This place is so much fun to go to. If you are looking for anything with a vintage feel, or some novelty item, this is the right place. They even have bulk candy you can buy! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere has a very homey feel.

Great store full of silly and fun toys and novelty items plus a nice selection of bulk candy and they even carry Fago pop. The Rocket is a GREAT place to go to pick up a last minute gift.

Visited The Rocket for the first time today for stocking stuffers. Really cute shop with old skool candies, Hello Kitty memorabilia and other stuff. This will be my new 'spot' for different gifts and candies. I think I wanna go back and get a Hello Kitty lunch box and lipgloss necklace. Too cool!

I have always meant to write a review for the Rocket. Met the owners of the Rocket when I was selling my time to a little store called Hudson's and they are nice folks. The Rocket is exactly the kind of place Ypsi needed as part of its revival appeal. I am very glad that Paul and Eli had chosen to put the store right across the street from my favorite Vietnamese place in the world. This Rocket is MEGA fun for killing time while waiting for a carry-out from Dalat and such a cute place to get little presents. It's also the best place to get Y P S I L A N T I T-shirts.

My favorite thing about the Rocket? The bulk candy. But I also like the local shirts, like Pearl Street Blues and the world's most phallic water tower. After that, it's the kitchy products for the house, like John Deere salt & pepper shakers. And I've been bathing with "Wash Away Your Sins" soap for many years. (I think it's helping.) In the mode of Middle Earth or Peaceable Kingdom, it has the perfect gift in the baddest taste for everyone you know. It is the Zingerman's of adult toy stores.

You will turn into a little kid as soon as you walk inside. Adorable store with exceptional collection of robots, vintage toys, and creative inventions. Adventure awaits. Cool, friendly staff.

This is a cute candy store with a twist. There are so many choices: all the types of candies you could think of plus bulk candy. I always get the chocolate covered pretzels, yum! There are also kitschy postcards, kites, t-shirts, random hipster stuff that you'd find in any A2 shop. The staff is super friendly and the selection is amazing! I would peek in here just to check it out and maybe get some chocolate or sour candy, depends on your likes.

love the rocket. nostalgic hard to find candies (cherry cola bottle gummies, zagnut bars, etc), pleasant staff, strange novelties and toys, local merch....im definitely going tonight to get some candy.
