Always a hit and miss with this place. Used to be a regular visiting at least once a week. The quality of the food started to lower while the prices went higher. Service is usually slower compared to other restaurants of this kind. Can definitely say I'm not a regular anymore.

Wonderful service and food, don't know why people say different. And hey, anyone can have a bad day. Thanks

Came in here late. Really late. The crowd was kind of frightening - including some punk kids who had a phone conversation with their mothers - and let me tell you - the way he talked to his mother - probably won't be long before he's calling her asking for a bail out. Anyway -- the food was okay -- mine was a little on the cool side -- not fresh & piping hot like I'd expect from a restaurant that had only 3-4 tables seated in the place. But I was starving, so I just ate it as is. The waitress was very nice - and it's not the staff's fault that the freaks come out at night. Just beware.

Group of ten. Took hour to get food then most of the food was cold. Average food at best. Water never filled. Not much of a restaurant experience for ten dollar meals.

Severely understaffed and as a result, the service is brutally slow. Didn't stick around to eat because of waiting so long to simply get out drink order.

The service was good but the food was awful. When I complained to the waitress/cashier, she looked as if she couldn't care less. I think the kitchen staff are on drugs. we went there at different times and two times out of three days. No real difference was noted. Don't eat there, the only thing they did right was the coffee.

This Perkins didn't even come close to meeting Perkins standards. I had a farm omelet with hash browns. First, I had enough hash browns to fill two forks and they were way undercooked. The omelet had no cheese and was basically filled with green peppers. My wife had pancakes that had a texture and taste of a grilled cardboard box and the sausage links were a meat from another planet. The people were friendly but service was not up to par and the room was PACKED with people, way to many people for the size of this place. The only good items we ate were the muffins, they were great.

We travel through Alex often and have watched this Perkins deteriorate over the years. We gave it one more chance today which will be our last! It is so shabby and dirty. The windowsill was covered with dead bugs & mosquitoes. The bathroom is filthy. The service was slow considering the few customers. My husband & I both ordered breakfasts that were lukewarm when they arrived. I had a favorite of mine, the berry covered Brioche French toast. It is fantastic at the Grand Forks, ND site, but here it was just plain bad. Mushy in the middle, very little fruit (maybe one sliced strawberry & six blueberries) , and a small dollop of whipped cream. I asked for sausage links but received bacon. I did not finish my breakfast; it just was not appetizing. Perkins should close this restaurant or totally revamp it. The way it is now run only hurts this franchise name!

Won't go back. Service is slow and the food is not worth the wait. We went for dinner they were not busy and it took over a half hour to get our food.

It's a Perkins. I wasn't impressed with my entrée, but my wife and kid received a decent meal. Not quite up to the standard of the other Perkins.

This restaurant is very crowded, there are way too many seats and tables for the size of the dinning room, you feel like your in a sardine can. Our pancakes were very tough and chewy and could not even cut them with a fork. Our omelet was very dry and cold, the cheese was not even melted on the top.

So, this Perkins is pretty great. I mean it's like most other Perkins, but I like the people that work there a lot. The other night, a group of my friends and I left Fat Daddy's when it closed and then wanted to go somewhere and play board games, but we knew we'd be too loud for any of our houses so we were trying to decide where to go at 2 in the morning. PERKINS!!!! And all the people working there even at 3 in the morning were so nice! Thanks Perkins!
