Worst service from a waitress we've ever gotten there! In a huge hurry brought out food and never came back! We had a birthday and asked for them to sing granddaughter was wanting singing for her mom, I had to go and get manager to get it done finally!!!

Ate there tonite, simply horrible food. Service was good but that did not make up for the frozen raviolis and disgusting dried out meatball appetizer. Pasta sauce tasted like it was Chef Boy RD's. Nasty food at big price.

I have been eating at Pasta House since the mid 80's and with all honesty over the years the quality of their food has really decreased, I still choose to eat there because despite my views on their food quality it is still good, however it seems like their prices have changed over the years but not for the better. I have eaten at this location 2 times, and both times I have had mediocre service. I don't know if its because it was loaded with a bunch of prom like kids, but we did seem to wait forever for refills and even just routine check backs to see how we were doing. I ordered the Spaghetti which I hadn't had in a while, and overall the taste was a little bland. I normally eat the Caneloni or when I am feeling like spending a little bit of money I will order the Chicken Marsala. I will continue to patronize The Pasta House Co. however I will most likely steer clear of this location and keep to the ones that I know will offer the better service.

Taste was similar to fazoli's on an olive garden budget! Sad. Salad soaking in cheese, over cooked pasta and taste-less sauce. Not to mention a million annoying people with overly loud children. Not my place. Again, visited this place in a dire state.

Not impressed. Food was bland, and not good at all. Our "waitress" was just as bad. Took her 20 minutes to take our order. When our food came out we had no silverware for at least 5 minutes. I eventually had to grab 2 rolls of silverware off another table. The waitress rolled her eyes at me and said "I was going to bring you some" . I will never eat here again!

POOR HOSTESS SERVICE! Walked in for lunch, hostess took us to the very back where she was apparently seating everyone as it was so cramped and crowded that there was only room for one of my party of two to sit. This was very apparent to the hostess by the look on her face, BUT SHE DID NOT CARE AND TURNED AND WALKED AWAY! Needless to say, me and my wife did the same.

Unlike City Pasta House Restaurantes...this place is very dependent upon your waitress. With all of my visits here, I have only had 2 EXCELLENT waitresses. One is STELLAR, Ms. Hardy is GREAT. All other wait staff need training. You have to ask them to quote the specials and then they may not know them. One tall girl was so rude amd silly, saying, "you know the usual" and she rolled her eyes at us. I walked out and didn't go again for several months. The food is good and their salads are exceptional, now if the Big Boys from STL would only show up unannounced with a group in camoflauge (to fit the area) then this place might raise in my esteem.

Been eating at The Pasta House in Farmington, MO for longer than I can even remember. I usually always get the same dish - Rigatoni Roma . . . tubular pasta noodles (my favorite) with red meaty sauce, great seasoning, and a nice portion of cheese on top of the dish. LOVE MY CHEESE! They even serve their dinner tolls to you out of a basket, by hand. Of course, I just wish she would set the basket down, along with another plate of butter for the rolls and disappear. Why is it the Pasta House locations (Edwardsville, IL and Farmington, MO) seem to taste better than the locations in St. Louis? Is it just me? The service is always good and they have stopped maintaining their smoking section inside the restaurant. YES - those of you in St. Louis might freak out about this, but as of January 14th, no more smoking inside the restaurant. I was told it was in place for ALL Pasta House locations. If you are down in Farmington and looking for a good place to eat, I would recommend The Pasta House. I've never been disappointed in their food, service, and atmosphere.

I am ashamed to have paid $30 for what was about as tasty and healthy as Chef Boyardee. Nasty and a rip off.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
