Good food out in the "middle of nowhere." I had the steakhouse burger with fries and my husband had the pork tenderloin with steamed broccoli. All were good and tasty. Glad we have this restaurant as a potential food stop on the way up to visiting the in-laws.

Don't ask what we were doing out here in the middle of nowhere. We stumbled across the Junction while roadtripping through the corn fields. And I'm glad we did. The service here was very quick, polite, and professional. The wait staff went above and beyond for us. And the food was very good. The burgers were well seasoned and well cooked. I would definitely return if we're ever back in the middle of nowhere again.

This "new" Junction is just as good as the old one (this one built a couple of years ago after the other building burned down). I always order catfish. You can have it: filleted, whole, or on a sandwich (maybe there are other ways, too). The sides are extremely generous & delightful (steamed vegetables, cottage cheese, the usual Midwestern sides), except for the "candied apples" which are 'way too sweet. On Easter Sunday, four of us showed up between noon & 1 (insane, I know...) & of course would have had to wait more than an hour to be seated in the dining room. So.....we ate in the bar. It was kind of dark & spacious in there and we couldn't see the crowds or anyone we knew out in the dining room, but did have an excellent Sunday "dinner". The bar allows smoking, but no one was smoking; we just moved the ashtray off our table & couldn't smell smoke at all. Generous iced tea, generous amounts of catfish, salmon, chicken were had by all...We'll definitely be back! (I'd give it 5 stars if the wait staff could possibly stop by the table a few more times during the meal for drink refills).

Junction is about all that there is around here. There is another place or two around the lake but this place is good. It's split in half. One side is a traditional restaurant and another side is a bar. It's a good place to eat and have a drink after a day on the lake.

Prime rib night a favorite...Wednesdays. Their salads pretty bland. Good service. Portions generous....humongous baked potatoes. Salmon excellent. Never disappointed yet.

Service was quick and friendly. My Greek salad was huge and delicious. Located in the mark twain lake area I wasn't expecting much for quality. But I was really impressed with the quality if food and service.
