Nice to have a Baskin Robbins in town! I'm happy to see this brand has reinvented itself enough to remain in business for all these years. This particular location coincides with a new Dunkin' Donuts. Put the two together for a near guaranteed sugar coma! Lots of ice cream choices and they also have chocolate dipped waffle cones and bowls. The flavors I've tried have all been true to form and tasted great. The folks working there are always happy to let you try samples before choosing your flavor. The location is squeaky clean and brand new. It's well planned with both and indoor and outdoor seating area. The outdoor area might be a bit noisy since the business itself sits right on Westnedge Ave. The employees are nice and are keeping everything nicely in order. If you don't want ice cream or want to double up on the sugar rush you can dive into the Dunkin' Donuts fifteen feet to the right. The drive-thru is also quick and convenient. Great new business in a more southerly Portage location.
