The waitresses are absolutely awful. Incredibly rude and don't even pretend they want to help you. You're a burden to them. I stopped going there because I felt so uncomfortable.

Wow, Ladies and Gents that love fish, I am so excited to share, the Mahi has been brought back to the menu. My goodness, I always liked this place but the dish and service put it over the top. Sadly for a while the Mahi was gone and so were we, but we are back in full force with many that love the meal that finally found its way back onto our dinner plates. YAY!!!! So many choices and I wish I could favor a few but that Mahi takes us on vacation every time. Our service was so delightful on a Bingo Sunday night. I would have taken our server on my trip, she was so entertaining and fun. Thank you for a great evening!!!

I used to be a huge fan of this place. We were here almost every Friday night with a large group of friends. Last summer some changes were made in the management and the place kinda changed. It's still a great divvy drinkin' bar but we won't be back this year. Maybe it's the changes or maybe it's us that changed, either way, this place will endure because it does have a charm all it's own. It's worth a stop if you are looking for that kind of place. I hear the burgers are really good!

Love this place! It's got a little bit of that townie vibe. Whoever created the menu did a great job of having a variety rather than just your usual bar food. Prices are very reasonable for the area too!

Delicious food. I've come here for bingo plenty of times and tonight they tell me I can't play because you have to be over 21. Legal gambling age is 18, if you even want to count bingo as such. Ruined the night we had planned. Thanks "management".

Local business with great service and most definitely a townie vibe. Other reviewers are absolutely right when they say it's blue collar and a high school reunion, but this is part of the charm!! They have nothing to hide - the food, drinks and service are all on point, so no need for the clientele to be fru-fru! Bring on that half-drunken rant over there at the bar, or belt out that Rush song if it moves you - you're in good company! :) I always get the Shorty's Burger - it's consistently delicious and the portion, along with the fries or tots, is absolutely worth every penny. And no charging for extra bleu cheese or ranch on the side - booya! We always get great service, no matter if the place is packed or not. Free popcorn is nice too, and there are tons of TVs for sports-watchers. Haven't ventured into the back where I believe there's pool, darts, that kind of thing - but appears to be a good time. Oh, and a meat raffle and bingo are some other events that happen nightly - not sure the nights, but good times! All around, good food, friendly and prompt service, great value - and a place where you don't feel as though you're throwing your money away to greedy corporate execs who only care about profits. It is clear SS cares about it's employees and it's customers based on their continued, and consistent success!

It's not trying to pretend to be anything it's not. Good value. Seasoned staff. Nice proportions.

This place is great! Their pizza is the best in that part of town by far.

Had the opportunity to try this restaurant once ,twice, three times a week while I was staying in the area. I can only review on the take out as I never sat in the restaurant to eat. But if you try the texas pit quesadilla its hard to order anything else. The pizza cheese fries are not fries at all , but rather bread that has all the fixings on it...mmmmm good. Burgers are very tasty . Would definitely go back.

Neighborhood sports bar that has pretty decent food for a sports bar. Their burgers take a while to cook, and even at a half pound, I'm not really sure why, but they're pretty good. Decent beer selection and pretty good service. The music can be awfully loud however. There is no reason to come here unless you're in the area, but if my choice is here or Applebee's down the road, I'll be here.

If you love high school reunions, every weekend, then this is your place! Seriously, it is very odd to walk into a restaurant/bar with one of my parents and then see half of my graduating class of 2004 all drunk and rowdy. In other news, the food is really good and at a great price. It has a "Cheers" feel to it. A lot of the older blue collar class workers meet there after work and hammer down a few drinks. It definitely has a friendly atmosphere!

I've only ever been to this place with my cousins who are from Fridley and I would only ever go with them or else I would be a complete outsider. When they say local bar - they mean LOCAL BAR! A super fun atmosphere with good food and cheap drinks, grab a Fridley graduate and go for Bingo or to watch the game.
