After running numerous errands in the area, I needed a little afternoon pick-me-up. I got a small hot fudge sundae, and I asked for a big glass of water, because ice cream always makes me thirsty. It hit the spot. I sat. I savored. I read my book. I drank water. Can't beat it!

Even though it had a remodel in the last couple of years, this is the worst DQ location I've seen. The service is often poor. Tonight's visit is likely our last. The place is very dirty as shown in the picture. There was a roach crawling up the wall. My son's Fudge Stuffed Cookie was served burnt and they intentionally tried to cover it up with fudge. The guy vacuuming the floor went to serve food without washing his hands. Far too much attention goofing around than professionally running the business. Hope the ownership reads these.

Grabbed a couple of shakes through their drive-thru with kid 2 on a really hot day. Both were made well and no issues like others who have previously reviewed this place. Maybe the answer is just to stick to the basics with this location? Of note: really nice amount of malt in my chocolate malt. So many places are sufficiently shy with the stuff that you don't really get a malt.

Stopped by here on the way home from picking up the kid from camp. Husband had a chocolate malt and kid had a hot fudge milkshake. I, foolishly, thought a hot fudge milk shake would taste like a chocolate shake. It did not; it really tasted like a hot fudge sundae - you could taste the ice cream and the hot fudge. Husband's shake had lots of malt, which is the best part if you ask me. I didn't get anything for myself - I like to claim that I don't want anything and then demand part of everyone else's. That's how I roll at the DQ...

Took 45 minutes to get our lunch. The staff was unapologetic, and many customers were upset. Not sure what was going on, but disappointing.

1 star for the idiot that took my ice cream cake order over the phone and then failed to proceed to check the schedule and make sure someone would be there to make it the morning of. 4-5 stars for the manager/supervisor on duty when I showed up. I believe his name was Chris. Yes, I placed an order for 2 ice cream cakes. I only had about 24 notice for them, but they assured me that as long as it was a "normal" ice cream cake, it wouldn't be a problem. The girl on the phone seemed like your typical DQ employee - some high schooler that doesn't get that whole "work" thing. To make it worse, I'm sure this West County dweller is only being forced to work by her parents. Not knocking West County. Just an observation. I was once a high schooler in WestCo and found myself in the definite minority of those actually working because they wanted to be independent and have their own money. Anyway, I digress. I came in yesterday evening and surprise, surprise. The cakes aren't made. I knew it as soon as the girl I met at the counter went to the back and didn't return, only calling for the supervisor from the back. You have to love how the children working there are afraid to confront customers. I'm sure they'll have really successful careers in the future. Anyway, Chris came to talk to me, completely apologetic, bending over backwards to make what they had pre-made in the freezer and offered me a sizable discount without me even asking. Even offered a free cone, sundae, soda, whatever I wanted basically. They made the adjustments to the cakes, and I was off, carrying one cake myself and being helped into the car by the other. I got to my destination before i discovered a misspelling on the cake I didn't carry. Whatever. There has to be a cakefail blog out there somewhere to post it, right?

I've been going to this Dairy Queen for years, and I have to ask myself why. Not only are the employees untrained teenagers with absolutely no customer service skills, but the manager(s) are incompetent amateurs. Several times my order has been incorrect and I have simply asked for them to rectify the problem, only to be met with either blank stares or yet another problem with the replacement food. I ordered a banana split and they neglected to put bananas in it. Really. What kind of person can even miss that step in the process of making a BANANA split? They consistently get orders wrong, give the wrong food to customers, and generally don't care when people complain. I for one have given them chance after chance to fix their issues, but to no avail. They will no longer receive my business, and I suggest that all person avoid this place like the plague. Unless of course you enjoy wasting time and money.

Came to this DQ on a particularly lazy Saturday night, after visiting with the boyfriend's parents in Wildwood. All DQs are about the same, and my blizzard was yum - but the place in general was kinda weird. I'm pretty sure we witnessed an awkward exchange of words between who I assumed to be a manager, and one of his awkward teenage girl workers. Not in the back, where we couldn't see them, just kinda hear - but right up front, as we were waiting for our ice cream. The manager seemed a little pissed off in general, and while I can give him some slack, as it was the end of the night, he just rubbed me the wrong way. The air conditioner vents were also dripping water onto the floor - everywhere...from each one - so that was definitely kinda gross, and hard to avoid. All in all, good place to get ice cream on the cheap, but definitely not the "nicest" DQ I've been to. (Not that any are particularly "nice".) Hah.

I usually don't have a problem with Dairy Queen but today I had waited 15min for two concretes. When I asked the girl about my order, she said it was never even made! Then took their time to make the concretes.Service is horrible.

Got the $5 bacon cheeseburger lunch. Finished my meal then waited 15 minutes for a sundae that never came. Had to remind the girls behind the counter and they just looked confused but I got my tiny sundae in the end. I would've really understood the mishap if it had been busy but there was only one other person reading at all the time. Food was good though overall!
