I love Chick Fil A. But since I've moved to Independence from Lees Summit, I've had to start going to this location. They recently changed the buns they use on their sandwiches... And my order is almost always wrong. Might have to start driving to Lees Summit whenever I want some. (Disappointed) :(

I'm not about to dress like a cow for anybody, but it's yummy nonetheless. Our whole family will happily eat here. If you have children, you understand where I'm coming from. I love that they are trying to move toward more healthful ingredients and really working with experts and their suppliers to see if they can go organic and more whole foods. We'll see what the future holds, but I still prefer Chick-fil-A to 99% of fast food stops.

As my mother and I entered the building we were talking about how we always enjoy how kind and courteous the servers are at Chick fil a. We are not in our neck of the woods today and had not visited this location before. Sad to report our expectations were let down. Though I greeted the cashier with a smile she never returned one. I placed our order in a friendly way and asked a question about an offer on the signage outside. She was not only uninformed about the offer but was rude in answering me. Later, she asked what toppings I wanted on my yogurt and I misunderstood something, having never ordered like this before, and she was condescending and pushy. I was hoping my experience was just the server having a bad day but my mom thought it was her personality. After reviewing the previous yelp reviews on this location it seems I am not alone and this was not an isolated incident. :( The team never checked on us as they usually do at most locations and never cleaned the tables - most of which were dirty. There was hardly any customers this morning inside or through drive thru so there was no excuse.

I guess I can't even leave a review about the food because while it says their hours are until 10PM, I went pretty far out of my way to go to this location because I had a coupon for a free sandwich. I figured I might as well use it up. It was only about 8:30PM and the place was a ghost town. I've had CFA a few times before and their chicken is never crispy. I'm told that it is supposed to be like this. How do they get such good ratings? Why would someone want something deep fried, yet not crispy. I don't get the draw of this place. Notice how most of the reviews don't say much about their food. The pictures of the food even look like garbage.

I used to love it here. The food is great. HOWEVER, the "Christian" service is horrible. I won a Facebook contest and went in to get my prize. I was told in front of the crowd that I wasn't on the list. I told her that I was notified as a winner. She went to the back and returned with a prize and said "you really aren't a winner but we will let you have this anyway." I emailed the owner and explained how embarrassing this was. He said he knew I was a winner and was sorry. He made excuses for how I was treated. Come to find out, it was his mother-in-law that treated me this way. Then, not a week later I went through the drive thru. They were very busy and had an assembly line going that I could see and hear as I waited for my food. The same manager said "my god, they want Chick fil a sauce and mayo?! That's a heart attack waiting to happen!" Such nice Christian people there. Wow.

I'm a big fan of the chicken here. Delicious. This is one of the better locations in KC. Avoid peak times, it gets hammered. They deal with it pretty well, but it does get a little too busy to deal with. Some of the CFA locations are real skimpy on sauces, you have to ask. This location has them all laid out so you don't have to wait in line or beg like Oliver Twist. Nice. Other locations should emulate this practice. The Lee's Summit store, for instance, is much stingier with the condiments. Like Culver's, they seem to hire a little better caliber of worker than the average fast food place. You rarely if ever get a slow, lazy person at the counter or anyone with attitude. They must screen their hires better, or not tolerate mediocrity like, for example. Mickey D's seems to. I would agree with some of the other comments that the it's fairly pricey for fast food, and the portion sizes are a little on the small side. I'd probably give them 5 stars if the bang for the buck factor was a little better. Ultimately, though, the tasty food and attentive service earn a solid 4.

This place does it right. Friendly service, super clean restaurant, great food. Sign up for their text club and follow them on FB. There are frequent contests and giveaways. The text club often sends out BOGO texts. Other CFAs in the area need to get with it. Best CFA in the metro area!

I was treated to lunch here by a friend some months ago. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was moist, juicy, and very tasty. I can only rate them on the food and the service I received, but due to personal feelings, I will not be back. I choose to frequent places that do not support hatred of any sort and that does not believe in lying to save face. Sorry Chick-Fil-A.

Staff was super friendly, as always. I arrived at 6:20AM, they didn't open until 6:30AM but they insisted I go ahead and order and it wouldn't be long. The chicken biscuit was awesome, as were the potato rounds and coffee.

This week they are giving away free spicy chicken biscuits, if you click here: getspicychicken.com/?sou… . They give sandwiches away every now and then, and it's worth keeping an eye out for it. Reason: I can't go into Chick Fil-A without glancing at their dessert menu, which consists of shakes, ice cream, and brownies that are the counter. This month, they have a peppermint shake. It has atleast 2 inches of whipped cream on top, a cherry, and peppermint pieces that get pleasantly caught in the straw. It;s 2.87, that is tax included, and worth every penny of it. This location has been open since the summer. Next time I'll post a photo. It is over looking Independence Center, and is always busy. I was so happy to see it open, having eaten at the one on Metcalf quite often. The chicken is really good. It's a good taste, with even breading. The fries are waffle fries, and you get a nice portion. The bun is fresh, and I can order a chicken sandwich plain and they don't mess it up. I've not had the wraps, but I'm willing to try them. They are 4.85 for the sandwich. You can order online with a 50 cents processing fee. The restaurant still has a new look and feel. It includes a play area. The employees are happy and polite at the counter. Quite possibly, Chick Fil-A is one of the better chains in this area.

Oh man is this tasty! They make Grilled Chicken and normal Chicken Sandwiches. For everyone talking about Cathy's comments, he has a right to speak his thoughts. And so do I. And so do you. But don't blow it out of proportion.

Yes, I just rated a fast food chain with five stars. It's as good as it gets! I have tried (and liked) almost the entire menu, but the original Chick-fil-A sandwich is my favorite, especially with waffle fries dipped in honey roasted BBQ sauce on the side. The service here is great, but it's almost always hoppin' busy. If you go on a Saturday afternoon, be prepared to settle for any open table.

Chick Fil A is as good as fast food gets. From the friendly "my pleasure" attitude to the cleanly organized sauces, this place is great. But don't forget, these chicken nuggets and chicken sandwiches are delicious! Chick Fil A, Chick Fil A, Wherefore art my chicken today?
