There was a drunk homeless guy causing problems when I got here. The waitresses were much more patient than I would have been. Roberts is a little bit beat up around the edges, but Roberts breakfast special was really good. Cooked in butter, 3 eggs, bacon, sausage, ham and pineapple with the usual toast and hashbrowns. My sunnyside eggs were cooked perfectly. In short - not quite a truckstop as another reviewer described, but greasy spoon/ family diner with good food. Friendly accented waitresses . A little more action than I expected for an early Friday morning breakfast, but I wasn't disappointed. I'd eat here again.

Roberts family dinning is a clean Family-Friendly good portion reasonable price restaurant. Roberts is clean on every corner because it is cleaned. Four to five times daily. It's great for having family reunions or just hanging out with friends. There portions are spectacular for the most best price. I have to say that I have nothing more to say because I'm speechless. ~~~AMAZING~~~~

Passing through on our way to my brothers and stopped to get lunch. Reuben sandwich was not edible (the corned beef was dark brown in color with a awful flavor) and French fries had an old oil flavor. 2 bites from the sandwich and a half dozen French fries created a very uneasy feeling in my stomach for several hours later. Nice wait staff and clean but food was horrible. I wouldn't even give it one star but am forced to click on at least one.

My coworkers and I get carry out from a lot of places nearby and Roberts is one of our favorites. We go there weekly. I love their salads. The lettuce is always fresh and the grilled chicken has the best flavor/seasoning. The servers are always very friendly when I come in to pick up orders and the prices are reasonable.

No stars. The owner's brother. Who is a waitress's. Really rude and mean. I ask nicely to change my food because tasted bitter and she start argument with me Wrong. Really wrong. I'm not coming back. I have to give a star but at my opinion it doesn't deserve one

Sadly this place has gone downhill. I don't know if they got new owners, but the food and servers are just eh. This used to be my all time Lunch go too. But Ill pass. Only thing is they have big portions but it just doesn't taste right anymore. SIGH...

We have no complaint about our waitress. She was a very nice lady. The soup and salad were fine. It went downhill from there. The baby back ribs were boiled and tasteless. The BBQ sauce was the wierdest I have ever had. I was disappointed in the corn, mashed potatoes, and gravy, too. Even the jello was not all jelled. My wife also complained that her chicken and corn were cold. Her gravy was also cold and was terrible. It was the worst gravy she had ever had. She didn't much care for her dessert either. I guess the lack of maintaince of the furnishings should have been a clue that the food would be less then stellar.

I guess I am not surprised that this place has not been rated yet. My wife and I describe this place as a truck-stop, but we love it none-the-less. It is in a less-traveled portion of Van Dyke just south of Hall Road and adjacent to the bridge over Clinton River. Grafiti and broken down cars are an expected scene from the parking lot, but I never feel unsafe or slummin' when I go here. The food is delicious if not completely unhealthy and our first waitress was a pregnant yet smoking woman - you go girl! Don't get me wrong, I find that as wrong as an abortion; however I more strongly believe in minding my own business. If you can mentally time-travel back 30-40 years without regret you could love this place.
