I went here this morning with a friend, and probably had the best bagel I've ever had! The bagels here are actually soft--not chewy--and have great flavor. They variety is great, and they have strudels and other confectionary delights as well. I will have to go back for lunch sometime as the sandwich selection is great as well. My one concern was the amount of "shmear" they put on the bagel (their "fancy" term for cream cheese). I could feel my arteries clog as the creamy goodness entered my bloodstream. Maybe it's just me...I will request it on the side next time. They have an espresso bar, which is kind of cool. I had a latte which was better than what I expected for the price. The service was very good, but it was kind of slow when I went (around 10 AM). I think there are better places to go if you are in a hurry to grab some food, but I will disagree with other posters and say that it would be a great place to get some work done. There is a bit of a hallway away from the main counter that is quieter than the main area. The atmosphere and building are a bit unique; it feels different than the big box/'franchisey' average Chanhassen business. I will be back. The bagel was seriously great...I can't stop thinking about it...

Service was crap. No hello. Def not friendly. Very quiet. Felt like they couldn't care any less if I was even there. No your welcome after I said thank you either. Going back to Bruegger's next time.

I've been going to this place for a long time and it's been through a lot of different managers and staff. Sometimes I'm surprised it's still around. I have to say I do like their bagels but I mean how hard is it to mess up a "good bagel". This place is fine if you want to get a quick bite or take something to go. I don't think this is a place that you'd find yourself hanging out for an extended period of time with your laptop. Besides wraps there are lots of sandwich options but my fav is the "bros bistro" salad. I think it's probably one of the better options in Chan for a "quick go to" for breakfast or lunch.

I no longer eat here. They changed the whole way they ring people up and it sucks. I used to go here because they were fast, and it's right across the street from where I work so it was convenient for grabbing a quick bite and some coffee, and wasn't too terribly expensive for what it is. Now though, prepare to wait in line for at least a solid five minutes per two-three people in front of you. I've walked out on numerous occasions because I had to get to work and couldn't wait in line anymore. After the third time I said "never again" and I haven't. There's lots of other cheap fast food in Chan to go to before work.

My husband and I visited this location a few weeks ago on August 16th. It was a Saturday morning and was fairly busy but there were 3-4 associates working so I was anticipating it to be fairly quick. The whole ordering/paying process now seems to slow everything down and complicate the process as well as the associates. The first minor thing that happened was when ordering. I ordered a lunch sandwich and the associate asked me what side I wanted with it. I explained that I only wanted the sandwich; no sides, no drink or any extras. She then went on to list the side options for me and I again said I only want a sandwich. She said I had to choose a side so I picked something that I thought my husband might eat later. Then, my husband ordered a sandwich and when she typed it into the computer, a display popped up that said "no side." I thought it strange that it was an option for him to have no side but I had to choose one. I didn't bring this up however as there was a line behind us and I didn't want to hold anything up. Then, we got to the other end of the counter where you pay. There was a young gentleman working the register. He was working on ringing up the order in front us and it took a little bit of time. While he was doing this, our sandwiches were finished and were handed to us. So, we had our sandwiches, were next in line, and just needed to pay. The young man finished the transaction in front of us and then walked away from the register and started making smoothies for someone further back in the line. Now there were multiple people waiting to pay, but no one working the register. Finally, the same girl who took our order initially looked down at the empty register and the line of people and she walked down to the register. But, instead of helping the first person in line (us) she pointed to the people behind us and was going to ring them up. At this point I interrupted and asked if we could pay for our sandwiches that we already had in our hand as the people behind us were still waiting for their order to be finished. She said ok. The associate told us our total and I handed her a coupon that I had for 20% off our total purchase and then handed her my card. She swiped my card and handed it back to me, didn't offer a receipt and went to helping the next people in line. At this point we had to go as we were late in getting somewhere. But, in the car, I checked our bank activity online and saw that she didn't take off the 20% coupon. We had no time to go back so I attempted to call the store and talk to a manager to explain what had just happened and ask if they could mail another coupon or compensate us in some way for this error. I called twice and both times got disconnected and essentially gave up. My overall review is that the bagels are good and the sandwiches even better, but the service is terrible. I would maybe contemplate visiting this location again but only if it weren't during peak times and I could assure somehow that a manager would be assisting in the checkout process to ensure all items and coupons are rung up appropriately. It appears however, that the store is run by young kids who are not confident or well-trained and that reaching a manager by telephone is not an option.
