Amazing burgers!!! It will fill you up and leave a huge smile on your face. The onion rings are crispy and cooked just right. The service is very good too. My favorite part is that the place is sparkling clean and since it's an open-style kitchen, you can see every part of the food preparation process. I've gone there twice already with my coworkers.

Great food, poor location. I have only ordered carry out here, but after the first time, I had to come back. The waitress was very friendly, offered suggestions on the menu and pleasant conversation while we waited. The food was good, I ordered a classic burger and fries (all of their burgers are named after cars). The fries seemed like Oreida, but were cooked correctly. The restaurant looks really out of place in its surroundings, upscale decor. However it is wedged between a McDonald's and a Liquor store, and we had to wait for some neighborhood kids to move their bikes out of the way to get into the parking lot.

I really liked this restaurant until the owner started showing up more frequently. The waitstaff is great and very friendly. It appears that the owner has issues with this and he was disciplining 2 of the staff very harshly and also was using profanity and giving customers dirty looks. I will never go back.

Have ate here several times. Love the interior and it is very clean. The food is always good. The waitresses are very friendly and knowledgeable on their menu items. However, the last couple of times we have been there the management is very rude to the waitresses and verbally abuse them in front of customers (cursing and calling names). Again the food is great but they need to improve the way they treat their staff as I have seen customers walk out when they start with their mouths. I will probably not return.

My wife and I tried Motor City Burgers last night and were very pleased. The burgers were excellent. It's hard to compare them to Red Coat because the two have different essences, but I can reassure you Motor City's burgers are big and awesome. The restaurant has the feel of a clean automotive themed diner. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful and food came quickly. The portions are very generous. I ordered the Challenger which is a double bacon cheeseburger. I assumed the patties would be roughly 1/4 precook weight. Not the case. They were huge. My wife yelled at me. Unless you're extremely hungry, I think most of the single patty options will be fine. Expect to spend between $8 and $10 for a burger and fries. Know that you have an option of fries in case they don't ask.

I stopped in thinking it was a hip, cool new burger place. It's pretty much a Coney Island with a fancy interior. The burger list was only about 1/10 of the menu (read: very short!) and was not creative at all. I was pretty disappointed.

Fast, friendly and darn good. Right next to a McDonalds, which I found funny. Spent $10 on a burger, fries and a drink - and it was ready in literally 5 minutes about. Worth it to me to get a much higher quality burger. I'll be back!

Clean, streamlined decor. Excellent and amazingly fast customer service! The burgers were amazing and for an amazingly low price. So much food I couldn't eat it all. I recommend the burger that comes with bacon, grilled onions, and bacon and is served on Texas toast. Delicious! Will definitely be retuning!

It's ok, could be a lot better. I like the decore. Our waitress was nice. The restaurant is well lit and safe. On to the menu. The burgers taste fine but they could be much better. They serve thin patties of meat here. You can get a single, double or a triple etc.. they are flame broiled and remind me of burger king. They taste good but I was kind of expecting a hand pattied thick juicy burger, what I got was a thin dry patty. I don't know why they asked how we wanted them cooked "med" because these were well done for sure and I think they were probably frozen patties from a box. I liked the bun and the fixings. They had a lot of choices but nothing too odd. I also noticed they had a large menu with a lot of standard coney island food. Not sure why. If you're a burger joint focus on burgers and fries etc.. also the fries were those large limpy crinkle cut fries, not bad but not my usual choice. They had one of those gyro rotisserie things but no meat cone on it. I was tempted to try that because it would be nice to have another gyro option not too far from my area but my wife said "why? We're here to try the burgers, they have burgers in their name" or something to that effect....of course she was right. Lol

I've been meaning to visit for several years, but their location is off my usual path. I must admit that the south-Pontiac location is an odd choice for this operation. Motor City Burgers is an upscale:contemporary coney island, without the usual plethora of menu items, Greek and otherwise. The menu focuses on burgers (doh!), breakfast and deli sandwiches and includes a variety of salads They also feature Faygo (bottled) soft drinks and Better Made chips. Two cuties work the dining room and counter. They know their regulars' likes and dislikes. Their service was prompt and attentive and they worked as a team. When they were not attending to customer matters, they kept busy wiping down flat surfaces and equipment. I appreciate the focus on cleanliness. I appreciate the teamwork approach. I noticed that two of the regulars had gift cards for tips. I opt'd for a cup of the homemade chili and classic cheeseburger w/fries. The chili was a pleasant surprise. It includes beans and is flavorful with a touch of heat. It is thick enough, but not pudding-thick. I apologize for not taking the photo before adding the oyster crackers. I will order it again. The burger has good beef-flavor and was served hot with nicely melted cheddar. The veggies were fresh and crisp. The winter tomato was ... a winter tomato (bleech). I won't hold that against them. The onion was a nice thick slice. The bun was a nothing-special, white bread bun and was not toasted. They need a better bun. I suspect that they will toast the bun on the flat-top, if asked. I really do not like salt ... and the burger was a teenie bit salty for me, but not objectionably so. You'll probably like it. The crinkle-cut fries were likely from a bag, and they were fried to perfection. The cost was $12.5something including tax and before tip. I complimented them on their attention to detail, cleanliness and grossly over-tip'd (on purpose) Will I return? Yes. The uVerse WiFi is secured and rocks. CCW is permitted. I am withholding one star. Why? - Location. While I never felt unsafe at noon:thirty, I hope the parking lot is damn well lighted after dark. - Bun ... the food deserves better. - Inspite of being done to perfection, the crinkle-cut fries were simply nothing special. Next time, I'll pay more attention to the grill work and give the onion rings a try.

We were looking for something new and fresh in the area. We found this as the top recommendation on YELP! and stopped in for Lunch. The directions were a little weird to help us avoid a plethora of "Michigan Left's", but it dropped us off a clean new building next to the McDonalds. When we went in the first things we saw was a very good looking waitress delivering a HUGE salad! I was in the mood for a burger, but will be back for the salad! The restaurant was clean, and set up as a diner. We were greeted at the door, and shown to a booth. The menu was large and the burgers had a variety of "car names". We had the M1 and the Low Rider burgers. I got fries and my buddy got the onion rings (see pics). The M1 was a bacon cheeseburger with a fried egg on top. It was really good, and the meat was fresh. The Onion rings were cooked to order (not frozen) and delicious. The Low Rider was a specialty burger. It had a mildly spicy Sriracha sauce with the perfect amount of heat... and was awesome. Large fresh buns, fresh meat, and authentic toppings make this burger a WIN in my book! They don't have a website to review the menu or specials, and the Facebook page is the auto-generated type formed from others tagging the restaurant. However, despite the lack of social media... I would recommend you come in and take your chances with the chalk board! This is MUST-STOP when you are sick of Coney places on every corner! 4 STARS (needed the menu online so I could give a better review!)

I walked in the place was spotless , greeted nicely by the server I ordered the Lamborghini burger, I also noticed they have old school faygo in a bottle had to grab two of those, prices are very reasonable , in 10 minutes my food was ready , I took a bite and entered a stage of sub consciousness where I realized the meaning of life, which is to come eat here all the time. this whole time I was thinking about stopping to write and go get a burger. and i will as soon as am out of work

It's pretty much a coney island without the Greek edge. If I would've known this place is affiliated with Nikko's and Spargo's (both coney islands/diners) I wouldn't have bothered. I wasn't impressed by either location and this one ranks amongst those. The waitress was nicer here. I was asked how I wanted my burger cooked (surprising), but I still ended up with them well done (i requested medium). Why multiple burgers? I got the sliders, so I am disappointed times 3. The pickles are on the side, don't ask me why, but even those are lackluster. The bread tastes a bit old, there's no flavor in the meat, and the grilled onions are practically non-existent. You really might be better off at White Castle. The building itself is nice, with its title, you'd expect a bit more. I don't know what it is about naming establishments after the locale, I just really want it to be great. This wasn't.

I drove by this place a few weeks ago and decided that when I had a free moment I was going to stop in here and eat. Granted, it's not located in the best of areas, but dang it, the place was worth it! I came here with my mom for dinner on Thursday, and we loved this place! Wonderfully decorated with clean, modern decorations with a beautiful bathroom. Ample menu with great pricing, and my mom and I both loved our dinners here. I went with the Classic burger, and she went with the turkey burger and we both got fries. They have a great burger selection named after all kinds of cars. the SRT burger, firebird burger, etc. They have other menu items as well, such as salads, appetizers and gyros as well. For $14, my mom and I walked out full and satisfied. Worth a stop if your in the area!

Let me start by saying it is possible that the burger could be good. I was with a friend that said let try this place so we ordered the gyros. Big mistake that was the worst gyro meat i ever tasted in my life could not even swallow it because the texture was crumbly like it was ground soy mixed with some kind of meat so when I took a look at the meat it was like a brownish color not the color of gyro meat so I am going to call it mystery meat. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT DO NOT ORDER THE GYRO MEAT oh I almost forgot even the tomatoes where old so I gave the dog food to my dog he ate

Today was my second time here, and both times were for lunch. The chili is average - nothing special, tastes better with cheese. The burgers... The best I've ever had. I have no idea what kind of beef is used, but it tastes fresh and the seasoning is perfect (not too strong). The staff is very friendly and the bathrooms are clean. Not your average burger joint.

Thanks to YELP for showing this good burger joint. Had the mushroom swiss burger and it was good with fresh beef and great fries. Faygo in the bottle was a bonus, next time i'm in the area it's now a must go to spot

I had high expectations for this place, but my experience did not match with those expectations. The burgers had interesting descriptions and could have been great, but they had very dense abnormal consistency and almost tasted as if they were composed of ingredients other than meat. I suspect, having had bad meatballs that tasted like this, that they were loaded with breading. But I cannot be sure exactly why they were so dense and artificial tasting. I am sure that they just tasted bad and had terrible mouth feel. The onion rings were greasy and slightly cold although we waited a while for them. I can only think that perhaps they sat out of the oil for a while before they got served. The décor was as you would expect and the service was very attentive and friendly. But unfortunately, the fine service did not make up for the bad burgers. Oh well...

I was a little disappointed in this place. Any place that calls itself "Motorcity Burgers" I expected to be burger Mecca. However when I walked in a smell hit me first. Not a bad smell, and in fact it smelled tasty, but was NOT burgers. Then it hit me what it was. It was antipasto salad. The place seemed more like a coney island. And a look at the menu showed that they in fact were part of a chain of coneys. now once that was out of the way, I ordered my standard. A Bacon Cheeseburger and fries. The burger was good. Not the BEST I ever had, but far from the worst. I just expected more from a place that is selling itself as a burger place. That said, I have been back several times, and It's not bad at all, and in Pontiac is definitely a place to know. Also, this burger place survives and in fact thrives next to a McDonalds. So that says something. The waitstaff is very friendly and helpful, and my food arrived promptly. Décor is much like a coney, but maintained well, and is very clean. If this was a coney island, I would rate it higher (4), but as a "hamburger" place it gets a solid 3.

Had the woody burger and it was delicious! The burger comes with guacamole, jalepenos, lettuce, tomato and onion and the cook the burger at your direction. My boyfriend had the pulled pork burger but asked if it could be made into a wrap. They were very accommodating and made the substitution. The pork was very tender, but I wouldn't say the sauce recipe is amazing. Being from the south, I am very particular about BBQ sauce. That being said the wrap was a nice shift from your standard burger. My daughter had the shrimp basket. It was a large portion, but your run of the mill small frozen shrimp. The fries were adequate, but frozen. The burgers here are amazing. The only improvement I could see would be substituting the frozen French fries for fresh cut potatoes, and I would suggest a fresh onion ring over frozen. The service was prompt and excellent. We definitely make this a regular stop. They would have 5 stars from me of the fries and rings were fresh not frozen.

Great burgers. Clean, friendly. love this place. the staff is always friendly. its close and clean and I would rather support a small business than a chain if possible

Place was clean, obviously new! Burgers were excellent - we had sliders, regular burgerand a chili burger. Service very good (even brought extra napkins without asking and put our soda in a go cup). Onion rings right up there. Only flaw - they use crinkle cut fries - I don't care whether you bake or fry crinkle cut they taste like cardboard glued together. But, would definately go again. As a side comment the owner was there (well acted like owner) and don't know why he didn't come by and introduce himself - what a good promo.

I recently moved to the area and have already visited Motorcity Burgers several times. I have yet to be disappointed. What's not to love? Great diner atmosphere with Detroit/car themed decor. Fantastic burgers. The burgers are huge (1/3 lb per patty). You definitely get your money's worth. They even sell Faygo in glass bottles. Definitely worth the visit.
