it made me disgusted and titillated at the same time. Sort of like looking at your own shit before flushing the toilet, repulsive, yet surprisingly drawn in. Except you don't want to eat your feces. Hopefully you don't you sick fucks. The smell itself is hard to describe. Rotted fish sauce, sort of like fermented decomposed menstrual bloody-ish but with a fishy twist. YUM!! Anyway the whole bowl of smelly sauce was dumped enthusiastically into the vermicelli bowl and the whole thing was sucked down in minutes.

Great variety of thai and vietnamese dishes in a non-descript storefront. Courteous staff. Thai tea, pho, and thai spring rolls are the best choices. Best restaurant in Gulfport.

  • Lynn Z.

Great food. Spring rolls can be addictive. They let you BYOB too. Just be sure to bring you own glasses unless you don't mind drinking out of plastic wine glasses. Service is good. If you come in when the place is packed. Be prepared to wait. Cooked to order food is worth the wait. Will definitely be back.

Overall: Decent Asian food in this area of Mississippi Pros * Bun Thit Nuong meat was grilled nicely * Bo luc lac meat is flavorful * Pho is okay Cons * Some of the dishes come with lettuce and/or tomato - their veggies look very sad. Barely green lettuce and under ripe tomatoes are not appealing to eat. * They add lots of water to their sriracha sauce - gross, that's not how sriracha is supposed to be. Sidenote: * When the menu says the dish is spicy, its really spicy! They don't kid around with this stuff. Plus they don't warn you either, which would be nice to know.

We wanted to try something new and we're happy to try this restaurant! Although it looks shabby from the outside, the food is very good and the place is clean. Best pho soup I've ever had! Can't wait to try them again!

Friendly staff, food was basic. Not worth a return trip. Egg roll was burnt. Inexpensive though.

The wait is entirely too long the food is fairly good but if you're in a hurry for lunch do not attempt to go here and if there's not a line at the cash register to pay you better jump up there and pay even though you're not done eaten or you'll never get out of the building

  • Megan T.

This place has the best Thai food I have ever had. The people are great and always make you feel very welcome, even when you have a loud 2 year old. They also offer BYOB so you can bring your own alcoholic beverages!

in gulfport spending the weekend and really wanted asian! saw high rating on yelp so i decided to try it out. came here by myself and ordered the thai sweet and spicy coconut soup with noodles and shrimps. it tasted okay. nothing special and there were barely any noodles. definitely not worth $14. and the server was very nice to every other table. except me. i received pretty much no service. no greeting or whatsoever. he never came back to check on me or refill my drink. dont understand how this place receives such high ratings when the food is so average. i have never reviewed any restaurants on yelp before but this place was so bad that i had to write something!

  • Jessica b.

I was skeptical given they serve Thai and Vietnamese food in the same restaurant, but then I remembered that I'm in the South and that kind of thing happens here (Japanese/Chinese restaurant, anyone?). Anyway, the Pho was great. The broth was really tasty. I was rich and savory with a hint of maybe cardamom? The meat portions generous. I was hoping for some tendon, but no luck. My husband had the Thai red curry which was also excellent and the portion was huge. So glad I have a go to place in Biloxi for Pho. Having a great place for Thai is an added bonus. Bonus for finding both in the same pace and ending that search fast!

I recently moved, and Thai Lotus will be one of the few things I really miss about Gulfport. To find truly authentic thai cuisine in this area was surprising in itself, but add to that phenomenal food and friendly service and you've got a winner! The pho (Vietnamese soup) is delicious, and the Pad Thai, Pad Rad Nah, and Thai Fried Rice never disappointed. One word of caution on the heat levels when asked, 1-10 is a little more like 1-50. I really love spicy food, but I also like to taste the flavor of the dish over the spice. It only took me a couple times to figure out that when I ordered an 8 it was more like a 20, so my normal spice level here is 4-5 and is perfect. Stop by for lunch (come early) and enjoy complimentary egg drop soup and crab egg roll with your meal. The soup is the best I've had.

They sell Thai and Vietnamese dishes here! The vietnamese spring rolls tasted fresh and were yummy! I also ordered the pad thai which was a bit greasy for my liking but I still enjoyed it! Service was quick and attentive and the gentleman, who I believe was the owner was there cracking jokes with the customers.

I have eaten here several times in the past, and I have enjoyed all of my meals here. The pho hits the soupy noodley spot, and the sandwiches are yum. None of them were overwhelmingly great.... that is until I tried their Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. The Pad Thai is delightfully funky with fish sauce and other traditional Vietnamese/Thai seasonings and herbs. It had large chunks of meat, vegetables, and seafood. It was one of the best versions of this dish I have eaten in recent years. The Tom Yum soup was packed with complex flavor notes as well. They use shiitake mushrooms in the soup instead of the boring white button variety. I love the big chunks of tomatoes.

Ordered their Panang Chicken Curry. The curry sauce is good but not enough chicken. For $10 I expect the portion of the chicken more than half cup instead there's more onions, bell peppers, and other fluff

WHOA!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? GOURMET THAI-VIET IN MISSISIPPI? Who knew? A shabby exterior hides a pretty and very clean but simple restaurant. Very good shrimp with tofu -- perfectly cooked. Excellent spring rolls with tofu... warm and chewy. Pretty good BBQ pork with noodles and vegetable. And now the Pho.. GTFO!!!! I've eaten this dish in over 60 restaurants in the US.. 25 or so in Dallas, 10 in Houston and Pho places in more than 6 other states... I am telling you this to establish my credentials for what I am about to say.... This is probably the best bowl I've ever had. Why?.... The broth in this stuff was AMAZING! (and I don't use all CAPS very often). I can't even describe the flavor and all the herbs and spices that ascended to my weak palate while slurping this liquid from the Gods...my GF was sitting there telling me that I eat like a pig when I was sucking down this amazing bowl of soup.. and I told her to STFU -- you are disturbing this amazing eating experience that I am having right now. HA!!! This stuff is just Holy Hell in a bowl!!!... Good noodles, delicious and tender brisket, excellent onions and other veggies in it... oh, man. This place is run by a Viet lady and her son Ho.... Ho is the waiter and he's a good one. Thai Lotus is as good an as authentic as it gets. Best place I ate at in Gulfport-Biloxi... nothing even close. Eat here now!

If the scale were more flexible, I would say a 3.75 is where Thai Lotus lands, but I'll round up for good measure. They have SO many menu options (and vegetarian friendly choices) that it's almost overwhelming! The food came out almost immediately; it was so fast that I was actually confused as to how they prepared three meals so quickly. The portions were huge, the server was delightfully friendly, the food was good. A nice find after trolling a "touristy beach" town for a late lunch.

The food was pretty good, but our experience was a bit frustrating. When we first ordered, we decided on chicken pho, rice with grilled lemon grass chicken, thai fried rice with beef, and the panang curry. A few minutes after we placed our order, the owner came out to apologize that they were out of bell pepper for the curry. My mother really wanted the bell peppers with the curry, so she ended up just switching to chicken pad thai. After a bit the lady came back out to inform us that they were also low on lemon grass chicken.. She instead suggested my father order gao xao saute. Thing is, she didn't inform him that it was completely different and extremely spicy. The only similarity was that it was chicken and came with rice. It was way too spicy for him so he couldn't eat it. The pad thai was pretty good, and it was still tasty as leftovers the next day. I didn't taste the pho, so I couldn't say anything about that. The thai fried rice was very good though. They gave a massive portion for my rice, and I'm embarrassed to admit that I ate it all.. Everyone there was friendly, but it was just annoying that they seemed to be out of everything when it was still fairly early. Also a warning on spiciness would have been helpful. If I return to Gulfport, I'll probably still order some take out from here. The rice and pad thai are too good to pass up on.

I went here for lunch this afternoon. I had the Thai Tea, House Pho and Condiments for the Pho, which was Bean Sprouts, Lime, Thai Chiles and Cilantro, and the food was very cheap. The Pho Soup was huge and it had Rice Noodles, Beef Balls, slices of Beef Brisket, Basil, and Onions in Beef Stock. It was delicious, and Thai Tea was sweet and delicious and huge too. I think its the only Thai/Vietnemese Restaurant on the coast and it is the best. I will definetly go back soon.

Thai Lotus offers fresh and well-prepared traditional Thai dishes that is among the best in the country, with my recent residences in DC, North Dakota and Knoxville as comparisons. The classics (pad, tom yum, etc.) are perfectly cooked, with excellent cuts of meat. High quality here, you don't get stuck with stringy gristle, just tender cuts. Their Pho and soups are especially outstanding and large-portioned. For the price, it is a bargain. The decor or view is not what you are paying for, so don't complain. If this restaurant was paying Beverly Hills rent then you'd be likewise getting a stroke-inducing check instead of a fair price as they have here. And actually, they've recently spiffied up the place a little. I believe you should only complain when you don't get what you pay for...this is an awesome bargain. They also do a lot of takeout business if you prefer. Give them a try! Best Thai on the Coast for sure, and in my opinion, best in the south!

I have gone back three straight days for dinner for their new Bánh mi station. They offer several traditional Bánh mi style sandwiches which are to die for. I cant get over the grilled pork and grilled shrimp( **** 1/2 stars) the only reason its not a 5 star review is the bread could be a bit better, but I am not complaining.

Been here a few times since my last review, and I can honestly say I'm falling more and more in love with this place every time. After hearing many wonderful reviews for this establishment, I was so shocked to see the place be well, not as busy as I imagined it to be! Anyway, look pass the out dated architecture, this place is the B O M B. Service was excellent, and the portions are adequate. I was feeling ambitious and got the Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle soup), fairly spiced; but the waitress told me that it's not meant to melt your sockets (just for the consumer's token) but you can always defy how spicy you would like your meal to be. Anyway, I hope Thai Lotus isn't going anywhere because it is DEF a regular of mine!

Above average Vietnamese fare. 3.5 stars really. The spring rolls were fresh and tasty but nothing really different. The pho was very good a tad heavy on the anise but loaded with meat which was a nice change. The staff was quick and attentive. Thai lotus is definitely worth the price $10 including tax for a very nice meal.

As other reviewers have said, the atmosphere of the place isn't that great. It reminds me of a slightly nicer high school cafeteria. The food however, is excellent. It's not the best Thai you'll ever eat, but it's definitely a great option for those of us in the Gulfport area. The green curry at a spicy level of 5 was just hot enough to keep my interest without sacrificing any of the other flavors in the dish. I got a second dish, and I'm not sure what it is. It's not the chicken satay that I ordered, but some stir-fried chicken dish. It is, however, delicious. If you're calling in an order like I did, make sure to swing by and pick up a menu first so you can order using the item numbers. It can help to avoid confusion. I'd definitely recommend trying the place. If they delivered, I'd be in heaven.

Freaking delicious. Nothing much to look at but the food is so so so so good! I will most definitely go back. Food is great, service is good, prices totally reasonable.

    I. Love. This. Place. I love Thai food. I have missed Thai food since moving away from home. This is a great option to the usual suspects in Gulfport. This is another place that you can bring in your own wine. They love for you to sit down and order the thai too. They do have a buffet of Chinese (and I say that loosely) food, but give the Thai a try! We have had the Pad Thai. Red Curry and Yellow Curry. The Red Curry is fabulous. I could drink that broth everyday and never get tired of it. I also have a real weakness for crab rangoon. This place has a spin on it that I keep craving. Crab and cheese egg rolls. Delicious. I cannot go in there without ordering at least one order. If my husband wants some, we have to order two. I plan to try as much of the menu I can. I do not recommend the chicken satay. It was SO dry, and the peanut sauce didn't quite make up for it. Not a big deal, when it comes to the rest of the menu. Asian menus do not mean BUFFET. Order off the menu, sit and relax... you just might be surprised.

Great place for Thai food. Not many to choose from in the area but the one place (Thai Lotus) is a hit. Lots to choose from. The beef panag and Yellow curry was awesome... Will be trying the Pad Thai or Pad-se-ew sometime next. Great place that I'll be going back to time and time again

I had an order of chicken Pad Thai and was not very impressed. I didn't like the noodles or the sauce. The spring rolls tasted like every other spring roll I've had. I'll go back and give this place one more chance.

Thank you Remy O for reviewing!!! I can have Thai (or Vietnamese) for lunch now. I tried the buffet, just to get an idea of the sauces. Since then I've been working my way through the menu. Red Curry is delish!! Pad Se Ewe is a bit different than I'm used to, but still very good. I went for the Pho Ga last time and absolutely loved it! The waiter added Hoisin and Sriracha to it, and it completely changed the flavour.

I had gone there for dinner one evening just looking for a place to eat not really knowing anything about the place. I ordered the thai fried rice and it was just ok. The rice was hard to eat not being done enough. Above all the appetizer, tofu spring roll was really good. Next time I will order a double on that.

Thai food in Gpt, FTW!!! Im not much for buffets but the menu has plenty to offer on vietnamese and thai offerings if buffets arent your thing either! Saturday night i decided to get the red curry for takeout, hoping that it would live up to my expectations and i was not disappointed!! It was delicious, a huge portion and only 8.95!! Like Remy said, finally now in Gulfport we have a place where we can get our fix without having to drive to Biloxi!! 5 minutes from me so i will be sure to make this place a regular of mine!

Panang curry with beef was flavorful and plenty. It had shredded coconut mixed in the sauce which was very nice. Thai tea was great too and large. They had a cute and freindly little dog running around the joint.

They just redid the inside of the restaurant and added some booths which helped the comfort a lot. The menu is a bit spread out but when it comes down to the food it is all good. I love the pho and the curries.

The wait is entirely too long the food is fairly good but if you're in a hurry for lunch do not attempt to go here and if there's not a line at the cash register to pay you better jump up there and pay even though you're not done eaten or you'll never get out of the building

in gulfport spending the weekend and really wanted asian! saw high rating on yelp so i decided to try it out. came here by myself and ordered the thai sweet and spicy coconut soup with noodles and shrimps. it tasted okay. nothing special and there were barely any noodles. definitely not worth $14. and the server was very nice to every other table. except me. i received pretty much no service. no greeting or whatsoever. he never came back to check on me or refill my drink. dont understand how this place receives such high ratings when the food is so average. i have never reviewed any restaurants on yelp before but this place was so bad that i had to write something!

  • Anna S.

The owners seem to be very nice, and the food looked to be very authentic. I just didn't really like it. The menu has a lot of choices, and everything that came out was very fresh. Perhaps I just don't like Thai food? The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food that you get.

We were not impressed with their Thai dishes. "Pad See Ein" was not the "Pad See Eew" that they said "same". Their Pho was not great but was decent. It is difficult to find a good Thai place anywhere in MS.

I don't know why it took me so long to try out this place! It was really good for lunch, and you get a lot of food for the price. We were in and out fast because of the quick service. Highly Recommend Thai Lotus.

    I. Love. This.
