I have only tried the sambusas so far, but they are EXCELLENT and only $1. Better than Afro Deli's sambusas (sorry guys), and cheaper too. I'll be back to try some other stuff when I'm in the neighborhood at the right time (i.e. hungry-time).

This place is casual clean and friendly, there are enough free parking. The kitchen is open ( I personally like that, 'cause I was able to see how my meal is made ) I had the Suqaar (small pieces of chicken, grilled and spiced to perfection) with basmati rice and it was yummy! ............and cheap, I'll be back to HUFAN (have fun)

Some of the pieces of rice where bright green, apparently it's food coloring for fun. And the chicken appeared way to orange, whatever spices their curry consisted of must have included something very brightly colored. This was the first Somali dish I've ever had that included re-fried beans, but with a very small portion and mixed with other vegetables. This is also the only Somali restaurant I've been to that didn't have either soccer or politics on the TV; while waiting for my food I watched Hardcore Pawn, who knew the pawn shop businesses could be so sleazy? But the second time here the TV was on a Spanish language channel. For $1, the Sambusas are a good deal, the Curry Chicken was fine, and the BBQ chicken was pretty good. FYI they don't take the Restaurant .com certificates that you can buy online.
