I thought there are many Korean there in MS and thought any Korean restaurant would be good. I found this one on Yelp only to find there bibimbap taste so bad. Not sure about others though, really don't recommand.

Hole in the wall place with a great lunch special. I got beef bul go gee on several occasions, regular med and spicy and they were all great

So, it's been a little challenging to find a decent place that doesn't have that many bad reviews 1 and 2, where 95% of their items aren't fried. IMO, it can go either way when finding an ethnic restaurant in an area where it's not that diverse. This place is not too far from our place and SUPER close to base. We ordered: - Steamed dumplings - Korean sushi roll - Bulgogi plate -Galbi/Kalbi plate I feel like we ordered more but this is all I can remember. Their portions are pretty big, especially the dumplings and sushi roll. I mean, it's enough to split between 3 or 4 people. Unless you're Samoan, then it's enough for 2! Hahahaha! The plates are enough to split. Meat isn't dry and it's very flavorful. You get a bunch of the pickled sides which I love. The hubby? Not so much. I took away one star for the service, while she was sweet, it took a very long time to get waited on and to get our food. I also wish they had music playing.. It was kind of awkward. Would I go back? YES! Planning a trip soon, actually!

Came here with a friend! Being from Houston I needed some variety in my life and I love Korean food so I had to give it a shot! It wasn't the best of course, but it was good and decent! I'm not easy on holding down Mississippi food idk why but I always throw it up ))): but I held down their Korean food and of course Waffle House! Their soup is spicy! I LOVE SPICY! it gets busy during lunch hour!

Solid 3.5 stars but good enough that I rounded up. Good: - Clean tables, GIANT tv for football, great service - Gal bee was soooo DELISH! I can eat that all day, e'rry day. I'm salivating just thinking about it. - Lots of kim chi sides and they offer seconds! Semi-good: - Steamed dumplings: I make frozen dumplings at home a lot and that's what this tasted like. I mean, they're good but like I said, I can make them at home. The sauce was amazing though. - Tofu seafood soup: I prefer soft tofu and these were chunks of firm tofu. Flavor was spot on but unfortunately the texture was off for me. Overall it's the best Asian food I've had in Biloxi and I would come back again and again for that gal bee.

10$to 11$ for shin Ramen is to expensive. Even if it's served in a dol-sot bowl. Asking for water gets you bottled water, so if you're trying to save money, be aware. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly, but the packeged shin Ramen should be around 5-7$.

  • Jon S.

Food was good, service was lacking - after an hour had to take it to go. For the lunch price though (i think $7?) cant go wrong, go the Bul Go Gi and it was pretty good!

I can tell you that my wife and I are experienced foodies..We found this place on Yelp as we were sitting in our hotel "Beau Rivage" looking to have a nice Easter lunch. Well we hit the jackpot when we found this place! Only 4 miles from our hotel and Mother/Daughter ran....tiny place off the beating path. My beef boulgogi was amazing, best I have ever had...there is only 8 tables and service is just as good as the food..Give these folks a try you will not be sorry!

Best food ever! It's one of the few places I could eat at every day and never yet sick of it. Get the bullgogee extra spicy, yuki mun doo and a sweet tea

This review is LONG overdue but I had to say that This is one of the only places in Biloxi for GOOD asian food. Don't be fooled by its location in a corner, lookin so shabby and not appetizing! Get over it, go in for korean food goooodness! I do believe we ordered Kalbi, bul go gi gyoza/steamed dumplings, bi bim bop and a couple other dishes that I can't remember, but they were all spectacular and very authentic. The Korean lady who was our waitress attended to us as if we were family, and made cute small talk with my husband because she was so intrigued that he loved kim chee! This quaint little place was so good that we went a couple times and even brought friends on several occasions, all which shared the same high praise for the food and service!

  • Erica D.

Excellent Korean food and the ladies there are so nice! My husband and I have been there many times now. Haven't had a bad menu item yet.

  • Matthew N.

I went there for lunch cause I happened to have some extra time. I figured being right outside the gate it would be fast. It was. But unfortunately I did not dig the food. 3 different kinds of gim chee. Shredded cabbage, chunked cabbage and cucumber. I can do with just one. I like gim chee as much as anybody else but what am I going to do with 3 bowls of it? Greasy bul go gi. With the rice on the plate instead of on the side. But that's just nitpicking. They were friendly and I do want to try it again since like I said it was lunch and they were literally running everything to everybody.

Absolutely love this place and always head hear when I'm in from Atlanta. It's so good that I drag my daughters here and they love it too. I can't tell you how good their kim chi is. If you're in Biloxi and have a craving from something difference, you will not be disappointed. The ladies that run the joint are perfect!

    (5)
  • John B.

Not bad. Good service and not too busy. The ramen was just instant cup noodles, though, and cost almost $8. The bibimbap was also obviously not cooked in the stone pot it was served in. Overall not bad, and a surprising find on an overnight stay in Biloxi, but not quite "authentic."

Very good food. I've never had Korean food in Korea but if it taste like this I'm sold. Portions are huge with lots of sides. Service is pleasant, they tell you what everything is. A friend and I had the sushi, chicken and beef. More than we could eat. My favorite was the chicken and sushi. Will be back for more!

RC Korean Restaurant is a nice place to grab some quick Korean when the mood strikes! The Service: When we opened the door my friend and I were greeted and seated immediately, the ladies were nice and took our order promptly. They brought out the lil' appetizer kimchi dishes and drinks almost immediately, once the food came out they then checked back frequently for refills and whatnot. The Food: The food was good stuff, tasty, fresh, good stuff. I've eaten at plenty of Korean joints and they've got a good thing going on here for sure. The kimchi was on point, the beef bulgogi was good, just as it should be. The Pricing: You'll pay an average amount I guess, about 13.50 for the meal, the appetizers, and an iced tea. Not bad at all. Overall, yep I'm a fan, and I'll be back for more.

RC has 2 listings, so I just want to cover all bases :) ========== Atmosphere This place is pretty small (less than 15-20 tables it seems). Sorry, there's no TV, but it's not like it needs one. The food is pretty entertaining already. It feels pretty homey here, like I'm eating in someone's expanded dining room. Korean posters and knick knacks cover the walls, which gives R&C an even more authentic feel. =========== Food The steamed dumplings are the best I've ever had. Ok, the dumplings themselves were pretty good, but the sauce was what made it 5/5. Not only was it a little spicy, there was a touch of citrus. YUM! I couldn't stop eating it. Thank goodness like 12 comes in every order. Korean pancakes were pretty awesome, but watch out, they break your chopsticks (it happened to 2 people in my group lol). It's pretty fluffy and crunchy and packed with seafood, so if you don't like seafood, don't order it. The ribs were phenomenal (4/5), but a little on the tough side. Say yes to the sauce! The stir fried clear noodles were also pretty yummy (4/5). I really love the side dish with the pickled cucumbers though (or maybe it's zucchini?). Almost everything had the same type of sauce, so after a while, it gets kind of old... The portions here are pretty big too, so try not to order too much in the beginning. =========== Service Our server was so sweet and very helpful! She asked us what we liked and what we've had before, then provided her suggestions. She refilled our drinks promptly, and gave us things before we even asked for it (knives, napkins, water). That is good service, my dear friends. There was nothing we didn't like. =========== Why 5 Stars I don't always eat Korean food, but when I do, I eat at R&C.

Don't let the esthitics of the exterior fool you! Its looks awfully shacky on the outside, but its a nice quaint place on the inside. The food was so good I ate here two days in a row while I stayed in Biloxi. The sweet tea is mighty good. On my first visit I had the Cham Pong (Noodles with seafood in a spicy broth) and the Bul Go Gi (Sauteed sliced beef marinated in spicy seasonings) Being the noodle fanatic I am the Cham Pong was good, had a nice kick to it. But the Bul Go Gi - it had me at hello, it had me at hello! That stuff was off the chain! The funniest things to me, was the fact that I grew up with a lot of Korean kids when I was a kid in Chicago and their parents never fixed me any of this stuff! Hey, why were you guys holding out on me! I probably would of moved in! lol!!! Anyhow, I will be returning to this place in the future.

Man, I love this place. I've been here two years ago, and finally they're getting more well deserved attention! Place hasn't changed much with posters of the soju ladies gracing the walls, the massive flat screen, the mom and pop feel.

I'm back. My kids requested this for Viet new year lunch. Lol. Anyways. I've traveled from west coast to east coast and Biloxi hands down korean is still best. Especially here. Their price is reasonable. Food is fresh n delish. My kids order there own meals. They love the Gal be. I love the gal b. but today I'm craving some fried fish. Simply marinade then fried crisp. Simple slaty dish serve with white rice and side of kimchi. Nummy

This place is very authentic! Their B-Bim Bop is slightly different than what I'm familiar with but is quite close. We will absolutely go back again. It is also listed on Yelp as "R&C Korean Restaurant"

In need for some Korean food, I stopped in here and got the bibimbop. Overall it was good but the style they use here was just a bit off from what I'm used to with other Korean spots. The side dishes also were OK, but not outstanding. The service however is very good and everyone was so friendly and responsive. I'd try again if in the area and surely if you are in need for some good Korean food, they will deliver.

    (3)
  • Jason B.

Excellent Korean food. Here's what I love the most though...real sweet tea with spicy Korean food. That is what I call fusion cuisine and no one probably realizes it. Glad I stopped in.

One of the better asian restaurants in Biloxi. Their galbi, japchae, dumplings and side dishes are all very tasty. But their hot and sour soup is what I always have to order, it is sooo good. Everytime I go to Biloxi, RC is a must stop on my list!

  • Ray Q.

I have learned to cook this cuisine myself and was in the mood for something delicious one night. I found this place via a friend and was totally prepared for something great. I was right on when I ordered the Chicken Bul googi it had the right amount of seasoning and flavor heat (spicy) profile. I would recommend this place to anyone and feel comfortable with the meal selections. If you are new to this type of food and don't mind spicy then this is the place to try. The service was warm and friendly. The assortment of side dishes was fantastic and it was located just outside of Keesler AFB. Enjoy. I will be coming back.

Nice little Korean restaurant. Good atmosphere, very friendly people. Very small place though, very limited seating. Big drink selection and great food! I've had Korean food once before and I thought it was better. Decent size serving, I was over filled, just a little over satisfied. Prices are very reasonable. They lady I believe who owns it kind of reminds me of my mom, she was explaining to my friend how to eat his food and mixed it for him. She checked on us a couple times to make sure the food was good and if we needed anything else. I recommend this place for a group of 3-4 people maybe 6. I will definitely be coming back if I crave Korean food!

  • Dayra V.

I was visiting the base and found this restaurant not too far from it! I do love Korean food and this place hit the spot. I ordered the bi bim bap and it was absolutely delicious! It came in a hot pot so it made the rice crispy! My husband had the spicy bulgogi which was spicy but not to the point it wasn't enjoyable and bland. We loved the food and environment soo much we came back the next day!

    (4)
  • Rodney B.

Love this place! I love the spicy bulgogi! If driving by, you'll miss it if you blink. It is a really small authentic Korean restaurant tucked in the corner of a little strip mall shopping center. The service here is awesome. The little Korean lady that serves you is super nice and makes you feel like she was serving you in her own home! No need to order an appetizer because like most Korean restaurants, they bring you out free small bowls of assorted kimchee style veggies that are delicious (coming from a guy that mostly loves meat). They will make your food as mild or burn your anus spicy as you want. You honestly get what you ask for so be careful! Haha! Really though, this is the only place we go when in the mood for Korean food.

  • Elizabeth B.

I went here for lunch today, and while the other reviews are correct, its not the best of service. The food is good, I had The Korean Sushi Roll and the Spicy Hot Soup with Sliced Beef. The Korean Sushi Roll was good, it had crab and beef in it, and the soup was good to.

  • Linh B.

Great food for a wonderfully low price! Enjoyed the variety of pickled side items that came with my meal. Only problem was how small the restaurant was. I was in a group of 8, but we had to split into 2 tables because they couldn't accommodate us. Other than that, food and service was excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

Rare chicken anyone? We tried the beef bulgogi twice and enjoyed it. 3rd time with 3 other friends decided to try chicken bulgogi, guess what?? it was under-cooked. It was an quite an unpleasant lunch experience. Rare chicken!!! Horrible...

I was really excited to find a Korean restaurant in this little area. Ugh, turns out that it was not what I was expecting it to be. It's very crammed, and the food wasn't that great. I asked if they offered a Korean soup referred to as "Soon-Doo-Boo," and the waitress replied yes. They didn't even use the right tofu and it was all mashed up. I asked for it to be very spicy, but they didn't use the right spice. They just threw in a bunch of hot peppers, which made it gross. The soup was also very watered down. My husband ordered spicy Bulgogi, but the meat was very dry. The little side dishes weren't that great. Also, the pricing was a bit much for the quality of food that you receive. I will not be attempting to eat at this place again.

Right next to Mr. Greeks is RC Korean Restaurant. RCK is pretty good and is the only Korean restaurant on the Coast. I have had the bulgogi and Galbi and they are not bad. The assortment of kimchi and banchan were pretty good but the baechu seemed to come from a jar. I also found it odd that they charged extra for rice and being charged for each can of soda. The service was pleasant and I found that the food was tasteful and authentic. I guess I am spoiled in that I am used to So Cal and going to eat Korean BBQ with my fraternity brothers. Everything was moderately priced and while I would love to visit it more often, many of my friends here are not willing to try new foods. It's worth stopping by if you are looking for a good Korean meal.

  • Kay T.

Probably the best Korean food I've ever had, too bad I don't live in Biloxi. When I'm in the area though, I will always go here for some of their hot and sour soup. It is amazing! It's not your regular hot and sour soup either. The lunch menu is decently priced and you get a lot of food! They make everything from scratch and it's the best.

    (5)
  • Heidi B.

This is a great place for lunch. The beef special is delicious and very reasonably priced. The kimchee is good too. The service isn't great but you get used to that.

The best korean restaurant in the south. It even made it threw katrina. Very friendly staff. Huge portions. Prices vary from 7-20. Out of this world radish and carrot salad and 3 types of kimchee. I eat here once a week.

First, I have been raised on Korean food and absolutely enjoy eating my native dishes. But there was almost no redeeming qualities of this restaurant. 1. the bulkogi tasted like SOY SAUCE, a dramatic failure. Bulkogi is supposed to have a mildly sweet taste and cooked over a grill, not a frying pan. 2. I had to insist on getting the romaine lettuce and gochee jang hot paste for the bulkogi. 3. The japchae had a very "OFF" taste and ruined what was supposed to be a very enjoyable meal. 4. It took an exorbantly long time to get my order to the table. 5. They didn't have the traditional Korean tea "podicha" nor even green tea. 6. the kim bop was soggy and had a very off taste as compared to anything i have had before 6. the expected side dishes you would expect before the meal were not served 7. The traditional dessert, cinamon drink, sliced oranges were not served, I had to go next door to purchase 2 cans of cinamon drink to get rid of the taste.....Overall i was completly embaressed after telling my friend all about how good korean food is; This restaurant would not last a week in the Tristate area (NY, NJ, CONN). I personally feel ashamed that the people of Biloxi, MS are subjected to this insult of what Korean dining is supposed to be. May be the other Korean restaurant in Biloxi is better, but i didn't have enough time to try the other one out......DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE

I went here for lunch today, and while the other reviews are correct, its not the best of service. The food is good, I had The Korean Sushi Roll and the Spicy Hot Soup with Sliced Beef. The Korean Sushi Roll was good, it had crab and beef in it, and the soup was good to.
