It's too bad when all the food comes out hot and delicious but the service just can't keep up! Our waitress was indifferent and took forever with our food! The dinner we ordered was very good though! Too bad we didn't even get biscuits until our entrees came out and I had to ask for them multiple times! Same with our waters, they didn't come until after we had our entrees! Overall we were happy with the food, which appeared fresh and arrived hot... Just wish the waitress (Laura) would've smiled at some point. (btw, it was not very busy at all)

I like it. The food is pretty expensive but most of the time its worth it. I really like the crab. I just do not like all the butter sauce...

Yeah, you don't go here for the seafood. You go here for the cheddar biscuits, caesar salad, and to get rid of that urinary tract infection with the awesome Boston iced tea. No seafood snobs come here...which is a plus.

I've had one bad experience here regarding two extremely rude host staff members when my husband and I were trying to be seated for dinner. (July 2013) I immediately asked to speak to a manager once we were seated at a booth and so I allowed them to make it up to me by offering a free appetizer. After that experience, I didn't come back here for a year. But I'm back now. And it seems as though everything has turned around. Maybe the change in management from Darden to Golden Gate Capital has done a world of good. The service is always exemplary, and the food quality is consistently good which is what keeps me coming back. I'm willing to put aside some mild service irritations such as slowness in bringing water, extra cheddar biscuits and salads. Once the food arrives, it puts me in such a good mood that I'm ready to forgive all and just enjoy myself! I seriously think they have some of the tastiest wood-grilled salmon ever. I enjoy their daily Fresh Fish selections with a side of drawn butter. Caesar Salad is a great choice and they also offer different potato sides and vegetables with your meal. Try the Rice Pilaf for something different. I usually get their Create Your Own selections, and I like the shrimp linguine Alfredo, the Coconut Shrimp that comes with that sweet pina colada dipping sauce, and the Garlic shrimp scampi that comes to you in a little dish swimming in lemon and garlic butter. Now you're talking to me! That I like.

Mom's choice before The Rolling Stones for a late lunch we each picked two and were pleased with our choices. The staff was super friendly and did everything they could to avoid ingredients mom is allergic to.

Don't bother calling and asking if they take reservations. I called and was asked for how many and at what time, then was told that they don't take reservations for my party of three. Don't ask me questions if YOUR answer to my request is no. The food here is middle of the road, which is ok when we're looking for it.

Friendly staff. Good value, you get a lot of food for each meal. Caesar salad was great and of course the cheddar biscuits are the best! I ordered the shrimp trio, it was was huge and delicious! Not top quality but good for a chain restaurant. Would recommend this place. Can get kinda busy on Friday and Saturday, they don't take reservations.

Our salads and entrees came at the same time, and the manager on duty noticed. She apologized immediately, then promised each of us (3) our own dessert, free of charge! I got the apple crostada (amazing and totally recommend), my best friend got the lava cookie and my boyfriend got caramel cheesecake. The waitress was super attentive excluding the salad mishap, which wasn't even much of a huge detriment to begin with. Great service, I can't wait to return!

Place has got the best seafood with the best Ceasars dressing. Also got free stuff for the lady's birthday.

I'm pretty sure that their cheesy garlic biscuits were a gift from the angels because there is no way something so simple should taste this heavenly. Those biscuits are a reason to go to in themselves but if you like lobster, you've found the right place. You know that saying 'practice makes perfect?' Well Red Lobster has been practicing for a hellava long time and man have they perfected cooking lobster. They not only cook it well, they buy so much lobster that the price is right too. My absolute favorite entree is the Ultimate Feast. Lobster tail, snow crab legs, two preparations of shrimp, a loaded potato, caesar salad, and a basket of cheesy garlic biscuits all for $28? Are you kidding me with this?! It's like the freaking seafood jackpot!! Do not miss out on the caesar salad - their dressing is creamy and so tasty you'll want to lick the plate. If you're looking for something less likely to create a budda belly, they offer some great healthy fish, creative appetizers, and a variety of land and seafood. I typically get pretty good service at Red Lobster and always feel welcome. However, they don't take any reservations so it's always a risk that you may hit during a busy time and need to wait for a long time. For whatever reason, people often bring small obnoxious children here and that takes away from the dining experience as well. If it weren't for those two things I'd come more often.

Another chain joint but good service, consistent food quality for what I would expect from a Red Lobster. Compared to other Red Lobster this would get my : Go To, Will Return Had two orders of grilled rainbow trout : not over cooked, flavorful fish . . . Good meal ( coconut appy was BONUS ! )

First warning was when I came in the door and the whole place stank of fish. A tank of desultory lobsters burbled in the lobby, and you could almost hear the lobsters thinking "okay, you got us, but please take us to some other restaurant to be served". I had the Broiled Seafood Trio - "Garlic shrimp scampi, fresh tilapia and crab-and-seafood-stuffed shrimp." The tilapia was flavorless (which really, all tilapia is) and dry. The scampi was not awful, though the shrimp were VERY tiny, and it was extremely salty. The stuffed shrimp were cold, and tasted off. Made me wonder what the "seafood" component was. brr The cheese biscuits were tasty, but really not worth the almost $30 I paid for my dinner. It's no wonder Red Lobster is struggling to stay afloat. I'd suggest heading back to Snelling, driving North and going to Joe's Crab Shack if you feel the need for great shellfish and fish. Joe's is not a Michelin place either, but at least it smells clean when you walk in the door, and they have figured out how to communicate to their cooks how to prepare seafood.

Frozen shrimp tempura and coconut shrimp, what a disappointment. The server treated me like an old lady. But the broiled shrimp were delicious! I'm torn because usually really good service and food. Stop using frozen products

I agree with the other yelpers in that if you truly want great seafood this is not the place to come but you truly can not beat the endless shrimp deal going on right now. They added a few different choices and they changed their procedure. Yes, I said it, Procedure, call me an organization freak/geek but kudos to Red Lobster for embracing change and making things more efficient. When you get your first order of shrimp, before you are even finished, they are asking you what you want next so as to not waste time. Good for us so we can keep the shrimp coming in and good for them to minimize the length of stay so to maximize profits by keeping the tables full. Our food tonight was really good. It was served hot, fast, and tasted good. We had the new grilled shrimp, Parmesan scampi, regular fried shrimp, and shrimp linguine. The linguine was really awesome, better than most Italian restaurants. I didn't care for the spicy grilled shrimp but my daughter loved them. Try them all! That's what the endless means right? Our server tonight, Fran, was top notch too! She did not miss a beat. She refilled drinks before they were empty, watched us closely to ensure we had everything we needed, and was prompt in delivering our bill. Why oh Why can't all servers be like Fran???? I think I am upping my stars from Four to Five just because of Fran. Thank you Red Lobster for giving me a little faith in chain restaurants again!

Sure, it's Red Lobster, but when there is great service, I believe it needs to be recognized. Service was outstanding. Our server, Bennett was excellent! Very attentive, personable and outgoing. I have always had really great service at Red Lobster by all the servers. He made sure to offer us biscuits right out of the oven. Stopped in for lunch and to take advantage of their shrimp fest promo. Lots of shrimp for only $15.99. There were 5 choices to choose from. The scampi and hand battered were the best. The sweet and spicy skewer thing was not the greatest .I didn't care for the sauce that was brushed on. The rice pilaf was a little off today, it was too gloppy and not the usual good rice pilaf they usually serve. Food is not top notch and not unheard of, but every now and then why not.

The food was extremely tasty but the service was exemplary. Our waitress Britt was fantastic in every way. She should be commended.

Quite impressed with the service. I have been to Red Lobsters before but never really thought much of the services. My sister gave me a choice of red lobster or Vietnamese sandwiches to go. My only major meal of the day so I chose this. There were some mistakes with the service but the staff worked as a team to make it the best experience. They were polite and checked on us frequently. Also just the atmosphere created by the cleasiness of the restaurant and the staff was excellent. I liked it.

Went here this weekend. I haven't been to a red lobster in a long time and now I remember why. This is not a good place for good seafood and it's far to expensive for the quality of the food.

Most of you who know me know that it would be very out of character for me to step foot in this place. But circumstances brought me to this Roseville location. I had breakfast with Bruce at Maria's at ten. So we're talking the huge ass corn pancake. I picked my husband up from a church service and he had an errand in Roseville, it was a fast day so he wanted fish. I didn't know what to get, so I just looked for the cheapest thing. A fish sandwich $6.99. It's 1:00 and I'm still kind of full. I take a bite and sonofabitch if that wasn't one of the crunchiest, best fish frys I've ever tasted. It's topped with cheese, didn't need it. A delicious tartar sauce. If I wasn't gobbling it down, I would have fallen off my chair that I got fish this good here. I find out after it's pollack, another shock. My only complaint is it's topped with romaine leaves, rather than just a leaf. I called the manager over to tell her about this and to give feedback not to take it off the menu. I always notify management equally for a great experience as well as a bad one.Great cheese biscuits, but you need to ask for butter. Nothing like dreading something and then being pleasantly surprised.

This is a seafood place for people who don't eat seafood. If your idea of cooking is meat, potatoes, salt and pepper, than this place will be a culinary dream come true. If you have more of a refined palate then you'll be like "What the hell did they do to this great fish?" It'll be a letdown. You may have a moment of silence for the wasted fish. One thing that these places are good for is the "all the shrimp/crab/whatever you can stuff into your fat gullet" events. If you want to come by with friends and spend two hours eating all of the shrimp you can, then great. If that's not your style, or if this kind of promotion isn't no at the time, you can do better.

Dragged here by some friends who think this is a "seafood restaurant". Like the other posts say - this is a place for those who want an "all you care to eat" outing. Quantity not quality. The biscuits, I have to agree are terrific. Wouldn't have gone if we didn't have to, and won't hurry back. Can't say bad things about them, just not my kind of place.
