Never again! This place used to cook fresh food. The frozen, processed food they serve now has driven me out the door for good. The Olympic used to be packed for lunch, today it was mostly empty. And I overheard three different tables complain about food, including the people next to me. The owners should be ashamed of themselves but maybe they just don't care anymore.

We love this place, we go there at least once a week, there specials on the Windows are awesomely priced especially the gyro special for 8 dollars , u get tons of food, a huge salad, great fries, and even the drink is included. There Greek food is very close to greektown food. Try the Greek trio, awesome. Ask for Milda, she is cute, hard working and our 5 yr old son has a crush on her. Lol great prices on everything :-)

Adequate, clean, large portions. Soup not quite as tasty as Campbell's from a can. Clam chowder tasted like potato. Everything seems ok, it just doesn't taste very good. Maybe I'm ordering the wrong stuff, but after four or five visits I'm still unimpressed.

Hidden gem here ladies and gents! The grilled Chicken anything is superb! G.C Salads, sandwiches, Gyros and much more! Breakfast is pretty good, waitress staff is more then helpful excluding one or two of the Veterans that we have made it a point to avoid if sighted. Not that they are terrible servers but make you feel rushed and or that your questions irritate them? We haven't been back to the place in while but intend on making the trip shortly. Recommend if you have to get Dinner, Breakfast or Lunch quickly and not heavy on the wallet! Kind of like a Greek restaurant, Coney Island (on steroids) and American Diner all in one! Olympic Flame definitely has a huge group of seniors that visit daily to read their papers, drink their coffee etc. It's kind of sad and happy at the same time. Over the years I have seen married seniors that lost their significant other but continue to keep the morning routine and sit alone. So that could be another positive for all of you Seniors Citizens! Make a trip and meet someone new?? Go there, give it a shot! ;-)

I will never go back to this place!!! I went there a total of three times, and the two last times I had hair in my food. The first time, there was a big black hair in my ranch. The second time, a long hair in my gyro.....they wear no hairnets allowing hairs to fall in the food.....YUCK!!!!!!

We passed by this place looking for somewhere to grab lunch while visiting from out of town. We thought it looked like a nice little Greek place. We both ordered the Gyro Supreme with fries. We were not disappointed. The gyro was large and delicious. Fries were your average seasoned, frozen fries. Still good, though. Great prices and friendly, efficient service. Restaurant was clean and looks like owners keep trying to upgrade.

My mother in law is crazy about this place (I have no idea why). I've eaten here a total of 4 times in the past 2 years and i am not impressed. The food is disgusting. The only good thing they have going for them is that the staff is friendly and attentive.

Food quality has gone down and several times we have tried to place carry out orders only to find they close when they feel like closing and not by their posted hours. Won't be back.

Food was average. Nothing special. Employee uniforms are dirty and small amounts of food compared to prices. Wish the old owners would come back and teach the new owner Sammy some things.

I don't even know where to start. I will be honest I went in kinda late. I ordered their special of Fish and Macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was bland, thankfully I am a Canadian and put ketchup on just about everything and that perked it up. A good thing I will say is the food was hot and our waitress was attentive. And now for what really gets me. I wanted to order a carryout for my disabled mom at home. The waitress went to check to see if the kitchen was closed. When she came back the answer was no. The cook came out to say yes they could do it and the waitress argued and said no. I can understand wanting to go home but the restaurant was not officially closed at this point. In the end it's really rude to shut down everything including the beverage machine before the close of a restaurant. No one likes to feel rushed when they are paying for food. I will not be going there again and will make sure to spread the word.

This place is a little gem. I think Greek Owners....usually fairly fast to be seated...nice and clean. Sometimes the waitstaff can get too chatty (but hey, better than being grumpy!!). The portions are healthy and the food is hot and good. The gyro is very good as is the cobb salad. It usually comes with chicken on it as well, very large portion. The only complaint is they don't take reservations, and it's kind of hard to get more than 6 people together...... Looking forward to May 1st - NON SMOKING ALL THE WAY......

My wife and I count the Olympic as a reliable spot for dinner - with our favorites being their Greek selections. I favor the "Greek Trio" which has a huge sampling of their different Greek offerings. The waitresses are very friendly and you'll have no trouble having them tailor your order to suit your needs. The prices just right too. They also have a nice selection of pies which are beyond the average "gel filled" types other places offer.
