My wife and I have frequented Asian Hon take-out for around 5 years, for most of that time we've gotten it every Friday night. We got to know the owners there well- wonderful family! The food is normally good. Occassionally they make mistakes, but they're always ready to correct them. Their delivery is usually on time or early- I think they were late twice in about 3 years.

Really awesome owners...good people who love to cook and serve you... I always go here for takeout....like other reviews, it might not appear open, but it is...always giveout extras with meals...cookies fried dough sauces...etc...non traditional foods like chicken wings are great too... Only Asian place in Shakopee too...

Perfect service and very good food. I ordered the egg rolls, arrived steaming hot and so tasty. Next followed the Hot & Sour soup...also arrived steaming hot, tasty but far too much corn starch for my liking. If I could, I would suggest no corn starch. It adds nothing to the flavor and only thickens the soup...which should be fluid and not a thick bowl of gravy or similar. Lastly came the schewan chicken...a stir fry dish with red peppers, vegetables and some heat. I ordered a 4-star (0-5 scale). My dish arrived quickly and steaming hot. Unfortunately, the sauce was very sweet...no hot spice from the pepper. I could only eat about half of the schewan chicken before just needing to put down the fork. And while the soup was tasty, the heavy handed use of corn starch and I could only eat a few spoon fulls. All in all: a 5-star on service and great conversation with the nice older woman serving me...and a 2 for my meal. I am giving them an overall 3-star. Sorry, I truly support local family businesses, but I won't be back anytime soon.

Asian Hon is so delicious.. and they deliver! I haven't varied much in the menu selection, because when I have, I haven't been too thrilled. I really like their eggrolls, cream cheese wontons, and sesame chicken. The fried rice is great too. It is definitely worth a shot. The delivery guy is always super nice and friendly too. Sometimes you have to wait quite a bit for your delivery to arrive (about an hour, sometimes more) but if you pick it up in store they typically have it ready in like 20 minutes. I thought this place was closed for the longest time, until someone recommended it to me. They have really decent prices, too. If you haven't checked it out, you definitely should!

Cavernous dining room. When I ate in, we were the only table. While eating, the phone rang non-stop with delivery orders. They do a fair amout of business, but it's not dine-in business. The food itself was great. The soda was in a can. I wont be dining in anytime soon, but I'll definitely consider delivery.

You might not even realize this place is open in Shakopee but that is a loss. The food is delcicious; I love their lunch combo that has beef lo mein with pork fried rice and an egg roll and my husband enjoyes the peppered beef entree. Polite service and they deliver (even on Christmas!) Fair price for a good meal here.

First time my hubby and I ate here, and the food was very good. Love the cream cheese wontons. I had sweeet and sour chicken and my husband had General Tso's chicken. Both dishes were flavorful and we had some fried sugared doughnuts too, yum! The food is above average, the restaurant is very clean, and the service was great! Very nice lady that waited on us. Don't pass this place up! There was roadwork on this part of the highway so a lot of people may not realize it is even open. And they deliver too, but the restaurant itself is very cute and you can have a very nice meal there.
