Had to try this place out as I had heard they had the best seafood buffet in town on Sundays. Let's start by stating this is a buffet and as such you expect hit or miss. This was definitely more hit than miss. They specialize in AYCE snow and dungeness crabs and did they deliver. The meat selections...prime rib...moist n tender, ham...so flavorable. The mac n cheese was like homemade. Fried shrimp, steamed shrimp, cold shrimp, seafood boil...wow. stay away from the fried chicken. No flavor and undercooked. May go again b4 I go home.

Was excited to have king crab and snow crab for my wife's birthday weekend but........ the kings were very small and overcooked. The snow crab was average. The general selection of the buffet is poor. Half the amount of food the surrounding buffets offer, and the nugget is higher in price also. The staff is great and friendly hence this review getting at least 2 stars. I will not be back for the food. The casino however was decent.

Breakfast buffet wasn't impressive except for the omelette lady, she was so talkative and friendly while she made omelettes to order ! The hostess/seater has been here forever and is also sweet.. Food options weren't impressive and didn't look appetizing, always seems to take forever for coffee and juice to be brought to table.

If my family, 3 kids between the ages of 2-13 enjoyed it then I am a happy camper. They ate their butts off!! The boyfriend and I enjoyed it, although we went at the last minute it was kind of rushed. There is better food if you venture out.. For becoming new members our food was almost free. We didn't have to come out that much out of pocket to eat. I would definitely pay full price to eat here again but this time I would come on an empty stomach. The quality was great, service was great, the atmosphere was great... I recommend it if you don't want to venture out.

I went to the GN breakfast buffet and it was pretty good! They had a good amount of varieties and they also had a made to order omelet station. I love their french toast and sausage patties. I like that they have a good amount of different juices and drinks to order in the morning. I had oj and french vanilla coffee, which was amazing! I recommend trying the breakfast buffet! It's only $9.99 which is awesome.

My advice is to make a pass. We checked into the casino and decided to get a bite to eat. It was a bad choice. Both my husband and felt sick all night long. Sorry to say will not be trying again. Should have gone Yelp first

All those negative reviews. I just wanted to say we are here for lunch and the food was great. Friendly staff through out the hotel. Try it for yourself and see.

This was just bad, bad, bad! Most of the food was the same pre-packaged, frozen ready to serve fried food that you would find at any of the low quality $10 all you can eat chinese buffets in most tourist areas. The drawn butter for the crab legs was some kind of vegetable oil with popcorn butter flavoring powder mixed in - it was just nasty tasting. It is shameful that they charge $31 per person and then provide such low quality food. I only found two items that I believe to be made at the restaurant, the rest was frozen assembly line food. I really expected better and will never go back. No steak, just a "display" of some carving meats. When I was able to get someone to come over and serve me meat I was given a small sliver and actually I'm glad because the meat was so tough I wound up not eating it anyways. Don't waste your money, it's the worst casino buffet I have ever been to.

THIS BUFFET IS ABOUT QUALITY NOT QUANTITY. One of the best casino buffets if you are coming for seafood. Thursday through Sunday they offer King crab legs (legs with the spikes) and snow crab legs. Both are seasoned well. They also offer hot and cold shrimp, very large and crawfish. They have a small Asian food section and small salad section. The hot bar usually has a crawfish dressing, sweet potato casserole occasionally crawfish pies. They also have carving station with offerings of turkey and other meats. The desert bar is phenomenal.. offering bread pudding, canolis and mini eclairs. The thing to know is this is not the biggest buffet compared to others such as the beau and hollywood but the quality is great. I find most people head straight for crab legs when entering a buffet and if this is you then you will be pleasantly surprised. The only drawback is the tables are very close and crammed together but besides that you will enjoy it. Thursday and Sunday its $28.99 and Friday and Saturday its $29.99.

Not worth the 29.99 even for the crab legs. Food mediocre at best! Would not go again but would go back to Beau Rivage Buffet. No comparison!

We came for the King crab legs on a Friday night. They were a little smaller than normal for us Northeners but just as sweet. We also went to the buffet at the Palace during our week in Ocean Springs. The Palace had more selection, but the Golden Nugget was best in quality. Lots of shrimp and better desserts, including a chocolate fountain. My husband thought the fries chicken was better. I had no room to try it. Gambling was no good at either! But at least the GN made it easier to collect the free start up money.

The buffet was not satisfactory. No steak, small snow crab legs they advertised king crab legs but kept them in a drawer behind the buffet so no one could get them. You had to ask and when I asked they said they were out next time they didn't know where they were and the only person who did wasn't there. Finally I had to tell them where they were and to give me some. I don't go to places that advertise something and then you have to fight with the help to get the item. I highly advise everyone to try one of the tons of other casino buffets that are far superior to this one!

We went at peak dinner rush on a Friday. The wait went quickly, which was cool because we were HONGRY. We got sat in a table right where you first walk in, which sucks because everyone in line, starving, gets to watch my fat ass turn snow crab into messy memories. They pack so many freakin tables in there, just imagine eight linemen from the Saints jammed into a little rowboat. Yeah, that crowded. You will be bumping peeps as you walk to the buffet unless you take the long way. The buffet is on the smaller side, and yeah, as in the previous review, they stash the king crab away from sight. I never had any, but I saw a lady at a table next to use chowing down on some, so I got up and stalked the buffet again and still didn't see em. I guess I should have asked but I had a pile of food already on my table I needed to deal with. It's just an okay buffet, service is good though, but if you wanna be crammed in like sardines and have limited selection on your food, here ya go. I'mma stick with BOOMTOWN.
